The food would get a 4. But the service? Not very happy. Apparently a woman dining alone isnt something theyre quite used to. I just moved here, heard the food was good and decided to give it a go today and be seated rather than getting take out. It was 1:30 pm, so not early and there were multiple open tables. I had ordered, received my drinks, and the guy who runs the place came over to my table and started moving my things and my drinks over to another table. I looked at him with a puzzled expression and he said, "We need this table to make a bigger one." He didnt ask if I minded. He didnt say he was sorry and could he please move me to another table. He didnt do anything other than starting to pick up my stuff and assuming that it was okay. It was not okay and I was pissed. If he had good manners about it, not a problem. But I bet if I had been a guy dining alone, the outcome would have been different. While I recognize that cultural differences are what they are, disrespectful behavior of your customer is never okay. Good food. Not sure Ill come back after this experience.

Great restaurant... This is the only restaurant in Olympia I can really say is excellent because it is best and most refined food in Olympia. These recipes have been perfected over time. This is the place that I would take anyone who visits Olympia. I just have to say that, with regards to their food, theyre really just doing everything right...every dish Ive tried is on point: nan, lamb biryani, palak paneer, tandoori chicken... everything...and the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala are awesome. Way better than you could make at home. I would be surprised if you could find a better or more satisfying bite at any restaurant in Olympia than the butter chicken here. The staff are respectful, courteous and the service is fine. They have a small selection of Indian goods on a shelf and the patchouli incense they sell there (HEM Precious brand) is, unlike most patchouli incense, actually a good smell like a fragrant and fresh green forest.

My brother was visiting from NorCal and he loves Indian food. Me? Not much of a fan of Indian food, at least not until visiting Curry Corner! It was very delicious and I will be returning. To top it off, the service was fabulous and the lady who took our order, as well as another gentleman, was very attentive. I ordered the chicken vindaloo and had the opportunity to taste the chicken tikka masala and garlic shrimp curry. All three were absolutely yummy! The naan was great with all 3 dishes. We also had the assorted veggie appetizers and that was a great start to our meal. I ended my meal with the rice pudding, a perfect ending to an absolutely wonderful meal. Im definitely adding Indian food, well, at least Curry Corner, to my list of favorites!

This is THE BEST Indian food ever! The staff are always very friendly, attentive and welcoming. The food is always beautifully served and tastes great with generous portions. The garlic naan is "lip-smacking" goooood! We have NEVER had a bad meal or experience and come here often, at least a couple times a month. They are consistently delicious and always satisfying! As returning customers we are always treated like family here. If you have never eaten Indian food, or are having trouble deciding what to eat, try the "chicken shahi korma" and "chicken tikka masala" and the rice is included! Everything is freshly made and the coffee tastes great too! Its definitely an affordable quality and romantic choice for lunch or dinner!

Curry Corner looked busy, so I decided to walk in. Ive had Indian curry somewhere else before, and it was full of flavor. It was good enough that I am willing to drive 12 hours round trip to have it again. I had to send Curry Corners curry back when it didnt come to me as ordered. After it arrived I noticed it still was not as I ordered. Trying to explain the order is still wrong was trying to pull tiger teeth. Not only wrong but bland. Where was the flavors I remember from other place? This curry had no flavor at all anything near as good as what I had before. Is it really that difficult to add a little heat? Even me saying "I want very very spicy hot" didnt work. I will never go back to Curry Corner again.

I have traveled far and wide in places such as Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, and London in search of great Indian restaurants. The taste and quality of food that comes from the kitchen of this little gem is among the best I have ever tasted, bar none. Ive had the mixed vegetable korma, lamb vindaloo, tikka masala, saag paneer, and their butter chicken. All of their sauces are rich and flavorful, but more importantly authentic. I invite anyone who has had Indian food in London (a city known for their Indian food) to try this restaurants Indian food. I guarantee that if you are a Indian food snob, youll love this place. The best part yet? Its in Olympia (Lacey)! What the...

I went with my cousin and her husband just after they had got married to get something to eat and Ive never had curry before but I wasnt hungry so I decided to get a dessert and they both had just ate so we all asked for some ice cream. The lady that was taking our order said that we could not eat there that we had to order food or we had to take the ice cream as a carry out. Mind that this was on a Wed at 8pm and they were not busy at all. We felt very disrespected and we left and went to cold stone instead down the street. I will never go there again

I really like the place, the food is great, and the portions are enough to fill even the hungriest patron! And they also have a nice selection of East Indian spices and mixes, and other neat things too- incense, henna. Prices arent too bad, considering the high quality of the food. I like the older gentleman who sits at the register, hes very nice and has friendly eyes, and a warm, welcoming smile :) I will definitely come back again soon. Only thing I would say I dont like, is the insufficient parking, but thats not really their fault.

This place is great. Small, but comfortable. Quiet, but never empty. I had avoided this place for years because I hate curry. Little did I know what a fool I was. Im pretty tame with my Indian food, but this place has the best butter chicken Ive ever had (and Ive been to 4-5 Indian restaurants!). The only imperfection to this place is that they have a tendency (2 out of 4 visits) to overcook the naan. But whats better than a perfect meal? A meal with only one flaw that gives you something to complain about, because were humans.

The food is fantastic. I just found out they no longer serve their lunch specials on the weekends. That is the only reason I went. I like a balanced meal with a meat dish, side and vegetables. Their regular meals, while very tasty, are comprised mostly of a main dish and a side only, at a much higher cost of $11+ for meat dishes. I am very disappointed. I am not able to go during the week and am sad to say, I probably will not be returning as the new arrangement is above my budget and not to my liking.
