Office ordered Tuesday shrimp specials to go for lunch which were picked up by my coworker. When the boxes were brought to us the food made the entire office smell like low-tide. The food was clearly turned and reeked of ammonia. We even had some of our own customers complain of the rotten-fish smell. When we called to complain they said that we waited too long to pick it up (about 15-20 minutes after ordering) and made it out that it was our fault as if fish can go bad within 20 minutes. Asked for our money back and were refused. Tempted to do a charge-back on my CC but I dont think its worth it for the price of a lunch. Simply wont be returning

When we received our food, we remembered that the last time we were there, we said we would NEVER return. Husband ordered extra thick fried "filet" of flounder. He spent the whole time picking bones out of so called filet". I ordered broiled seafood platter. Flounder was like rubber, mystery fish was half raw and extremely "fishy", shrimp was also like rubber, scallops and oysters were just plain nasty, (Hubs loves oysters and wouldnt eat them). Thirty dollars plus tip for THIS????!!!! Promise to self......Never, ever go there again!!! PS....Used to absolutely love Mayflower...what a disappointment!!

Worse service ever! Food was not that great. Ive eaten at Mayflower before in Greensboro and had a better experience than this location. Staff was not eager to serve minorities at this location. Food was overly greasy. I ordered the "Deviled Crab Cakes", it was noting but Stove top stuffing inside a of a crab shell. The waitress informed me that, she was not familiar with what is placed inside the batter. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!

A group of us were in town for several days for a dog show. We wanted seafood so we decided to try the Mayflower. The food and service was excellent. Even with six of us in the group we were seated promptly and the waitress took very good care of us. Worst food i ever had in my life. If you like rubber fish tasteless food here you go. The clams were still dirty and nasty. The broil platter combo for 15$ was disgusting. It tasted like it just came out of the ocean. The fishes werent even cleaned. I would never step foot in the place again. Eww. Wasted money couldnt even finish the food after a couple of bites. Service was horrible.

When you order take out please check before you leave. It seems like they forget something every single time. Its beyond annoying and they certainly never make it right. Why because theres no manager working.....dear mayflower manager, my $15 plate was wrong, when it cost that much it should be right and nothing should be left off....thank you kindly.

This is my to go on a date spot. Very friendly staff, always asking if you need anything. The place is very clean, and a comfortable spot to hangout. The wall art is very nice. The food is usually very good, and I seem to order the same thing everytime I go. Peppered popcorn shrimp, with sweet potato and coleslaw. Im creating memories at this spot.

Saturday at 3:00 pm. Not very busy. However, after being seated, no one ever came by again. Not even water. Two tables and a large group came in and seated after us and had their orders taken. When we got up to leave at 3:15, not even a hostess could be found out front in the restaurant to complain to. This was our first and last visit.

Fish camp atmosphere. It isnt fancy but good and WOW the portions. The Whole Flounder is usually excellent as well as most of there fried platters. I havent tried the broiled or grilled menu items, because im going here for my monthly FRIED seafood fix. Also the Kids portions are huge and the Chicken Tenders are excellent.

The food is decent fro fried sea food and their hush puppies are addicting. The fried platters are huge and service is good. The kids meals will fill up your average adult. They recently raised their prices which is disheartening but expected with the times. Not the greatest seafood in the area but not bad either.

Several times I have had friends and family to eat here and always gets sick after!!! I do not think that after a 5th time of getting sick that its just a coincidence. Do not eat here. It is so nasty and gross and they are deffinatly not doing something right in the kitchen! Please dont go here!!

I just left there. Very disappointed. Food greasy. I ordered baby flounder with shrimp and French fries. The grease is old and need to be changed. Every thing under cooked, no salt,. The food tasted like I was eating okra. Leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

Fish didnt seem cooked all the way. Had a piece of raw fish on the side of the salad plate and found a dead fly buried in the bottom of my kids plate of shrimp. This is really disappointing as there arent many seafood restaurants around here.

Weve always had great service and awesome food. The portions are WAY more than 1 person can eat, so we always have to get to-go boxes for leftovers. Prices are good even for us po folk to have a date night several times a month.

Broiled platter was fantastic. My server, Rafael was very polite and kept my drink glass full which few servers pay attention to. Love the artwork and decorations. Worth the drive from Salisbury.

Waited for an hour with my parents and grandparents. Never got seated. Large partieswho arrived after us were seated while we waited. Manager was extremely rude and staff unhelpful.

Had the Steak and shrimp it was bloody and seasoned the way i liked. Salad and hushpuppies were awesome. Fast and friendly. .. . i think im going back in for moree hushpuppies!
