this is our favorite Kizuki Ramen, having tried the ones in Bellevue and West Seattle. The main dishes and appetizers are wonderful. Even when it is super crowded, the service is excellent and the food comes quick. when I was having dental work done, the staff cut up my meat and vegetables into manageable bits for me and gave me scissors as well. The food is really outstanding! You can have a low-sodium serving if you like. I reduced a star because sometimes the music is WAY WAY TOO LOUD, which causes the diners to have to shout over it. Still, we keep going back, knowing that we may have to wait 15 minutes for a table, because the food is REALLY REALLY delicious. Almost forgot -- there is a happy hour where I buy a delicious Pinot Grigio for a buck a glass. they also have some delicious sake. PLUS, there is underground parking, free for two hours, which makes it really easy to access this restaurant, the theaters and other good restaurants in Thornton Place. Give this Kizuki Ramen restaurant a try. We love it!

Id love to rate the food but I never even got to the table. The greeter (and I use this term very loosely) wouldnt sit our party of three because my wife was not there, even though she was right there 30 seconds before and had to go to bathroom. Then one waiter told us to move the car or it would be towed. So she went to move it. And now we had to wait again to be seated. It felt really personal with the greeter staring us down at times and my 9 year old was getting upset. Thats when I offered to buy a third plate if my wife were to ditch us and didnt come back. That didnt work and were told to wait for next table. So we left.

Amazingly delicious! My daughter-in-law and I went to Kizuki the night before their wedding and had the Garlic Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen. I got mine with chicken instead of pork. It was sooo good. The broth was like heaven. I loved the soft boiled egg. It was a fun orange-ish color on the outside and tasted great. The noodles, veggies, and meat were great also. I liked the little bit of spicy chili cut like scallions. The staff was very friendly and explained the menu options for me since I had no idea what to order. There was a bit of a wait to get a table but it was worth the wait. And, I cant wait to go again!

Ive been looking for something close to authentic, Japanese ramen since I arrived back from my vacation in Japan. This restaurant pretty much hits the nail on the head. The broth for their ramen was very savory and delicious, especially with their spicy chili added. You can ask for the chili on the side and add it yourself to control the spice level of your ramen. Their gyoza was amazing as well. I ordered chicken ramen and a side of gyoza and my bill was about $14. It was pretty packed though, so keep in mind that you may have a wait time if you go during peak hours.

Im visiting Seattle and on a whim decided to try this Ramen place for dinner. The atmosphere is very nice. Its somewhat busy but feels quite private at the same time. The staff is friendly and also knowledgeable about the actual dishes. The customization available of each ramen is great. The food itself is absolutely five star. I got the rich chicken ramen with added spicy sauces and I only stopped eating when my spoon couldnt scoop anymore of the broth out of the bowl. Definitely stop by this place and give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

This is very important: add chashu pork. The first time I went to Kizuki, there was a short wait for chashu. It came out when I was about halfway done with my ramen, but I was amazed at how much it transformed the dish. It went from good to amazing. The ramen here is about as authentic as you can get. But between the popularity and small dinning area, theres usually a wait. The staff greets guests in Japanese, but dont worry if you dont know any: the wait staff is mostly American and very polite.

It is ALWAYS full at the heart of dinnertime so come at lunch or early for dinner, or ask for a bar seating for a better chance of not waiting. Interior-wise its bright, cozy and simple. Service is usually attentive of all the times Im here, but you may need to ask if you want to have a bill on your table. My personal favorite is the yuzu shio ramen. A tad expensive but the broth has a zest taste of yuzu (citrus) that balances the saltiness of the broth (though you can ask for low sodium).

Im a vegetarian, so coming to a place like this where broth flavor is essential is always a risk. I was hoping for some miso-mushroomy goodness, but what I got was bland broth that was more spicy than flavorful. I got added tofu and it was just giant slimy chunks of tofu that were cold in the middle, despite being in warm broth. Also, NO mushrooms!! Not even one!! So sad! Otherwise, my husband loved his garlic ramen with pork belly, and the vegi gyoza was very yummy!

Im spoiled when it comes to Ramen, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, so that is my "bar". Ramen is OK, just still missing that right taste/texture of the soup base. I always do ramen with Kara-age, and that unfortunately was sub par. You gotta do chicken kara-age right :) Been there once, though, so Ill give it another shot sometime. Its in a nice area, ample parking, family friendly place. Staff/service is fine.

Amazing staff & amazing flavors everything g here including the staff is wonderfully which for me is a difficult find I usually have great food and crap / untenable service or really awful food with great service but this place is a win win win win situation literally no joke only complaint is a bit small and can get crowded but not a big deal for me well worth the wait and always leave happy and full

this place was certainly fine but not the most flavorful. for a pre movie spot out in suburbia sure, its great. but not a destination for me. great restaurant decor, good wait staff and nice thoughtful dishes, unfortunately for the price i would go elsewhere in the city without a second thought. will try again next movie we head north for.

Amazing ramen place. Best Ive had in Seattle by miles. Seriously if youre looking for a ramen place you must try this. Came with a small group of friends right about noon and was seated right away. Also they give discounts if you have a movie ticket stub during lunch hour, or discounts on your movie tickets with receipt.

Ordered Ramen delivery to work for lunch when I was sick. The food was really COLD by the time it showed up and I asked for no bamboo shoots but was filled with bamboo shoots which made the taste, to me very unpleasant. I may go dine in sometime but $12 for a cold lunch that was not what you ordered seems like a stretch.

Service was non-existent at the counter where we were seated after a 20 minute wait. The Miso Raman came with a spicy option when my 8 y/o ordered it they did not specify but then clearly brought the spicy version. The Garlic Tonkatsu was delicious, as was the Miso Ramen, really service and communication were the issue.
