Drive thru order. 6 cheeseburgers, 3 ketchup only, 3 ketchup and special sauce. I drive 15 minutes back to my place. Open bag, not one "cheeseburger" had cheese. Top it off, the burgers themselves were so over cooked, they were crunchy, crispy. Had to drive all the way back to get a refund. I was treated as if i was in the wrong, as if i should be acceptable of what i recieved. Then after the server reluctantly refunded my money, i asked to talk to a manager. None. In fact, not one kid was over 21. No sound leadership to ensure quality product or service? No... just kids running the place like a prison cafeteria! I will be taking my business to anywhere else and suggest everyone to do the same, at least until whoever owns this historic landmark, drive-in diner fixes the problem! To the server.... the customer is ALWAYS right... period.

I came in earlier tonight with some friends, and the service was absolutely horrible. I have never talked and/or dealt with more rude and inconsiderate people, completely unwilling to provide service to us as their customers. After rudely telling us (when we arrived at 9:10pm), that they technically closed at 9:30 when the sign says 10pm, they continued to show that we were most definitely not welcomed, and that it was a tremendous hassle to serve us. One worker in particular continued to roll her eyes, slam things around, and completely ignored us when we walked to the front counter to ask for sauce before leaving. With service like that, you wont have to worry about customers like us returning. I hope that their customer service gets better, because thats such a huge part of any business. Not impressed.

After reading reviews and having a good idea of what to expect me and my boyfriend came in knowing service would be bad but food would be delicious. I was very disappointed. Guy taking our order sounded like he wanted to stab me. One word replies to questions we had being it was our first time in. Girl called out our name and just left tray there and walked away. Didnt wait for me to come up and I ended up yelling to thank her and still no response from anyone. My milkshake was good but food wasnt that great. Not bad. Just really generic. Didnt make up for the bad service. They get away this because its a hometown burger joint. People around the area will come eat here regardless. Thats where my stars come from. It was a cute little hometown place and looked like they keep up with keeping it clean

So sad. We have gone to Pilchuck for many years and enjoyed the food but tonight I spent $39.00 for burgers that were chewy and overdone. It was bad then I asked for a extra tartar sauce for the fish and chips and was told by a rude employee I had to pay almost a dollar more for tartar sauce. His attitude and smug so I asked for the manager which that young man was polite and tried to make it right but explained that the charge was due to the minimum wage increase. If you spend that kind of money for food for 3 people you should receive a better quality of food and service. I do appreciate the young manager on duty though for his polite customer service skills

Waited in the drive-thru for 40 minutes before we ever got to the window. The girl closed the window on us without even acknowledging us and we sat there for 5 more minutes before we left without ever getting food. We watched about 15 customers get helped inside while 3 cars were helped. The drive in was being completely neglected. We called to complain and were told that the manager doesnt see the drive in and didnt know what was going on. He then proceeded to get snippy with us and accuse us of never working retail, when we both work customer service jobs. This was our first time trying this place and we will never be back, this place is a joke.

Long waits with horrible service and cold food! We waited 35 minutes in the drive through after having a snippy and rude order taker. The girl wouldnt wait 30 seconds while we pulled together our oder, kept demanding "are you done" after each item. Finally got our order paid for after having the receipt shoved at us for the signature, not 1 word was spoken during the entire transcation. Burgers were decent other than being cold and fries were soggy and room temp at best. This was our first time here, having always seen a line at the drive through, now we know why the line is always long.

Food is good. Was pretty busy but some staff members are kinda rude and look like asking anything is bothersome. I it was busy but still can be quite a bit nicer. Especially the girl with super short hair and the nose ring. We couldnt hear our order and when we walked up she looked annoyed and said all this is yours with a bit of an attitude, and when my gf asked about a milkshake they forgot she walked away without a word made it real quick and handed to my gf and then walked away without a word also. A simple mistake was made worse my two staff members attitude.

has been my favorite,probably average once a month for the last 5 years , it has been very disappointing the last 2 times we have been there, yesterday convinced the wife to try again, Waited 34 minutes for our food, ( with other upset customers in line) when i got home had to throw 1/2 of our food away because it was so over cooked. 2 of the burgers were not the right ones. I dont think I can convince the wife to go back. Very sad to see the quality to go down hill.$40.00 down the drain

Really solid fair burgers, shakes and great onion rings. The lines are really long and the drive thru is configured terribly, but the food is priced right and its very good. Updated: I took a star off because I spent more than 15 minutes in the drive thru, again. There was only one car in front of me, and its kind of ridiculous to even have one when you cant turn out food at a decent clip.

If you are looking to return to days gone by, and get a taste of what a burger is supposed to taste like, then you need to stop in or drive thru Pilchuck. this place should be made an American Heritage site. every bite of there burgers and fries is like tasting childhood. the food brings memories of BBQs and drive ins from yesteryear. and the shakes are amazing also!

Such horrible customer service. I worked in a high volume drive-in for 15 years, and the inefficiency here is appalling. This used to be my favorite growing up, but you can tell the staff doesnt want to be there, and it reflects strongly. Im sure the only reason theyre in business is because of loyal customers, but at this rate theyll lose that too.

This is the best Ol;d School Burger Joint!! The Burgers and Shakes are just right juicy and taste great every time Check out the Onion Rings and Fried Mushrooms (Hint: best when hot) DO NOT FORGET TO Get 3 or 4 Fry Sauces (This is worth the stop alone) Happy Days Eating

Great place, very nice family type atmosphere. Pilchuck has some of the best milkshakes in Snohomish County. The food is very good too, especially the cheese burgers. Easily one of my top 5 places to eat, and its very popular with the locals. Awesome place
