My girlfriend just moved the area and after moving in the last of the pieces, we collapsed on the couch, hit the "Explore" function in Maps, and went to searching for a quick bite to eat. Imagine my surprise to find a British bistro just down the road and sporting rave reviews. Im always a little skeptical when I see nothing but glowing reviews, but we decided that some tea and a sandwich was just what we needed, so off we went. We walked in and the first thing that caught my eye was the little Shop they have selling British foods, I had to be peeled away in order to go actually order food from the counter. While everything looked great, we settled on the Turkey, Brienne, and Cranberry sandwich with a small pot of tea. Their tea selection is very nice and the staff is very knowledgeable and have great recommendations. We then took a seat at a table and admired all the Anglo sights that are literally everywhere you look. Our tea was ready nearly instantly and was wonderful. All of this had made our expectations unfairly high regarding the sandwich, and when they came, we were not disappointed in the least. The turkey was perfectly moist and "torn", not sliced, which paired perfectly with the sweetness of the cranberry and the bite of the brie. After eating we grabbed a selection of baked goods to try later (which we have)all are great, but the Lemon Mini Vicky shines a little brighter than the rest. Even better all the prices are VERY reasonable, you can come have a nice lunch and not break the bank. Between the fun atmosphere, pleasant staff, great food, and exceptional tea; this is destined to become a go to place for us and it should for you too. Ive never been to the UK, but I can imagine this place is about as close and I can expect to get without a passport.

A charming little British place serving up tasty home-style bites! The food is simple yet tasty, hearty and satisfying. We ordered a cottage pie, bangers and mash, an apple roly-poly, and a lemon mini vicky (Victoria sponge cake). Everything was delicious and exactly what we wanted, cooked to perfection with thought and care. My boyfriend said it reminded him of his mums cooking. I honestly dont know a higher compliment than that! Side note: attached is a small shop selling British staples including candies, biscuits, teas and such. Worth a visit! Side side note: the bathroom is actually a Doctor Who shrine, complete with Dalek cardboard cutout and pictures of every Doctor and most companions. Definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend checking out British Bites for a taste of the UK without the transatlantic flight.

Delightful Brit food shop just East of downtown Puyallup. They serve High Tea. For February theyre featuring a special Chocolate High Tea set of Tiers. Call 48 hours in advance to reserve this treat! You can find items for home - candies (Cadbury, Aero, etc.), biscuits, crisps (Monster Munch), golden syrup, custard, pasties, etc. A casual tea room is in operation with a delicious list of hot foods (Bangers & Mash, Pasties, Welsh Rarebit, etc) and tea sandwiches of every sort - Deviled Egg & Tomato, Coronation Chicken, Cucumber, etc. If you cant stay, they have a yummy pastry case with Victoria Sponge, Bread Pudding, Scones, etc...you really cannot go wrong here!!

Such an unexpected and delightful restaurant and store in Puyallup. Never really had English cuisine at a restaurant - had a Shepards pie thing with peas and a pot of tea. Also ordered a dessert and during so, a couple of the ladies were passing out samples of other desserts. Everything was super yum. The ladies working there were engaging and helpful. Would love to go back and do a tea party with friends - too bad this is a ways away from everyone!

The shop deserves a firm four-stars... but the restaurant isnt worth two. So I split the diff. The tea was good and the shop has things youd be hard pressed to find elsewhere, but the sandwiches were small and disappointing. ONE deli-slice of ham is NOT a ham sandwich.

Bakery items are subpar considering the price and taste. Tea was standard and food was reheated (half ice cold, half steaming hot). For the price, very unimpressed. Have a decent collection of food for ex pats but pretty expensive compared to online retailers.

Expensive, poor service : you are either ignored or they are at your table every 5 minutes. A small cup of soup and a roll that was microwaved so long it was like a rock, for 10 bucks. When I questioned the roll they said they "reheat leftover rolls".

Cute place, tea service is very good but dont expect ice in your beverage. The food is very "british" - i dont like their shepherds pie or bangers and mash but the sausage rolls are fantastic. The grocerette is novel but expensive like the food.

We go in there once a month. Fun themes, lunch items as well as baked goods, tasty teas and even a high tea. You can buy British groceries too. They went out of their way to do a vegetarian high tea.

All things british from tea to chutney.... a nice stop for lunch and a bit of the familiar for the Anglophile in us all! Good selection of sweets and assorted treats from England and area.
