I used to visit player1 frequently. Over time, not so much. I went out there last night for the first time in a long time (to celebrate my birthday weekend (its on may 7th, but we took advantage of cinco de mayo as well.)) and the experience was okay. Not like it was when they first opened up. The young lady at the front was alright. She could use a little customer service training in my opinion. She did her job, but didnt make us feel welcomed. We get inside and I noticed some improvements to the console stations. More room to stretch your legs, which was a nice touch. I get to the bar and this is where things get interesting. One of the bartenders and I used to be friends but we arent anymore. I assumed she was working her other job, which is why I decided to go...she happened to be behind the bar last night. To not start anything, I let my friends order just to not make things awkward. We get our beers without hassle. I walk over to my friend (who was hanging out by the spy hunter pinball machine to make room for others who were ordering) and noticed this particular bartender whispering into another bartenders ear. They both look over at me, so I assume something was said about me. I brushed it off. I noticed after that moment, I was getting okay service. I understand it was slightly busy, but they were getting orders 3 at a time. Whenever it was my go, skipped over me, or would get my order, but serve everyone else who had ordered after me. My friends would go up to the bar and be back with rounds for everyone (it was five of us) within 2 minutes of leaving. Took me almost ten minutes to get one beer whenever I would go to the bar solo. Other then that, we spent our time playing the Wii U in the corner. Ended up leaving way earlier than we planned on (all In part of the bartenders going at a snails pace with me) and spent the remainder of the night at backstage (pool gall in the same plaza). Will return when the bartenders mature a bit more.

Overall: Solid place to have some fun with old arcade games including NES classics such as Bomberman and Mario, as well as new games such as Super Smash Bros for WiiU and Halo 5. The beer, wine, and sake menu left me wanting for a little bit of liquor and a mixed drink, but all in all the bartenders were more than happy to help me find a craft drink to suit me, which included a number of free samples. Saturday was a busy night for them which meant no shortage of challengers for gamrs played at the bar such as Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur.. Unfortunately, I am terrible at both of them and was not much of a fight. The music was great and the atmosphere was very lively. The lack of food was unfortunate, though they did serve popcorn at least. All said, they only lose a star because the hostess at the front in charge of door cover fees as well as the rentals for TV stations was a solid contender for the worst customer service I have ever had. If you show up and are greeted with the attitude that you are inconveniencing the lady, go ahead and get it over with, j think the rest of the experience is worth it!

Condescending bartenders. I asked if they had a pear cider she said yes, and apparently there were options but she opened one right away without telling me about the rest. I tried it in front of her, apologized and said it was overly sweet and i sincerely didnt like it, she said "well...ciders are suppose to be sweet." as if this was my first f***cking cider in my life. I told her i knew that but i truly didnt like it after tasting it. And then said "we dont give refunds on bottled drinks" so i asked to speak to a manager regarding that policy and they said they were both the managers. If this is true and these are your managers then i feel bad for whoever the owner is; youre not going to keep a business open with rude people like this. Never coming back. Also, the bathroom with no lock? Not okay. In case the owner reads thisn it was the girls working the night of July 6n 2017. Came in around 10pm.also, if youre going to have a policy like that then maybe you should have a sign up that states that once the beverage is opened you will charge no matter what.

The best video game bar in central Florida if not the whole of Florida. Offers a wide variety of arcade games which are kept in good working order. Plus, every conceivable console you could dream of. From the 1000 game NES to the latest and greatest console systems on the market, the game selection cannot be beat. Drinks are equally as good with both a large selection of craft beers on draft (20+ taps) and a wide bottle/can list are available. They also do some beer based cocktails. Most staff are friendly and helpful though you can occasionally meet one that seems a bit indifferent. Clientele pretty varied from early twenties on up. And the $5 cover charge gets you unlimited play on all arcade games and the vintage consoles. Only the newest consoles are an upcharge which is nice. Over all, a great place to spend the evening. Only wish: That they opened earlier on Saturday and Sunday. Noon would be great guys.

Can you say flashback to 1985. This place is pretty damn cool. Lots of retro video games, old and new gaming consoles, and the best part..a bar! We came here early on a Friday night, so it wasnt to packed. The decor is really cool, with lots of video game themed posters hanging all around. This place just has a fun feel to it. The best part is that all the video game cabinets are included with your $5 admission. I do think that you have to be a member to play the PS4s and newer Xbox, but dont quote me on that. The bar is a decent size and the bartender was super helpful and knowledgeable about all the craft beer that they sold. They have a very good selection on draught and several of them are rare. I will definitely be back, and possibly look into their membership.

Im from out of town but I visit here every chance I get. They only serve beer and popcorn, but its a great location for gamers, geeks, and more to hang out, meet new people, and be themselves (great date spot too). Theres a cover to get in, but from there they have tons of arcade cabinets that are free to play, and a collateral system for renting booths with game consoles new and old, and tons of games. You can even play games while sitting at the bar, on huge TVs behind the bar. Great atmosphere and TONS of decor. They have a lot of huge, custom old school video game sprites hanging all over the bar, and lots of gaming paraphernalia along the bar. The music is pretty loud, but it seems to suit the atmosphere. There really needs to be more places like this across the country.

Fun place to hang around...if youre a dude. Female bartenders always seem to have an attitude with me, and I barely say a word. They act like you waiting at the counter for 10 minutes for one drink is severely inconveniencing them. Games are fun, but its pretty small and can get busy real quick. Hard to find a seat sometimes. Also watched a drug exchange of some sort go down between a bartender and female customer. Not sure what she gave the girl, but it was tiny and blue and I think she stored it in a fridge with some of the drinks. Quick and shady exchange, like they didnt think anyone was looking. Is their an owner or manager of this place that cares about anything that goes on? All Ive seen are younger females and one dude at the door. Who runs this thing?
