My friends and I didnt have such an awesome experience here. We all ordered two tacos, from the sides menu because we didnt have much money. They gave my friend a dish that cost much more than ours, even though he clearly ordered the same thing. They also seemed to have an attitude... maybe because we werent all buying entres for $12? Then, someone bussed my friends plate before he was even done and didnt even look him in the face or check to see if he was done. It was a very strange experience and I would say youre better off spending your money elsewhere.

Been going here for years! From when I was real young with my family and friends, and still going... dont live in Snohomish anymore, but still travel from Marysville to eat at Ixtapa in Snohomish... only other local mexican that we really like is El Paraiso in Snohomish! Would, and do, recommend both of these mexican restaurants to everyone!!! ALSO, at Snohomish Ixtapa, if you get Jose you will not be disappointed, he is great!!!

Food is just OK. Nachos were lame, tamales were dry,server always wants to shake hands and pass the germs of everyone who enters to everyone else, I dont get it. I just give the fist bump in hope of not getting the flue from Johnny at the other table. The little round man in the Bar is rude and gives dirty looks if you dont know what you want when he asks. Go to the pilchuck drive in and have a great meal instead of going here!!

Quaint atmosphere that you would expect from a family-style restaurant. The service was very good and the food was also very tasty. The tacos are a standard fare, but their Colorado Burrito was epic! You can taste the authentic spices and flavours that make up a good dish and this certainly met expectations. Homemade salsa a tortilla chips also tasted great!

I absolutely love this place Ive been going to the one in Snohomish since the day it opened the staff is awesome and the owner and his wife are super friendly and always remember me my wife and kids love these guys there the best weve been to the other ones but the snohomish one is by far the best one in our opinions hands down

Food seemed a little bland. Staff seemed in a hurry to get us out of there. Not very friendly and priced a bit high. Got our order wrong and didnt seem too family friendly althouhj there was another family sitting near us and the mother had a foul mouth i almost said something but in general just didnt feel too welcomed

Im finally getting around to updating my review. This place 4 years ago was a 4 star but the last two times we went there in the last year the food has been awful low quality garbage. Probably the worst Ive had in WA. Go to other Ixtapas and in Snohomish go to El Pariso or anywhere else.

OMG, horrible and over priced. We got an order to go and everything was over cooked (steak, shrimp and chicken). The Pollo a la creama lacked flavor. The best part of the meal sadly was the rice and beans. Never again would we order from here. Scary that this place has 4 star average.

Got the wrong food. When I asked why they said that was what I ordered. I almost never give a negative feedback and usually only post ones I like. But I wont go back unless its with a group who votes to go there. My husband and I wont go.

This is the best tasting Mexican restaurant in the world!!! Great tasting salsa, bean and cheese dip, with chips, non stop. Great hospitality . I will keep going back, even if I moved, I will take the 45 minute drive, its worth it. :)-

Horrible. Didnt get half of what we asked for. Asked for chicken on quesadilla, no chicken. Asked for whole beans, got refried. Chicken ala cremation had zero flavor. Chile con queso was a sad joke. Ticked that I wasted my money.

The higher priced special meals are the best. The manager/owner has made special order meals for me. I go there once per week and never get tired of it.
