This is our favorite place in Calistoga - exceptional quality, lovely patio setting, with friendly service. Our brunch today was outstanding - delicious salmon and eggs (both clearly very fresh) on a scrumptious potato rosti (like hash browns), accompanied by a lovely passionfruit bellini. There was also a superb BLT - not like any youve ever had, starting with the excellent break (from Bouchon), heirloom tomatoes, perfect avocado, best bacon ever. You owe yourself a stop here!

Had a gorgeous dinner with my Fiancee on a Sunday evening. requested outdoor patio near a heater (via OpenTable reservstions) and was seated as requested. She had the Lobster Risotto, I had the wild mushroom Gnoncci. We were blown away by the detail and freshness that went into our meals! The service was absolutely perfect; it is well-staffed and they were very genuine. We will certainly be returning, even with living an hour away!

Service is a bit slow, but still one of my favorite spots in Calistoga. Creative and delicious dishes and cocktails. This visit I went and asked the bartender if he had our drinks 15 minutes after order ordering and not seeing the server that whole time. The bartender informs me that he hasnt had a drink order. Awesome Ramon the bartender then whips up the drinks in minutes and we request him as our waiter for the night.

Went to Evagelines on the recommendation of our hotel. What a great spot. The food and drinks were great. We wanted a light dinner so we had the cheese plate, chacutere plate, oyster clam chowder and crab cake. The plates had a great variety and enough for 4 to share. The crab cake was good size and all crab meat. The boys had the chowder and talked about it all evening and the next day. Very hearty and great flavor.

I came here for NYE dinner, and I could not believe the caliber of the food here for the price. I went with a group of 4 and we all enjoyed a three course menu, so naturally we all tried to order different dishes so we could taste everything. EVERY SINGLE DISH was so masterfully made and delicious. This place is totally worth a visit!

The food is wrong in another level, they forget part of the order, then when food arrives it looks like pet food. The risotto I ordered was a joke, look like a pea party. As well crazy expensive. It better to just go to a pet store and order cat food, it will have defenetly more meat than our dishes.

Outstanding service, great ambiance and the food is amazing. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars, just order the Lobser rissoto and thank me later. The depth of flavor in that dish is beyond words. Pork shoulder is great but the risotto is better. Winner winner lobster dinner.

Cocktails were delicious, and the food was tasty, but service was a touch on the meh side. Appetizers came super quick, but mains took forever. Im pretty sure our waiter spaced out on putting in our order. They did waive our corkage as compensation though...

I had the brazed pork sholder it was quite good. I walked in right when they opened for dinner and they were able to seat us in the terrace. My wife and I spent a little over $100 for an app, dinner, and some drinks.

Try and get a table outside if youre looking for a more romantic setting for dinner. The food was tasty yet some dishes were more American than French but I guess were in California so to be expected!

Dont waist your time, the good is shoooking, order risotto and got peas salad, order enter and they forgot about it, the pay for a chicken and 2 glasses of wine $100. What a joke. This place suck

Everything we had was excellent: fried pickles, duck confit, shrimp etouffee, and a mixed vegetables side. Indoor seating is a little tight, but theres outdoor seating as well. Well be back!

The endive salad and the gulf shrimp appetizers were excellent. Desserts were phenomenal too! A nice hybrid of a french cafe and a New Orleans Creole restaurant.
