Sloooooooooooooow service... It took them 30 min from first served item to last... I finished eating when my wife got her sushi Hair in my Ramen... Ok, I can live with that but... Wrong order that boost up 25% our bill and they wouldnt honor original order. Really not worth it better options close by Ordered unagi roll for 4.99 waitress confirmed twice. got the dragon roll for 12.99 instead. An 8$ mistake out of a 30$ check... After telling the waitress that the check was wrong the owner came out to tell us that we had to pay full since we ate it... I thought I was eating something different... Her solution was to skip the tip... Awful!!!... As a Chef, I am telling you dont enforce this kind of business. $ is more important than customer. Hospitality= 0 or less

The ramen at Kaze Ramen is slightly above the level of a ramen side order you would get at a sushi restaurant, but quite a ways below the quality you would get at the specialty Ramen shops in San Mateo. The noodles are on the soft side and the broth is slightly lacking in flavor. The Black Garlic Ramen is essentially tonkotsu with sesame oil, which is not bad but not particularly exciting. A lot of the other dishes are at a similar level, with one example being the karaage, which was mostly dry batter with little chicken. Overall the food is good enough for this place to be a quick stop, but probably not a destination.

The service at this restaurant was awful. No one understood what I was saying and I couldnt understand what the waitress/manager was saying. This resulted in them charging me extra for something I didnt order and didnt even receive , and when it came time to pay she refused to take it off the bill. Very rude service.

Great place to stop by ramen that is near the campus. The ramen is average compared to places outside, but around the proximity of campus, this is probably the best Ive been to. The ramen is good, not great nor bad. I always get the Black Garlic Ramen.

My order was wrongg after confirming twice, I got a dragon roll instead of unagi roll, I realize when the bill came, the owner came and ask us to pay the full amount even if this was not our mistake. Slow service by the way ..

They were able to accommodate gluten-free, but the rice noodles werent as good as the real ramen. I guess thats to be expected... Would be awesome if they had buckwheat GF noodles.

Great place for a bowl of Japans most famous comfort food export, Ramen. (Thats soba and udon to you more experienced folks) The Chashu ramen is particularly good.
