I dont know of any other place like this! Sugar free (they use stevia) ice cream by the scoop that tastes this good has to be rare. They also have pints for sale and I know people will drive many miles out of their way to pick it up at the shop in North St. Paul. My co-op sells it, but there are even more flavors available at the actual Luv store. The owners are very knowledgeable about the products (maybe not a surprise, since they developed every recipe themselves) and are always willing to answer your questions, no matter how many times theyve heard them. They also offer coffee, tea and hot cocoa, and sometimes I get those instead of ice cream. It is winter in Minnesota as I write this, after all. There is also chocolate, hard candy and some baking supplies (all sugar-free) available for those who dont love Ive cream quite as much as I do. I could go on and on (the seasonal flavors alone would require paragraphs), but I cant imagine anyone has read this far anyway. If youre cutting down on sugar or just love ice cream or coffee, youll find something to like here!

I have recently made the decision to eliminate refined sugar from my diet. I was very pleased to be introduced to LUV ice cream and candies by my oldest and dearest friend. I have tried countess sugar free products, but was always left with an unpleasant taste in my mouth UNTIL I tried LUV products. Their ice cream is absolutely delicious!!! The Morning After Coffee is my absolute favorite and I highly recommend it! The Dogwood coffee they serve is beyond delicious, too! LUV owners Susanna and Ilya are committed to using only the finest all natural ingredients. I applaud their hard work and perseverance in opening LUV ice cream. They are offering many delicious, healthy alternatives to traditional sugar laden ice creams. Bravo, Susanna and Ilya! Well Done!

Ice cream and non-dairy nice cream are as good as one is going to find. Outstanding basic ingredients without added sugar. Several flavor options each day. On a recent visit tried the coconut nice cream and chose several options (including strawberries, blueberries, nuts and house-made chocolate) to add on. Along with a cup of strong, excellent coffee, an outstanding break. Pleasant colorful space. The owner allows a local artist to display their work for a month at a time, which both provides for the opportunity to enjoy interesting art while expanding the marketplace for the artist.

Great friendly service. Awesome sugar free organic ice cream with some non dairy (coconut milk) selections too. I was encouraged to try taste them all by the server before I made my decision on what to get. I had the coffee ice cream and added some (free) chocolate sprinkles. Maybe best of all is that it is just off the Gateway Trail! About 4 tables outside under shade trees and about 3 tables inside. Im looking forward to my next ride on the Gateway so I can treat myself again!

Luv this place - I have bought their products in the stores for a few years now, but there is nothing like being able to go to an actual ice cream parlor and getting me some ice cream I can eat. Coffee and Chocolate was super yummy....thanks so much for opening an ice cream shop!

It was the most lovely place ever! There were gorgeous flowers, the cashiers were kind and extremely helpful! It was everything that I could have ever dreamed and more! Definitely going to go there frequently now that I know that it exists!

The best ice cream Ive had in a long time. My husband and I took our 5 boys and everyone was a happy camper. Highly recommend stopping in and giving the coffee and chocolate ice cream. Yummy!!
