This evening me and my boyfriend attempted to enjoy dinner at ichiban "supreme" buffet. We walked in, where seated and were asked what we would like to drink. We both asked for ice water. We then went and got our plates and begun the hunt for the not so exotic options. I played it safe and got noodles and chicken, with some wings. I then start weaving back to our table through the abyss of screaming children. I safely arrived back at the table without rude customers nocking my plate out of my hand. It was a really close call, someone tripped me on my journy, but thanks to my agile reflexes I was able to keep my balance. Upon my arrival back to the table I was greated by a cup of water. As I did not request. There is a difference between a cup of water, and a cup of ICE water. That is like someone asking for a milk shake, but only giving them a glass of milk. I then stick my staw into the water and take a swig. The water had some hints of flavor, but a flavor that I was not very fond of. Anyways, onto the chicken and noodles. The noodles are actually pretty good! I am giving ichiban 2 stars instead of 1 just because of these scrumptious noodles. The chicken is undercooked and cold. I eat 2 pieces of it anyways because I am very hungry and already have my fork in my hand eating the noodles. The noodles are gone, and once again, they where really good. Onto the wings..... They were not good, undercooked but still somewhat warm. I really love wings so I was able to eat a few of them after drenching them in ranch to remove the flavor of the wings. From this moment on I had very low expectations for the rest of my experience at ichiban buffet. My boyfriend then sat down and begun eating his chicken..... And as you guessed, undercooked. Onto round 2, I find some shrimps! I take the shrimps back to the table and begin to take the shells off. I bite into the shrimp and realize they still have the poop tube in them! When I go to a buffet I would expect the food to be ready for consumption. I do not work for the buffet as a prepper. After eating one bite of this poop shrimp I spit it out and quit eating them. I then go back up to the buffet, and find another safe option. Grapes and watermelon! I get back to the table and bite into the grapes. And as you guessed........ These grapes are filled with seeds. I did not realize I would have to prepare these buffet grapes for consumption. I then pay the bill of 23ish bucks for the experience of ichiban grill supreme buffet. I walk out to the car and we are now thinking of where we should go to eat an actual meal. A mile up the rode there is a cookout. Cookout. The cookout was perfect and I have no comaints. I would like to thank ichiban for insiring us to enjoy dinner at cookout this evening. Also ichiban, thank you very much for the noodles. If you or your loved ones are planning on an evening on the town and are in the mood for noodles I highly recommend going to ichiban grill supreme buffet. Also, ichiban has a huge parking lot which I really enjoy. I was offered to buy a bag of skittles out of a shopping cart by a man in this parking lot. So if you need a plug for Skittles, ichiban buffets parking lot is where you belong.

To the individual who most recently visited & reviewed Ichiban Grill with their father..... Its very alarming to me that you slapped the title of a racist on the host because she walked away from her post and was on her phone...you say it didnt dawn on you that she was a racist who LOOKED like "im not going to serve white people" what really didnt dawn on you....was the number of white people she has sat & served during her 4 year tenure with Ichiban Grill....or the number of Wednesdays she sat or served your father or you yourself (despite whatever other encounters with her you have now deemed racist)... what didnt dawn on you was the fact that outside of her job she is a mother with a child who is school age & who cant be with her at work and therefore shes bound to have a few business or emergency calls(as we all do) that she needs to take...what didnt dawn on you was that as the host it would have been rude for her to be on her phone while trying to assist customers which is why she stepped away & has a manager(who in fact she did motion for before she stepped away) who can step in and assist when emergencies arise...what didnt dawn on you was that although her skin is brown she may not be African American ...what didnt dawn on you is that in fact her grandmother was white ..But I guess you couldnt see any of that over her LARGE AFRO. Racism only has as much power as we give it and sufficient for the day are enough acts of racism without you creating a puesdo encounter. If you were that worked up about it you should have spoke with the manager behind the counter (as you father suggested..as with age comes WISDOM) and (A:)gotten the situation explain or (B:)actually done something meaningful so as not to give racism power (& in the event that the young lady (my sister) was a racist perhaps she couldve gotten fired so as not to offend anyone else or give the establishment a bad name).. instead of being a cyber bully. And that look that you deemed the "im not going to serve white people" look was actually more of the "I hope my manager seats them soon" look. Maybe Ichiban Grill deserves the one star rating you gave but that should be for customers who gain comprehensive knowledge of thier experience to decide.

➨➨➨ PLEASE READ ➨➨➨ I took my dad to Ichiban Grill today and was refused service by the African-American lady host with the large afro. She just walked away from her post, went to the corner of a booth, turned around and looked at us like "I am not going to serve white people" as she began to talk on her phone. My father was shocked at this because his boss takes him to eat there every week. He thought that walking to the register and speaking with the lady there was somehow going to make this a nice place to eat after that. He saw reason after I explained to him that he did not have to accept this type of behavior. He will be packing a lunch on Wednesdays now. I did eat here many times a month myself before this incident. This is not the first time that this has happened to me by this employee. I thought that maybe this person was on her cell phone speaking with her boss that wanted her to do something. It slipped my mind that maybe she was racist and just did not want to seat white people because there was another staff member that seated me as soon as she walked away that time. This time she was the only person working at the reception desk and like I said, "She just walked away from her post, went to the corner of a booth, turned around and looked at us like "I am not going to serve white people" as she began to talk on her phone". Wondering how much this employee is going to cost this restaurant in lost profit under they figure out what she is doing to them, "Me too". Just thought I would let you know.
