I wish I could give ZERO stars to this location. Ive always been a fan of Pakwan most authentic Pakistani/Indian food around. I went with a group of 8 family members last night at 8:00pm we order a significant amount of food and started to eat so far so good. When the time got closer to 9:00pm the cashier decided to take off which is fine with me thinking (she might have a second job) the music was shut off for two mins then loud Spanish music started to play by the kitchen employees it was so loud we couldnt even hear each other talk. I understand youre closing and hinting us to leave which is disrespectful considering how much weve spent trust me we dont want to be there all night either. I walked up to the kitchen employee asked politely if the music can be turned down a notch. I was completely ignored and starred at like I was asking for a burrito in a Pakistani restaurant. Ive never seen such pathetic customer service in my life and if it wasnt for my family being there I wouldve handled the situation differently. If you have any respect for yourself or family go to a different location and dont bother with them. I will reach out to the owner tomorrow and express my concerns no one should be treated with such disrespect especially a paying customer.

Really like the large portions of biryani and the pricing on all their dishes. Can do a dinner for two for around 20-25 dollars here which is great for SF. Its also a very welcome addition, in my opinion, to the Ocean Avenue area since it brings a bit of variety now. You need to be open-minded for self-service though since you grab your own plates, utensils, water, and food when its ready. My staple would be ordering a biryani, naan, and another saucy dish (Cant go wrong with Tikka Masala or other Chicken Dishes) to dip the naan in which would be pretty good for 2 people. My only gripe is that I can foresee the place could possibly get full at certain times, never happened when Im there, but there could probably be more tables if they can figure it out.

I waited 40 minutes for a to go order when it wasnt even that busy. Then when they had the order ready in a bag, I watched them put it on the counter and didnt call out any name, it sat there for 15 minutes until I went to the cashier and asked if that was mine. The saag was so overspiced like Ive never had before, nobody could eat it. The aloo baingan was delicious but I kept biting into whole spices, that was so unpleasant, I had to dig through the whole thing to get them all out and also found pepper stems. The naan and samosas were good, but werent enough to save the meal. I would say the prices are just a bit above average.

Food was great, service was terrible. The chef made a mistake with our order and left out a single garlic naan; the cashier combined the orders of me and my friend to one number with separate checks. We were supposed to have 3 garlic naan total, he insisted he put on three and refused to acknowledge the miscount. I offered to count the stack with him, instead he shoved a cold garlic naan into my hands, and against my jacket while giving me a scowl of disgust. Absolutely infuriating because I love their other location in Fremont area so much.

Opened in early 2017. Been a hit in the area as there are very few Indianhalal selections within a large radius. Good solid food selections. Large servings. Reliable quality, comparable to their other branches elsewhere in the city. Lamb and goat dishes are great!

Good food but this meal is 17.00 dollars. Its a big portion and okay to split for two, but on your own it is too pricey. Their chicken tikka masala is actually butter chicken masala (dark meat instead of white meat).

I think it is a nice place with good food. The only exception to this is that they dont have very many kid items. Its quickly becoming a favorite.

Fast-food type Indian/Pakistani food restaurant. One of several locations in San Francisco. Good spicy food. Fresh naan.
