It was a quiet evening - about four or five parties were scattered around the diner when we entered. And it has the look and feel of a true diner - lots of chrome and plastic and bright colors. The waitress invited my family of six to seat ourselves wherever we were comfortable, and we did. We settled ourselves in the rear section of the L-shaped dining area, because thats where the biggest tables are. Partly due to the fact that we were out of sight, and partly due to the fact that there was only one waitress on duty, we didnt get a lot of service. I had to go up and get our menus, and I never got a refill on my coffee (and real diners *always* refill your coffee!). However, the service we did get was friendly, and we enjoyed our meal very much. Like any real diner, Patriots serves breakfast all day, and it so happened that we all felt like having breakfast for supper. Once our orders were placed, we did not have to wait long for our food, and the waitress did a good job of carrying multiple large plates on her arms. The portions are very big. My wife and eldest daughter each ordered an omelet, and each of these looked much bigger than the typical 3-egg omelet. My wifes Greek omelet had chunks of feta cheese and tomato and I am assured that it tasted very good. My daughters broccoli and cheese omelet was similarly good. I had the full stack of pancakes, which consisted of four very large and tasty buttermilk pancakes. My second daughter had bacon with her eggs, and the large strips appeared to be cooked to perfection. To make a long story short, we all enjoyed our meals and we all left with full bellies - and half of us were not able to finish what we ordered (I was in the other half). The prices were reasonable, too. If youre in the mood for diner food, I recommend Patriots very highly.

Decent food, wait staff seemed friendly, yet didnt bother me every 2 minutes. Which is the way I prefer. Cant stand someone asking if Im good every time I have my mouth full. Anyway Im from the south, not sure how its done up here but where Im from the bill and the tip are separated. I tip, then pay my bill . Left a 45% tip. Bill was like $8 and some change. Went to the register to pay dropped 2 fives feeling pretty good didnt do the math in my head but expect to get my change and go.thinking I probably left a bigger tip then most. Girl just stands there looking at me. Then kinda gives a little "you want change"? Like she couldnt belive it. She then went and whispered to the waitress that served me, they both walked over , looks on their faces, threw me a dollar and a have a nice day, be Damned if I was getting the change.Like I said I didnt do the math. Its just a dollar and change, had I known they were going to make me feel like a cheapskate Id have said no,thanks. Now I get to feel like a cheapskate as I walk away. I dont live here, just working down the road.odds are Ill never be here again, but if I do find myself here Ill be sure to eat somewhere else, have a nice day.

I love real diners, but more importantly love diners that are real good. The Patriots Diner indeed approaches near diner perfection by following the most important tenets of its genre: big portions of delicious comfort food at reasonable prices, efficient "What do you want, honey?" type of service, and a dining car atmosphere with chrome and neon, booths and counter seats. Every dining experience here has been terrific for us, but Id first go with the pancakes topped with apples, cinnamon and whipped cream, the chicken pot pie, fried clam strips, meat loaf, moussaka, pastichio and cream of turkey soup. The Patriots Diner is open round the clock and is a personal "go to" dining out spot, given its great food affordable prices and terrific service.

My family and I went here because of the great reviews they got here on google. MAN WERE WE DISAPPOINTED!!! They ONLY get one star because the wait staff was very friendly. Now for the negatives -the over medium eggs I ordered came out over easy to the point the whites were runny -the hash browns had NO FLAVOR they were sliced boiled potatoes with a small amount of onion and paprika for color, again NO flavor -the corned beef hash was ROTTEN -the pancakes were pre-mixed -the French Toast wasnt french toast it was simply grilled bread -the bacon was of the microwave (or at least super cheap) variety -the sausages were grey -and the ham seemed spoiled

I called over the phone and place my order with such an awesome waiter named Julie. Ive never met a server with so much patience. She explained in detail what each dish came with. She didnt mind me asking her to repeated , and I ask many times. She was just so pleasant . Julie handled my order so great ! She made sure my food would get home safety mess free. The soups were in a cup holder , all the sauces were in containers ,and she even put tinfoil in the to go containers .I didnt even dine in and I wish I did since the serve was so good .

Patriots is in the style of the old railroad car diners of the past century. Located next to a Holiday Inn Express, Patriots is now open 24 hours on Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night. Patriots has an agreement with the Holiday Inn to provide room service food. Not a gourmet place but handy for a quick lunch or on-the-fly meal. Closes at 8 on Sunday thru Wednesday evenings. Decor features posters of old time movies and vintage signs and posters, some from World War II. Excellent spacious parking.

Went there for last three years. So glad we found a place to eat that wasnt kfc. Only place close to venue we were at. Legends in concert with Leo Days at stadium theater Woonsocket Rhode Island . We go every Jan after show. But this will be our last year going since were moving to Florida . So we are going before show and after shoe. Daughter got Elvis Presley sandwich grilled peanut butter banana sandwich. Its not on menu but you can request it! They are awesome best food ever

Looking to get mediocre food and happy waitress to serve you? This is not the place. This place has food that marks breakfast at an all time great, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a kitchen that runs on nothing but pure motivation and amazingness. Want to make America great? Endorse in this little joint and start your day with a slice of pie!

Ive been 3 times. Always subpar to downright terrible service. Not to mention, the prices for the quality of food is outrageous. I wouldnt go back regardless of the Groupon deals. Go down the road to Dannys kitchen or Barbaras if you want a decent diner The food and service is better, and so are the prices.

Waitress and food was fantastic. Only reason I will not give it 5 stars is because the cook was lazy and upset he had to work. Even made it a point to the poor waitress that he has so many orders. Like she was holding back on the orders or something. Not a pleasure to see that kind of attitude
