TL;DR - Carry out order took 40 minutes. Food was wrong. Cook/manager hybrid didnt care/apologize. Gave back food for refund. Restaurant was filthy. Long story: I hate to put down a local business, but tonight was a disaster from the start and any employee giving a damn would have led to me ignoring the problem and coming back a different time. I went in for a carry out. Waited 10 minutes to be greeted by a delivery driver that was clearly over-worked and frustrated. Before acknowledging me, she entered multiple phone orders that she had written down. There was no apology for my wait. (This same driver was parked outside blocking one of two handicap spaces.) She told me a carry out would be 30 minutes -- I think as a way to discourage me from ordering. I then placed my order after the driver told me that it would actually be closer to 20 minutes. At 30 minutes, they called my name. After receiving my order and seeing that it had an error, I flagged down what I thought was a manger. I told him about the issue and he grabbed a cook. The cook came over, saying nothing to me while he rang up a gift card to give me due to my complaint. I kid you not, there was zero acknowledgment of me or the issues by this hybrid cook/manager person. He didnt even look at me until he handed me a gift card and said "here you go." After staring at him in disbelief, he added a "thank you?" Yes, his "thank you" was in the form of a question. He didnt even tell me how much credit the gift card contained -- and still no apology! I called him out on his horrible service and told him to keep his gift card and food. I gave him back the gift card, food, and receipt and asked for a refund. He voided the transaction and still didnt give a damn. I wont be back. They need to hire more staff and give the restaurant a deep cleaning!

After waiting an hour and a half....on a Monday night......The huge, panting-from-the-mouth delivery driver showed up. He told me my sub JUST came out of the oven about 20 minutes ago. Obviously a lie. If it took 20 minutes to cook, it must have taken an hour and 10 minutes to deliver it to me 7 miles away. Understandable, that there may have been other orders, but DAMN. Also, I ordered cheesecake upon my initial phone delivery and guess what??? Yup! No cheesecake. Also, didnt get a fork for my salad, nor did I get a reciept for my meal. Good thing my company paid for it, but I dont have a receipt to keep for my records, so that will probably come out of my pocket. Thanks for nothing, Belmont Pizza & Pub. Will NEVER order from again.

Started using BPP for their delivery service-food really was very good. A problem arose on our last order on 8-4-15. I asked for refund on my card. On 8-14, refund was still never issued. I called and talked to Michael for second time. He said he would bring $$ to my home. He never showed up. $26 plus tip may not be a lot to them, but it is to my family- It is 8-21-15 and I did not want to do this, but Belmont Pizza and Pub cheated my family and that is bad business!!!

I like the pizza but the service remains terrible. Ive been maybe 5 times, all for take-out. The order has been wrong several times, which is a problem by itself, but they also never apologize and act like its a big deal to fix. Last time, the woman at the counter tried to say it was my fault. Pro-tip: Order online so you have a written version of your order to point to when theres a mistake. I think Im done there. Not worth the stress.

I dont know who wrote the glowing reviews for this place. It must be the employees. This was the ABSOLUTE worst pizza I have ever had. And that includes frozen pizza. The service was good but the pizza was awful. I didnt even eat it all I left it on the table. It was like a Ritz cracker with flavorless tomatoes on top. These "great" reviews are insane! This was an awful experience.

Great pizza- lots of specialty pies that are very creative, with local streets as the names for each pie. You can also make your own and the toppings list and whole wheat crust give you lots of options. This is one of my favorite pizza places in town. Dart boards add some extra fun too! Casual, low key atmosphere, un-rushed, great food. Service can be a little slow.

Outstanding pizza but the service (phone) is terrible and could improve greatly. They often do not pick up, put you on hold as soon as you call without letting know, and leave on waiting a significant amount of time. Unsure of restaurant service. Pizza is worth it however.

We let google maps decided to get pizza for us and so this is what was close and rating of 4. Pizza was good, service was sparse... considering only 2 people at the bar other than us in a booth. Maybe next time will do takeout as table service needs improving.

Greatly appreciated calling in an effort to order food for pickup and being told delivery is an hour... then shortly after changing our mind for pickup and sitting on hold for a few minutes had to pass.... Might wanna step up the customer service guys

Pizza was amazing! Best in town. The owner mike personally delivered it to our doorstep and even chatted for a bit about our home renovation project. Just another example of how patronizing small business equals truly exceptional service.

Made order incorrectly. Offered three small pizzas instead of one small and one large. For future reference, you get WAY less pizza with two smalls instead of a large. Get a large. Pizza wasnt very good, either, especially for the price.

Travel the world for a living and eat pizza everywhere I go. While not the best Ive had, I will put it up against any pizza in Charlottesville. Atmosphere is fine for what it is. Owner is very friendly.
