So I have been coming here for several years. It seems this place is changing, and I do not like the changes. For the longest time they had a couple of older Asian gentlemen cooking in the kitchen and I always enjoyed the food and thought "they know what they are doing". I have not seen them lately and the food has changed somewhat. Not that tasty anymore. One of my staples to order here is the Pad Thai with veggies and tofu. On a whole plate of Pad Thai they include about 5 small pieces of tofu. I asked our server and was told that they actually count the amount of tofu pieces. Not impressed with that. Also, there has always been a very nice Hispanic gentleman who was constantly refilling drinks. He seems to be gone, as I have not seen him in a long time. Overall I feel that this is an OK place to dine in, but with the recent changes and the quite honestly laughable amount of protein they include in their noodle dishes there are much better options available. I hope management reconsiders and returns their service and food to what it used to be.

So disappointing. We have ordered here for a few years, always quick service and decent food. Ordered tonight online, waited an hour, no food. We called and they said they had no record of our order, when we gave them the order number they found it and said we only ordered soup so it was auto cancelled with no notifications to us, this was incorrect and the website order showed everything we ordered. We explained and re ordered, to which we were then told the prices had increased and were charged an additional $3 for our food, we waited another hour. The food finally showed up at 9:50. It was so awful we pitched it and went out because we would rather eat McDonalds over this. My salmon was so over cooked I had to eat a few bites to figure out if it was chicken or salmon. Like I said we had been ordering here for a few years and have been satisfied but it only took this horrible experience for me to turn to Rice Pot for future Asian cuisine ordering.

Pan Asian (Pan Acean as spelt on their sign) is a wonderful place to eat at. The atmosphere is traditional and food is excellent. The employees are very prompt to service your needs and you wont have to worry about an empty glass. I first ate here when I moved to the Metroplex back in January. It was great then and its still as good as it was then now. Everything you order, except soup since I cant see them doing this) is cooked to order. When it comes out of the kitchen, its hot and oh so tasty. One thing most people wonder about is the price. Pan Asian is priced reasonably so, it isnt too harsh on the wallet or card. On average you can expect to spend about 12 dollars a person if you eat there without a tip. (Thats your drink and entrée. Add about 6 more for an appetizer) Overall, this place is well worth it if you are visiting the Metroplex or just dont want to cook. I would highly recommend this place to anyone so just eat and enjoy!

Pan Acean delivers at superior Chinese cuisine. I wrote this review with the restruants goal to the consumer in mind. Food, 5 stars. The temperature, flavor, texture, and proportion size was exceptional. The price was an average around $9, but well worth every penny. Service, 5 stars. I was greeted as I entered, until I left as sir. My waiter was curtious and kind, who delivered my meal in less than 10 minutes following my order. Atmosphere, 5 stars. The music is upbeat jazzy type, but not too loud and over-powering to cause other patrons to talk over the music creating a noisy atmosphere. The design and feel pull you into the experience flawlessly, with a elegant asian decor. I would highly recommend Pan Acean to anyone seeking a quality Asian dining experience.

I go here for the Jumbon. Its spicy, loaded with seafood and somewhat of a seasonal dish - perfect to take the chill off a cold day. The service has always been good, however, I often go with a medium to large group (6-12 adults) and there have been times where the service has been appropriately slower due to this size but not to a point where it affected my experience. Speaking of, the overall experience has always been good but Ive never been one to key in on the atmosphere. There are just too many good restaurants out there that focus on the food rather than the imported mahogany. With that being said the atmosphere has never kept me away from PanAcean. One day I will venture out and try other dishes that my friends and family have said were tasty.

I wouldnt bother with this place. Food is generally okay with large portion. If you are hungry, itd be okay. Regarding the service, the place is run without an managemtn. So, you will see the staff playing with phone without waiting customers and leave you completely alone from time to time. I had an issue on the last visit. When I called for management, the waitress said they have no management working at the site and they wont call the management service and they wouldnt do anything for the problem they caused. its quite a surprise they run the place like that. So be careful with this place if you want to try. if you go, just hope for luck that you wont have any issue. If you have any issue, I can guarantee you are done with this place.

I dont know what happened to this place. It used to be good, and we never had problems with service before. We sat there for nearly 10 mins before anyone came to our table and brought us water. Then it took another 5 mins for someone to take our order...then we sat there for another good 25 mins and nothing ever came out, not even our appetizer! We sat there watching couples who came in AFTER us get their water and appetizers right away. I finally staged a walkout, let the host know how I felt and left the place. I will NOT be going back there again. I would have understood had they been very busy and short on staff, but that was NOT that case. Pan Acean, I hope you read this and realize how much you guys are starting to lose customers!

My wife and I are new to TX from NYC and felt like Japanese food...this was not the place to get it. Despite the great decor and friendly staff(even though our waitress neglected to give us utensils even after the apps arrived) the duck I ordered was extremely dry, cold and unappealing. My wifes chicken terriyaki was over sauced and also seemed to get cold fast. The best part of the dinner was the fried pork dumplings and the kimchi appetizers. The prices are average our total meal w/ drinks came to about $40 (not worth it at all but my opinion).

Ive been coming to Pan Acean for years and it WAS a great value and delicious food with excellent service. Ive been 4 times this past month and got TERRIBLE service, bland food (you CAN tell when they use day-old chicken to cut corners) in their Spring rolls and Coconut Thai stir fry. The water guy wasnt even around to refill our glasses. Management rethink the quality changes AND I am very sad that I cannot count on delicious food, and service at this venue anymore.
