We tried this restaurant at the beginning of march, and weve been there 3 times since... it is just that amazing. The food is authentic and delicious, the waiters are attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is very nice, the decor in the restaurant comes from mexico, so that is authentic as well. In my opinion the quality is higher than at Cancuns or El Patio. The meals are very tasty, and affordable. My husband and I each had a dinner item and sodas and we paid less than 20 dollars, and there was enough food that we could have taken some home. We went there on a Friday night and it was packed so be prepared for that. Also, the menu is similar to El Mezcal (in stevens pt, wausau, marshfield I think), so if you like their food you will love Azul Tequila. Stop reading and go already :D you wont regret it.

If you want Fast Friendly Service with hot waiters.. this is the place to go. Especially if you like Mexican Food. I went here with my daughter, her boyfriend and her boyfriends family. I thought it was going to be a small get together it ended up being a large group of us eating out. It was delightful. The cost of 5 of us to eat was just under $50. I paid for us. I am not sure what the other 9 people paid. Yeah.. they got a good size tip. The food was hot and fresh. The waiters were hot and well dont know if they were fresh, but very pleasant. The Atmosphere was nice. A little cramped at first but once we sat down everyone was so friendly. Will love to go back soon.

Very disappointed!!! Went with a friend for lunch and they gave us both water with lemon which we asked for to drink. After drinking about half my cup I noticed gum or something stuck inside the bottom of the cup. I told the waiter and he just looked at me, left, and than brought me a new water. Im not looking for anything special, but atleast an apology or something. Its disgusting and Im still sick to my stomach hours later. The food was ok, nothing special, but no complaints. Very disappointed in cleanliness as far as that cup, and very dissappinted in the way they handled the situation

Mostly Hot Table Mexican. In the former Pondorosa Building, but redone in the current bright and glossy mexican decor - its nice. Service is good, quick and professional. Much of the food is "hot table" mexican - you order, they slap the meat into the tortilla/shell, garnish and serve. Skip anything with ground beef. However, the menu is extensive, and you can order some more esoteric things that are better. Full bar, decent selection of mexican beer. Pretty cheap, which is nice. I will go back, but it is not my favorite in town.

This is a typical Mexican-American restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. Food wise, it is average from what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. Typical meat selections of chicken and ground beef with typical dishes like enchiladas, tacos, burritos, etc.Their bar selection is pretty nice, plenty of domestic and import beers to choose from. Overall, I rate this a tad bit higher than Cancun, because of the nicer atmosphere, but food quality is the same.

They usually have great, fresh food, and its usually pretty quick. I have had a couple bad experiences, but they were do to choices I made and ended up not liking them. The service is usually fantastic, however I have had a couple bad apples. Most are extremely polite and very helpful with menu questions. Some do have strong accents and can be a little difficult to understand.

My wife and I stopped in for the first time and didnt know what to expect other than a friend recommended we do. Great recommendation! We had the Fajitas for two and it was very good. There was enough food to feed four people as we had plenty to take home for another meal. Well definitely be adding this place to our rotation of places to eat in Eau Claire.

Im from Arizona and obviously know what Mexican food should taste like. "My mom would home cook meals every day". This place is the closest to authentic Mexican food that you will find without travelling to the southwest. Great prices, service and atmosphere. Two for one Margaritas Sunday thru Thursday, Cant beat that! Very Authentic.

We love Azul! We always order the chicken chimis and they are great! The prices are good, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is very fun. I love the tall benches in their booths, it is great for business meetings. It gives you more of a private feel while you are eating. LOVE IT...LOVE IT...LOVE IT!

It was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences Ive ever had. I ordered chicken but got beef. Not only was everyones food slow to come out but it was all barely warm. Also, none of the beef was cooked. Im never going back, especially there are such better options nearby such as Tacos Juanita.

Have been there 3 times now, each time appeared that the place was packed. Got seat immediately, service has been excellent each time. Food is always hot and tasty! Prices are very reasonable. If youve not checked out it out, I highly recommend going!

Azul Tequila is a great place to feel like part of the FIESTA! An appetizer of chips and salsa will leave your mouth watering for delicious Mexican cuisine. I rarely stray from the sizzling fajitas or smothered enchiladas!

Great food and service! The food is delicious!!! I get the fajitas and have never been let down. Servers are respectful and polite. You may have to ask for more attention if you need it because they give you your space.
