I would rank this a zero if I could. My 14 year old grandson visited the Santee store at 4:30 PM; he was by himself after visiting the mall where the restaurant is located. He was dressed nicely, was respectful, and was spending his own money to buy his meal. He went to the host who led him to his table located near a television set. He ordered his meal and while quietly minding his own business, the general manager of the store (Jim) approached my grandson and in a very intimidating and condescending way, accused him of seating himself and told him "he could move or he could leave". My grandson was surprised and scared, but politely told the manager that he in fact did NOT seat himself, and pointed out the waitress that seated him. The manager again, continuing to be intimidating, told my grandson he had to move or leave. My grandson got up and the waitress apologetically moved him to a tiny table in the back, where he could not see the screen at all. The manager then sat a larger party at my grandsons table (at no time did the manager tell my grandson that he needed the table for a larger party). Upset and confused, my grandson paid for his meal and left. He got home and relayed his experience to his mother (my daughter); she went to the store and spoke to the manager (Jim) in person; he was rude and angry to my daughter, telling her they needed the table for other customers. We are appalled that a manager would treat a young adult or his mother in this manner. He took advantage of my grandsons age, and was abusive and unfit to represent Buffalo Wild Wings. Even worse, the manager gave my daughter a $15.00 gift card to pay for my grandsons meal; my grandson is visiting with us this past week in CT, and when he went to use the gift card, it was INVALID! Talk about adding insult to injury, shame on this manager and this restaurant! I would think twice about visiting the Santee store, and never send your young adults on their own unless they replace this person who calls himself a "manager"

My son and I were there for his 19th birthday and from the start it was a nightmare. 1. We ordered drinks, a beer for me and a water for my son. The waitress returned within a couple of minutes with my beer and said she would return with my sons water. After about 15 minutes another server arrived with the appetizers, at that point I asked for the water for my son. She returned in less than a minute with his water. 2. Another 20 minutes later our waitress returned. She never said anything about my sons water or to apologize for her absence for so long. She asked what we would like and asked for a small combination plate boneless, Spicy Garlic with frys. After a long discussion about what the menu is saying, she left. At this point, I asked my son if I was reading on the menu is what I was reading and he agreed that it says what is says and we could not understand why were having such a debate with the waitress about my order. Also, I ordered ranch with my order as well. 3. She returns 20 minutes later with our order. At first, I asked her for napkins where she looked at me like I was crazy. Really, napkins at a wings restaurant I thought to myself! She left momentarily to get napkins that I had to convince her that we needed! As well as the ranch sauce that I asked for my wings when we placed our order! So after looking at the order and biting the Tabasco wings, they contained bones which is not what I ordered When she returned and I showed her the bones and asked her what is going on when I ordered boneless. She pointed at the basket label that said "Boneless" with an attitude, took the basket back.......At that point, I had enough......... 4. I informed management about what had occurred. They responded immediately. Assigned a competent waitress who gave great service and did not charge for the meal. OBTW. The Spicy Garlic wings tasted like Tabasco sauce and I would not recommend them at all.

Weve been to this specific buffalo wild wings a number of times. Every time has been pleasant with good food, service, and atmosphere. Except for the last time I went, and sadly the last time Ill ever go. This wasnt because the service or the food was bad but because of the manager Scott. He was very rude to say the least. Out party had two coupons that allowed a free small snack size wings, per person in a visit. No purchase necessary. In previous visits to this location we have used one coupon per person, while purchasing other food and beverages because we like the service (this location is 30 minutes out of our local town, which has a bdubs) This time Scott, who later acknowledged he was the one who authorized this, decided different. Our waitress said the manager would not allow us to use both coupons, which would not have been a problem for us. We went up to the front desk to ask why this time was different. The first thing Scott said was "you cant just come and get free food" Then we explained we didnt only get the coupons we were paying for appetizers and drinks too. Then he ripped the coupon out of my hand and said "fine. We are going to have to charge you the original amount and then do the refund, then charge the discounted price again." We said this was fine then he asked us "Are you sure? It will take 3-5 business days. Its Friday so dont call me on Wednesday asking for your money." We said we understood so he went to do the refund. In the end we didnt get charged twice, only the discounted price from the coupons. And we would have been fine paying for the extra wings. We just wanted an explanation. It was a long hassle that Scott obviously didnt want to deal with it.

Often when I see reviews that claim it took an unusual amount of time for something mundane, I take it with a grain of salt. This time, however, it took the non-alcoholic member of our party half of an hour to get iced tea. Exactly. We checked. The fact that our server had "Certified Trainer" engraved under her name is the sole reason I will never go into a BWW again. There was no communication to speak of. The reason Buffalo Wild Wings doesnt have the prices of most of their alcoholic beverages listed is because the menu is designed by Snidely Whiplash to be as cartoonishly evil as possible. Their happy hour takes 1.50 off of the price. But what they dont tell you is that the drinks the happy hour is discounting are three to four dollars more expensive than the sports bar down the street. Nine dollars for a Ballast Point Sculpin? Also, my "loaded potato skins" were meekly peppered with pico and had 4oz of stadium nacho cheese accidentally snotted on one half of the plate. Then, when happy hour was over and we could safely excuse our abuse as the restaurant "having a rush," a friend shows up and orders wings and a beer. Clearly, Buffalo Wild Wings wasnt prepared for a buffalo wing order. It took 25 minutes to get wings with the restaurant sitting pretty at 1/3rd capacity. I work at a restaurant, which is why Im so offended by the farce I just experienced. I wanted to give a business my money in exchange for beer and cable access to watch my team get slaughtered in a playoff game. Instead, I gave a business money to waste an unreasonable amount of my time and give me a sketched caricature of a product. At least I got the cable.
