I absolutely love JJs, I used to get my fix weekly. Lol, however Ive moved since I first started going there and its very much so out of the way now. Now, I go every so often. I love their catfish, oh and the sour pickles. I love me some pickles, haha. Theyve always had pretty horrible customer service for the two years Ive been coming here and sometimes it deters me and my boyfriend from going there at times. Other than that, I love them.

;So far we tried oysters, chicKen breast, chicken strips, red beans and rice, rice and gravy and mushrooms. Large portions. Chicken kind of bland wlthout sauces. Red beans and rice were good with pieces of Ham hock. Tried to get seafood gumbo but they were out. Still want to try catfish, shrimp, cod, chicken legs, thighes, okra etc. French fries were not hot.

Food was amazing! Ordered Calamari and Red Snapper. Crispy, without a lot of grease. Good Fries! Tried the fried Okra and Collard Greens.They were superb as well! I would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking for good fried seafood and comfort food!

One of Sacramento hidden gems! If you like fried fish, this is the place to go. Catfish, Perch, Buffalo & Red Snapper and others. Also, Scallops & Gumbo. They take call ins, and they also cater. Dont miss out if you love fish!

This place has some of my favorite comfort foods. Fried fish, Jumbalaya, Gumbo, Banana Pudding, Collard Greens, and Hush puppies. This is a weekly destination. I am happy it is back in business!

There is so much food! Quite expensive, but very reasonable. For those who dislike seafood, they have really good chicken and rich desserts, too.
