Been here a couple of times, all on 55 cent wing Tuesdays. Ive always somehow ordered the grossest wing flavors on the menu but finally got my order right and can safely say that this is one of the better wing places in SD. Ambience: very crowded, but at least its not as dirty as Bubs. Its also very small meaning youll have to wait a while. Good amount of Tvs and lots of sports memorabilia. But home of the ravens? Random and gross. Nobody likes the ravens. I accidentally drafted Ray Rice in the first round of fantasy last year and he sucked. We went around 9 and waited hella long like half an hour. By the time we left it was already 11. If youre looking for a wings and beer place looking to get tipsy then this is the place for you, but we just wanted wings so sucks for us. Ninja: amazing. My girlfriend and I shared 10 of these and couldnt be happier. A little bit spicy but a lot bit yummy. 5/5 PMP warrior wings: to me tasted like a spicier version of the ninja, but still good. Made me sweat and we had to ask a couple times for a decent supply of napkins. 4/5 Garlic parm: a classic flavor. I think in the past these arent that good when we ordered then but today was perfectly crispy and cheesy. 4/5 Dirty ranch is not that great and do not order the enchilada wings. They were super gross and made me sad when I ordered it last time as they wasted my precious tummy real estate. Great place to drink and get wings if you have the time.

Let me start by saying I visited this place twice during my vacation. The first time we went was because it was down the street from our hotel. I ordered the fish and chips. The waitress informed me that the fish was frozen but I still had it anyway bc I was craving. It was decent, what I expected being frozen. The fries were delicious. My girlfriend had a burger and mac and cheese. She got sick an hour later. She suspects from the mac and cheese. Our next visit was a couple days later on a Tuesday. We went specifically for the half off wings. We had four flavors. The first was buffalo. They were decent, no spice and were dry. The second was sweet chili. These were very good and had lots of flavor. The third were honey hot. Not hot and very little honey flavor. And our fourth selection was jerk. We both hadnt had it before and wanted to try something different. Not for us. We ordered 30 total bc we wanted to try different flavors and enjoy the flavors we usually like. We made it through 23 of them and asked for a to go box. We were informed they dont give them for the "half off wings" And that we couldnt take them with us. I then noticed that a disclaimer is posted on a separate menu. I had to force myself to finish the wings that I paid for but couldnt take with me or theyd just trash them. Sounds like a waste of money and food to me.

First time here, dropped in at around 11:30am only about 5 tables full and one server taking order and working the bar. All things considered she did a great job and we never waited too long for anything. About an hour in and the place really picked up, luckily more staff showed up since there was a big crowd for he college games. Tons of TVs to watch the games and plenty of room even when the place was full. The food was seriously so good, I had the dirty bird chicken sandwich and the parmesan garlic tots and they were great, loved the flavor. My friend had the sliders and Mac and cheese which she really enjoyed. We both had bloody marys which were very tasty. Im not in the area a lot but I would make a special trip for the food.

These are my favorite wings in San Diego and lucky for me right on Mission Blvd. within walking distance from just about anywhere in PB. They have something like 30 flavors of wings and some unique flavs I havent seen other places - like General Tsos (east cost chinese food fav) - and awesome classics of their own like Dirty Ranch or Honey Hot (that one is so good). If anyone ever visits me that likes wings we go to Dirty Birds no questions asked! Their Beer selection has something for everyone on draft usually, too, which is of course required protocol for a good sesh. In my experience they dont card at the door until around 8 or 9 depending on the night FYI so you can bring the whole fam if its earlyish still.

The pic above is the College location. Original PB is much smaller FYI. Best wings in town. Over 30 flavor options (Seoul Wing one of my favorites). They have other stuff but theyre known for their wings. Awesome staff. Long waits for groups. Daily happy hour half off wings and pitchers 3-6pm cant be beat (and all day hh Tuesday is their most popular night). 10 wings and Goose Island IPA pitcher for under $20. I recommend having someone get there before 6 to grab a table and put orders in. Great for watching sports. Hence why lots of locals load up on hh pitchers and stay for whole games. I havent checked out the College or Liberty Station locations yet but same specials apply and probably more seating available.

Review for Monday special (all you can eat wings, $13.99). Dont go with a large party. Insisted that we wait for a group to leave at some tables but refused to seat us at smaller tables bypassing our group in favor of smaller parties. At some point, we had to delegate and claim a table before snatching another after a group left. We would have sat and waited for 3 hours, otherwise, for the other party to leave. Wings are otherwise - hands down - very good! You do have to order the same flavor between each round though. A bit annoying. First round is 10 wings plus your choice of tots or fries. Youre basically full after that. Hard to even start on second round of 5 wings (no tots/ fries included on 2nd).

Pretty long wait on a Tuesday night! But worth the deals. 1/2 off pitchers and 1/2 off wings! Probably some of the most well cooked wings Ive had in the area, fried to a crisp. The last place Id been to was Bubs whose wings were are grilled and often burnt. I suggest the garlic parm wings (I prefer drier wings here). The fries were over-hyped, but good. Service was spot on and the waitress gave us a free pitcher because they werent able to top one off before the keg dried. My only complaint is the lack of chairs; they allow large groups in that take chairs from other tables (we did this). Standing isnt too big a deal, but it would be nice if they had some extra chairs handy. Will return for wings!

Ive been here several times. Like most places in Pacific Beach, the food and drinks are overpriced and the service is mediocre. I would only go to this place if two conditions are met. One, I would only go during their specials. For example, they have all-you-can-eat wings on Tuesdays. There are several other drink and meal specials, so make sure you know what you are going for. And secondly, there must be a good sports event. Dirty Birds have several TV mounted around the restaurants. Get there early! If you come with more than 4 people, expect to not sit together. And if you arrive during a big game night after 8 pm, youll probably be standing for most of the night.
