Took my family here on a hunch knowing it was close to my house and reservations at "Jam" were over an hour long. This place is amazing! Unlike most other brunch places we were seated withing minutes. The waitress was courteous and professional. Took our drinking order and made each loose leaf tea herself. The food was delicious and the portions just right. Scene was very relaxed. I would highly recommend this spot!

Lovely little French restaurant in the Wildwood section of East Portland. We had the poisson du jour, which was locally caught albacore tuna, prepared medium rare, served with a veggie medley. Also, the duck confit, served with garlic-roasted diced potatoes and a side salad. Finished with creme brulee. The whole meal was excellent, the service was very attentive, and the atmosphere was intimate and friendly.

We went to try lunch after reading some excellent reviews online. The restaurant was empty and we waited for the food for more than 30 minutes. It was served nicely but Im sorry to say, that the food didnt taste good – the chicken was tough and tasteless, the quiche was just tasteless – all in all it was very far from a good French food (as Woodstock is far from Paris, or Provence).

Supreme excellence! Fun and delicious. The talented and charming French owner/chef mentioned that much of our local ingredients are similar to those he was familiar with in France. So we get to both eat local and think global at Bergerac! I love to support our small businesses, and Bergerac hits the spot! Very reasonably priced, extremely fabulous food.

We came at an odd time (mid-afternoon) so were lucky enough to be served by the (very French) chef himself. I loved this place. The atmosphere is casual upscale, just like he told us theyre aiming to make the food: really delicious French food at affordable bistro prices. The menu was interesting and unexpected - interesting drinks too!

So elegant. We love this place. Lovely food, great service, nice ambiance. If you do not normally venture further than Ducks or Ate-Oh-Ate, make the effort to go a little further down the block to Bergerac and you will not be disappointed. :)

Hit and miss. Food is really good and reasonably priced. Kitchen is small and not able to keep up with a full dining room. Twice weve waited over an hour for food after ordering. Recommend if not busy but expect a long wait if crowded.
