I usually do not write a negative review since our relatives own a restaurant but the experience was so bad that I had to let the management know. The sushi that we ordered did NOT have the materials that was listed on the menu. We got a few sushi rolls and ended up not eating much and paid close to $ 100 for 4 rolls. I asked the waitress and the manager why the rolls did not have the materials listed on the menu. They simply replied that they were sold out!??! but how can they be sold out for all those different rolls?? I have never heard of a restaurant who does that and not let the customers know. I wish they had told us earlier. Instead, we have gotten rolls with A LOT OF tempura powders and rice that were just fillers. I am very disappointed since we went to this place due to the positive reviews on the google. I wanted to give an honest review to let the management know.

When it comes to Sushi, the first thing that you should never compromise for is the freshness of the products. And I must say that Kiku always serve fresh food, from the meet through the rice to the seaweed. And for me, a place that offer a sit inside a boot, is already start the right way. The prices are reasonable, and the service is very professional from smiling people. For me, the spicy Salmon will always be on the list, and there is always fresh. The Wasabi’s roll is very interesting, and if you are into strong tastes, give it a try.

Kiku Sushi is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Fairfield County, CT. They consistently serve the freshest fish with their extensive menu. The place itself is clean and cozy - you can sit at a table, in a booth, or at the sushi bar. The waitresses could not be friendlier and the owner Susan is easily approachable. I highly recommend trying the wasabi roll and the drunken noodles. The restaurant is oftentimes packed on weekend evenings, so I recommend going for lunch. If you spend $25 or more on Mondays or Tuesdays, then you get free sake!

Im not the person who writes the reviews but today I felt very bad for my 9 year old. I took my kids today in for lunch and my 9year old wanted chicken with broccoli and sushi and my 3 year old I brought french fries with me, who is allergic to different foods. We got kicked out because she was not allowed to have french fries. This is the place that I always used to take takeout, but not happening anymore. The worst thing was that my 9 year old who is very sensitive girl was very upset.

This adorable little restaurant on Hope st. has the most wonderful sushi you can find in all of CT! The atmosphere is cozy and warm and completely a surprise given that it is essentially located in a strip mall. Do not let the outside fool you! They have all the usual favorites on their sushi menu and then they have their sushi speciallty menu - a MUST is the Greenwich roll! Out of this world for all of the many times we have gone there. They stay consistently amazing.

Susan is the sweetest and most attentive owner I have ever met. Every single visit has been wonderful. My family began going to Kiku about 6 years ago and now go for every homecoming, college send-off or on a night that we simply feel like having sushi. The prices are reasonable and the individuality of the sauces, sushi and specials make an evening out wonderful. The presentation of the sushi so beautiful that you have to pause before eating it.

Kiku is one of the brightest hidden gems of Stamford, CT. From Dragon Rolls made with fresh salt water eel and haas avocados to lightly pan seared pork dumplings and a world class General Tsaos chicken. Clean, friendly, and perfect for the aesthetic. You have to come here! So pick up some sticks! Get here quick! And be ready for one the freshest and most relaxing dining experiences in town.

This place has the best sushi in all of Stamford. Ive been going there for at least 5 years and its the best that I have found so far in this area. The atmosphere used to be cramped but they have expanded and have a lot more tables now. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for really fresh sushi and Japanese food.

Every time we visit or order from Kiku, it is absolutely delicious and fresh and the service is great. Tonight we ordered delivery and a roll we usually order came with mango sauce, which my friend was allergic to. They delivered a new roll, sans mango sauce, within 15 minutes. Now that is service! They are fantastic!

I spent about 25 dollars on two appetizers and a small miso soup for delivery. I wasted 25 dollars on food that could leave a mouse hungry. The price is absolutely horrendous for the quantity and quality. I will never order from this place again, and I caution you to do the same.

I dont even want to give one star. It was the worst sushi ever in my life. I wasted my money. I think they use MSG or whatever. I had to drink lots of water and had to brush my teeth three times. Dont go there.

This little hole in the wall has by far the freshest and most inventive sushi within 25 miles of here. Nothing even comes close. Its amazing what they pump out behind that sushi bar.
