In such a fine place, I am reduced to getting their damn burger too often... but now I have branched out and explored a lot of the menu. Everything is wonderful - the steak tartare is something I get every night we eat there. That is unavoidable. Its also amazing to walk out of one of the best restaurants in the bay area - (food, service, atmosphere, and location) - and have a check that seems like you were at any moderately priced place. Whats more, its like stepping into the Cote Dazur. We often stand up paddle board at the little beach (also the best in Marin) after brunch. Its a wonderful way to start a weekend day. This place is divine, and easily in my top 3 or Marin. Not sure what my others are... The Buckeye? New Morning? This is truly one of the top places in the bay. If my opinion doesnt count, at least the Bohemian thinks its Best Outdoor Dining in the North bay... which is saying a lot. This is the type of concept place where an innovative and thoughtful F&B gent reinvented an area, and became a bastion of hope and help to locals with guests, hotels with recommendations, and simple, accessible, classy fair without the pretension in a groovy, fun, bistro environment. think of it as a French Sams with food that is actually good and edible.

A pretty nice brunch place inside an old garage on a marina. You can get a nice view of the marina/Sausalito. First off, parking in the area is kinda confusing. The environment inside is pretty hectic and loud. The crowd on a Sunday was an interesting mix of couples drunk from drinking too many mimosas, families with crying babies, and random old and young people that normally wouldnt go out with each other. Needless to say, this isnt the best environment for a romantic brunch or a place to have a conversation. The food is pretty decent for brunch. I ordered a croque madame and it was cooked well and well-portioned. My friend got duck confit and it was very savory. The food was okay and the service was kinda crazy only because the crowd was crazy. I think maybe this is a good venue for sunset when its a nice day. Otherwise, nothing too special about this brunch place besides the fact that its in Sausalito.

The absolute WORST Experience!!! The maître d was beyond "rude and obnoxious ". We came for a nice brunch; the maître said it would be a short wait. After 30 mins, we went up twice -,both times we were told we would be next. Both times he gave the table of 4 away. Instead of apologizing - he was "belligerent" to my wife and daughters! Totally inexcuseable!, The restaurant manager and The bartender came and apologize! But that only made

What a nice French cuisine restaurant ! The food is great with a bistro style menu, the croque monsieur is a great choice and the tarte tatin is perfect for desert-stomach filling. The staff is competent and the garage transformed into a restaurant gives a nice and cosy ambiance. This place has its own valley parking and the wait isnt too bad (~20 minutes for a party of two on a sunny Sunday lunch).

View was five stars. Food was three. We had the fried chick pea sticks that resembled stacked Lincoln logs and frankly tasted just as well. Also had the Niçoise sandwich which was just okay. Bathroom is around the side of the outside of the building. You have to get the key which is attached to a large red mixing spoon. This was more reminiscent of a gas station than an upscale restaurant. Weird.

The food is very good! Try the duck omelet, poached eggs and the croque madame. They are delicious and made with very high quality ingredients. The service isnt good either. Our waitress was very disorganized and hurried; and the place wasnt even full. I was trying to ask her if she had some milk alternatives for a latte, she didnt let me finish and ran to the kitchen to place the order.

A bit off the beaten path but worth the walk from the ferry station if you dont have a car. Tasty French-inspired food that is refreshingly different from the typical fried-foods-at-the-dock fare that places like this normally have. Beer and wine selection is decent. The place was super busy when we were there and it was overtaxing the service, but they held up pretty well considering.

Went to this place for lunch. Food was bland and service was terrible. The hostess was very rude and rolled her eyes at us when we asked where the restroom was. Ourwaitress never spoke to us after we go our food. Our favorite part was the side dish- roasted potatoes- which came with the salmon eggs Benedict. We had to flag down a different server to take our check.

This place has such a nice view if you sit on the outside! They also have a pretty cute theme; everyone here dresses a bit like a mechanic! I had the croque madame, and it was pretty damn good, although it couldve used more ham. I ordered coffee expecting it to be the usual unlimited coffee sludge, but it was actually a good cup. I hope to come again in the future.

We cycled over the Golden Gate Bridge & visited Sausalito. I would recommend La Garage, it is a proper french restaurant right on the marina. While we ate we could take in the beautiful views of the marina & Sausalito. Their food is delicious & reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly & accommodating to dietary requirements.

Had their brunch at 11am on a Saturday. No wait, but the restaurant filed up very quickly. We ordered a croque monsieur, sweet plate, and the buckwheat crepes. All of which was delicious If the restaurant would hire a back server to support the hostess/server, everything would go quicker and smother. Very good experience.

Absolutely the worst service possible. The waiter forgot my order after bringing the mussels. I waited for over a half hour as he had disappeared. By the time I caught his eye, I cancelled my entrée order and left. I wouldnt go back if I was starving to death! He was totally indifferent about his mistake!

This is a proper french restaurant in Sausalito on the opposite side of the bay to San Francisco. Excellent french food and a view of the bay, with some interesting boat houses. Although they didnt have much in the way of vegan food they were very accommodating and made a vegan lunch for me.

Le Garage is the Angelsmith commissary. We eat lunch here frequently and they always deliver. The hamburger is outstanding and Ive never had a bad soup there. Top notch. Location is great right on the docks with the gorgeous sailboats bobbing in the water and Tiburon in the distance.

A very cool spot in quite a random location off the normal grid in Sausalito. The lamb omelette is very good but the french toast is spectacular, try it with some of their home made jam. The coffee is not as good as I would like but its a really nice place and the staff are great.

Hands down the best restaurant in Sausalito. Its genuinely French and one of the few places Ive been in the US that makes me think of restaurants in France. Love the bread, and basically order anything thats on special. This is a must-visit place if youre ever in town.
