This is my favorite mexican restaurant in Monroe. The one in Woodinville is even better because they have Mac & Jacks African AMber on tap! The best selections on the menu, in my opinion are the Carne Asada, Tacos al Carbon, and the California Burrito, all with the best tasting, grilled to perfection thinly cut Skirt Steak! Lastly, the best thing about Mi Tierra is they give you as much chips, salsa, bean dip, and Pico De Gallo as you want. The service is great too, and the owner takes great pride in keeping his restaurants clean, and keeping the customers happy.

Been dining here for about 10 years. Typically the food is good. Jose has been our server for years and he is fabulous, never has to write down an order no matter how big the party and always gets it right. Recently, some of the newer hires have been serving us, and their attitude left something to be desired and the service was slow, and if I wanted my drink refilled (and I did!) I would have to go in search of my server. :(

I use to go here pretty often but recently it seems the food quality has gone down while the prices have gone up. The drinks are still pretty good, the atmosphere is great, and the service is friendly and typically prompt. Sadly it just doesnt make up for the foods decline in quality. Id be willing to give this place another chance if the problems in the kitchen were fixed despite the rising cost.

Extensive menu, with lots of tasty choices. I do want to mention that I ordered the Mango Mint Margarita and what I got was a tequila Margarita, as in all I tasted was tequila. Not complaining since it was almost a $10 drink so I guess I got what I paid for! ;P I am a 411 lady and dont drink much AND hadnt eaten much so just gonna say... I felt it! No complaints!

This used to be our go-to Mexican restaurant. But after a table of obnoxious customers at an adjacent table was able to get a member of the wait staff to behave equally obnoxious we concluded the professional discipline back in the kitchen might be equally non-professional. We dont expect to ever return.

Really enjoyed the food and the service. They have more authentic Mexican choices as well as the americanized standards, and both are done well.The surroundings are nice, and the staff have been really attentive. The cabbage salsa is completely addicting.

I know that everyone has their off day but let me tell you that this place is by far the best place to eat, drink and relax in the state. Everyone has their favorite place and thos one is mine. Always try something new and ask for the Ultimate Magerita.

Huge restaurant with some nice renovations to make it feel more authentic. Portion sizes are not huge like most Mexican restaurant and the prices are expensive, but the quality is good and the servers are really nice.
