Inviting South Tampa restaurant addition, taking over the space once occupied by Subway. The owners did a nice job on the interior remodel, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is authentic Indian cuisine and the menu is divided by protein (chicken, lamb, sea food) along with vegetarian dishes and choices between accompanying sauces including a great curry. With their recent alcohol license, the beer and wine selection is very limited. Service is snappy and attentive and prices lean to the high side given the portion size and compared to other restaurants in the neighborhood.

Late night take out after dance class, I couldnt wait to stop in to try this new Indian restaurant near my home. I would give it six stars if I could! Very friendly, helpful staff (I think the owner may have helped me with my order) and food - while very fresh - did not take forever to prepare. Chicken Tika with a beautifully spiced rice, raita with lovely cumin flavor and naan. There is plenty here for 3 meals for me - if only I could control myself but its so delicious it will probably only be 2! Big thumbs up. If you love Indian food I highly recommend.

Not many vegetarian options available. The food does not taste good. The only vegetarian dish that I was interested in from the online menu, was not available in the restaurant. Big let down for Indian vegetarians. Paneer tikka was burnt, paneer butter masala was too tangy, tanduri roti also burnt. Dimly lit ambience does not do any good for the mood either. To top it all the prices are very high compared to better Indian restaurants of Tampa. I have also tried dal tadka, soup and Manchurian; all pretty disappointing. Dont think I will visit again.

Decent place, clean and well decorated ambience. Food is really good specially if one is planning to eat Indian Non vegetarian food. Although restaurant space is not too big but still I like it. I have given a 3 stars because I saw Faluda kulfi in their menu and was excited to eat it but unfortunately they were out of stuff for this dessert. The manager did apologize and removed it from our bill . But the main course food is good ! Value for money!

Amazing Indian cuisine! The proprietor was very active in ensuring we had a good experience and engaged all tables in a full dining room multiple times throughout the course of our meal. The food tasted freshly made and the herbs and spices...In particular mint...Outstanding. The fruit naan was a surprise treat. The curry and chicken vindaloo were fantastic! A great addition to the neighborhood! Cannot wait to return and try new fare!

One of the best Indian restaurants that I have been to. The food was superb. Beyond what I have come to expect in the United States when it comes to Indian cuisine. True, authentic Indian food. The service was fast and friendly and the recommendations were wonderful. The accommodations are clean, relaxing and comfortable. I look forward to introducing all my friends and family to Flames!

What an excellent place to visit! Had an excellent dinner with my family yesterday. The food was authentic and the Indian spices rendered a unique flavor to all the dishes that we ordered. This is going to be one of my favorite restaurants. The service was impeccable and the staff was such friendly. Keep it up guys...next time Im coming with my office staff!

The first and only time we went there the vindaloo was literally a vinegar soup, the chicken korma was flavorless and overloaded w salt. Maybe theyve gotten better, but I suspect based on some of these glowing reviews that some folks may not know the difference between good indian and a place thats nearby and convienent. It was also very expensive.

Very poor service and terrible food. Food tasted bland and dry and was served cold. We stopped on our way back from beach and did not enjoy the dinner. They had no clue to offer naan/bread until we asked. Very disappointed with the food and we walked out in 10 minutes as it tasted awful and did not want to fall sick!

One of the best restaurants in Tampa , Food and Ambience is excellent with distinctive and exquisite tastes to please your palate! The staff is extremely cordial, professional, and considerate. There are dozens of delicious Non Veg & vegetarian options. My favourite has always been their mouthwatering biryani

I have ordered the same food a few times and the consistency of flavor is not good. One time I got butter chicken and it was the best Ive ever had. It has not tasted the same since and tonight it was bland, almost like something was left out. I will give it one more chance before I go back to Indias grill.

RIP OFF ALERT!!!! The chicken was old and had a funny smell to it. Asked to speak with the manager (Subash) and he was the most ungrateful and disrespectful person Ive come across. If you intend to eat stale garbage then this is the spot. AVOID IF YOU CAN.

Had a great birthday dinner here last weekend. Atmosphere is modern and cozy. The food and service were amazing! Great family environment yet also classy. They even brought out a complimentary dessert for my birthday. 10/10 would recommend, thanks Flames!

Food was ok. Way over priced. Just because youre located in Palma Ceia, doesnt mean all your customers are willing to pay too much. Vindaloo and soup, $21 and change. Great to see Indian restaurant in the neighborhood, too bad it wont last..

Had better Indian food around. Extremely over priced for the quality they give. Feel bad people dont know what is authentic Indian food and just settle for what is available. Not going back again!! Meal for 2 costed $50 plus. Not worth!!

Super-friendly and helpful server. The food tastes much richer than other Indian cuisine in town. Quick service without the feeling of being rushed. Nice atmosphere, good for casual nights or special occassions. Highly recommend.
