I been to bad restaurants, mostly good, but never been a worst one. This is by far the WORST restaurant and the WORST SERVICE ever. Im a vegetarian and I ordered a Paneer biryani but the server brought me chicken. Its a genuine mistake, it happens, I agree. BUT when I told about the problem the guy responds as if its not his mistake and I placed the wrong order. Why would I order Chicken when I never had Chicken in my life!!? They should have apologized for having me taste chicken and for serving me the wrong order. Instead the guy who works there keeps arguing with me and says its not his fault and I placed the wrong order. I Walked out of the restaurant without even taking my food. I just couldnt stand the guy. He has an attitude. He cant even speak proper English; I wonder how he entered this country. NEVER GOING TO THIS PLACE AGIAN AND IM GOING TO TELL ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO ME TODAY. #WorstServiceEver

Visited the Hillsboro one.Very authentic. Liked their menu options and a warm welcome with great smile on their face. I ordered Non-veg thali. They offered me the option for chicken or goat and as I like goat meat I opted for goat curry as option. Loved everything that I was served. The daal and the cauliflower vegetable was very authentic. Would love more if I get an option to make it more spicy. But for the general diners it was well balanced flavor. I would however, like to request them to eliminate the gratuity option. Since I am ordering at the counter, I am not receiving much of the service. Besides, the gratuity should be based on my overall experience after I am done with my visit and before I check out. But putting the gratuity option while I am paying in advance at the counter is totally illogical and kind of put me in awkward situation.

Very Nice Indian Chaat & Hangout Place. Monica, Sri and another Young Lady at the counter, are all very courteous, SMILING all the while (happy), very quick to identify VEGAN items, as per their suggestions - I ordered Veg Manchurian and Veg Hakka Noodles. Its FRESHLY MADE (not pre-made as I see & taste its freshness), with MINIMUM OIL (which is huge plus), served quite fast, hot and with just the right blend of spices (not too much Masalas). I love this placed and already gone twice after that and had the same items. I should be definitely trying other items. Recommended! The only reason I have given 4 out of 5 is that $20+ for one person lunch w/o drink is bit on the pricy side (and they forget to ask/give your copy of printed receipts), but worth the taste and quantity once a week!

Food is decent but when you have to wait for almost 2 hours (not kidding) to get your food, it isnt worth the wait. Wife and I arrived at 7:10pm and got the first item at 8:25pm and the 2nd item at 9:10pm. The staff was handing out wrong food all night. people were coming back from home to get their orders fixed. There were 100 people in a very small space and we had to clean our own table. This was NOT during the first day or first week. Would be a good idea if Microphone was installed in the front and number is called instead of running around with a tray of food to find the number/table.

The most horrible experience at an Indian restaurant in Hillsboro. We went in and ordered at 6.35 pm and we did not get the food even at 7:15. At that time, we asked what is happening and thats when the guy asks me what we ordered!! When we went in the restaurant was pretty empty, soon it started filling in. People who came after us, got their food and was also ready to leave. During our half hour there we already saw 2 angry customers having a word with the management. Would not visit nor recommend this place to anyone. Even after all these, they did not even bother to apologize.

one of the worst places ever. The thali was very stale with the parts of paneer hard and disintegrated as soon we tried biiting into it. The rotis were hard and seemed made the previous day. The entire family got food poisoning the next day. This is not the first time this has happened. My family had this issue before but that time we thought it was a coincidence. But it cannot happen twice. Also one of our friends also reported similar symptoms and the also suffered food poisoning.Never ever I am going to the place and I would advice some food authority to investigate this.

Nice staff, quick service, reasonable prices, and authentic Indian food. Its great! You can get dishes from Chaat N Roll you wont find anywhere else around here, like Paani Poori or Chatori Kachori Chaat. Theyre interesting and good. They also have some more standard fare like curries or thali (like a sampler of a bunch of different things). One word of warning, though. If you want american-style Indian food without any spiciness, this may not be the place for you. My 4 year old liked the food, but Ive trained her well in spice tolerance!

Just opened a day or two. First visit for us. I had a Pav sandwich and wife had Chicken Biryani. Delicious!! Nice amount of spicy heat, chicken was savory and moist. Also had a mango lassi - a bit thicker than others Ive had but still wonderful sweet drink to cool all the spicy heat. We will be back to try the other items. (Ignore the post above about long wait times and not knowing what they are doing -- they just opened a day or two ago. They are working out the new restaurant kinks and new crowds.).

555 chicken biryani is one of my favorites from this place, but you have to be lucky to get a fresh one. Im not sure when they actually make something fresh and when they end up giving you some stale stuff. Probably ordering a to-go biryani at around 8 pm is the worst thing you can do, I just happened to do it yesterday and it was awful. The most stale item I have had so far. Checking the to go order right there for freshness is probably a must in this place.

I wish i can given 0 stars. I went to this updated place called "Biryani Corner" and got the worst ever customer experience. I was made to wait around 25 minutes for ordering just bajji and samosa. People who ordered after me were served. I was not given a proper explanation or apology for the delay, finally i made them cancel the order. Their response was rude when i demanded explanation. The chatt and roll was better with earlier management.

Pros 1. Unique (not authentic though) indian street food.. 2. Friendly staff Cons 1. They do not value customers time. Wait times are unpredictable (5 minutes to 45 minutes !!! ) 2. Not proper ventilation. You come out smelling the food. I had to immediately wash all the clothes I was wearing and take a shower at home to get rid of the smell. 3. Over priced. Almost every entry is priced 2-3$ more than its value.

Pleasantly surprised. Came in looking for a restaurant that used to be here and instantly greeted by some terrific smells that would not let me leave. The menu dissimilar from what you might normally find at a typical American style Indian restaurant. Ordered something at random off the menu and was very happy with it. very flavorful and balanced. Service was fast, helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
