I drove out to this Food City looking for a birthday cake for my husband, whose birthday was that day. I didnt really see what I wanted, but the girl behind the counter said she could decorate one for me. So I picked out a cake, and told her a little about my husband, then shopped the store a bit. 20 minutes later I went back to the bakery to check on my cake and she had it done. I was so surprised. She got the essence of my husband from my brief description and designed a cake fit for a Builder! I was just amazed and so grateful. This is where I will be getting all my specialty cakes from now on.

Have never shopped at Food City until moving close to this location. Now I understand why it was never a priority. The prices are high on high quality products, that are already in short supply. Customer service is lacking as well. Manager approvals for $4 refunds. Snippy assistant managers and distracted associates make this one of the most hated quick trips when home. I am hopeful some competition moves in and causes them to shape up.

Im a student at a nearby college meet friend for an early lunch here sometimes (around 11:00 am). This Food City has a deli and hot food counter in the store. Last time I had Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, a roll and fountain drink for about $6.00. The food was hot and eating lunch here is usually quick enough that I dont worry about getting back to class.

Four stars because a 5 takes one heck of an experience. This place is ok, good variety of product, respectful and productive staff, and everything works fluently. Nothing bad can be said about this place honestly. Just another food city, their meet selection is very good as well! Happy shopping!!

Clean, great location, plenty of parking. Employees are polite and friendly. Customer service is great. Bathrooms always well maintain. Shelves are well stocked and always great prices for you deals. Can handle large crowds. Full gas pumps offered too. Wheelchair accessible

Food City is consistently over priced on items other grocers have readily available. Their selection is mediocre and their staff is undertrained at best. Driving the 10 minutes to any of the 3 Krogers near by is worth the time and fuel.
