A HORRIBLE PLACE TO SHOP! The Produce is in HORRIBLE condition, half of the produce they have out is rotting and not kept in good condition and that area of the store is unkempt. It seems like ALL of the employees are rude (which would be obvious if you step in the store for just 10 minutes). I think that their refrigerators/freezers that they store cool or cold foods in are NOT in appropriate temperatures. I bought some foods from one of their freezers there that went to room temperature within a few minutes (and this was in the winter!) before I even got a chance to leave the dreaded store. The Returns section have the WORST of the WORST customer service that I have ever experienced in my entire life!!!! And that is saying something! Before I was helped at the Returns section, all the employees SLOWLY left the counters to "pretend" to look busy and it felt like it took forever just to be helped (There were four staff members and only one person was being helped at a time, and there was a line six people long). When I finally reached the counter, I overheard the staff member (who was helping me) making rude and borderline racist comments of the previous customer to another staff member. And then when they finally decided to "grace" me with their presence after their conversation, I asked to return the x-box that I bought the day before so that I can get an x-box with a kinect. He dragged the box across the counter and told me that the seal was broken so I cant return it. Well, it just happened that the seal wasnt broken until he dragged it across the counter. (By the way the seal was only HALF broken). So I caused a fit claiming that the seal was still unbroken and that he made it ripe. I wanted my money back so that I dont have to spend anymore money on the store but he rudely told me that Ill only be given a merchandise card. So I had no choice but to spend my money here. Overall this is a horrible store, bad products, even worse customer service, Im surprised that people even shop here because after today, I will not anymore and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place. Besides there is a Target next door (same products but better customer service) and a Krogers (better groceries) just a few blocks away, Please I warn you, for your own sake, stay away from this Meijers.

With the Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. Meijer about 10 minutes away form this location, I cant recommend using this store as your main grocery location. I used this place for our weekly shopping a few times and Ive found the following big issues: - Lack of stock at this location compared to the AA-Saline location; makes shopping frustrating at time. - Bad stock compared to the other Meijer; various fizzy drinks have been flat when we got them home, even after chilling them. This is not isolated; weve bought 6 separate drinks that were found to be flat when we got home. Buyer Beware! - The layout of this store is cramped compared to the AA-Saline location, and it make shopping an navigating a pain. Not to mention this makes shopping an experience in rudeness. I cant blame too many people in the store for constantly being in the way of my shopping, because the aisles are narrower. Bring your patience with you. All in all, this store is really only good for a quick stop or two for milk or bread. Otherwise, call the AA-Saline location for grocery pick-up, or just go there in person - youll never miss this store.

This Meijer is the reason people take their business elsewhere. The shelves are never stocked and there is never additional product in back (why they even have a "back" Im not sure since nothing is kept there). When product is stocked it is only Meijer brand (Im not a brand-snob but sometimes you want the real thing). The produce is sub-par and generally has only a couples days left before apparent expiration, the meats section always appears dirty because many of the packaged products have leaked overtime (health hazard). Also, the checkout lines are ridiculous (unless it is 3 am) you will find yourself waiting for quite sometime to checkout (with a self-checkout or an actual cashier) not to mention, the self-check out lines are rather dirty which makes scanning bar-codes a hassle. If youre capable of traveling a few extra miles for a Meijer sale, Ann Arbor or Canton are the places to go.

I used to visit this store often for everyday needs- but completely changed my mind... there customer service suckks...the workers never smile, never try to make things easy for you and love to bring up "its our store policy" statements without being helpful. There is never any help around to find stuff- there "fresh" vegetables are rarely fresh- never find good green peppers or cilantro here. They use way too many plastic bags while packing things for you and I prefer the self checkout lanes than dealing with a morose face sucky unhappy humanbeing who gets her anger out on plastic bags! I moved to the Kroger across the street- I thought i was pricey- but not really. They have decent deals too. And there fresh vegetables are really really fresh. There are several smiling faces walking around and making sure you find what you need! Totally Love this Kroger store now!!!

Utter dysfunction! The cashier was fine, with the exception of charging me full price for 2 items that were marked on sale. I also stood in line while a checkout supervisor, a millennial (With a beard that looked like he was a street begger - EXTREMELY unprofessional) who refunded money to a customer with a non-usable bridge card.. that took at least 20 minutes. The customer was shaking, jittery, as tho she needed a "fix".. after that fiasco, I approached the vagabond supervisor about the $8 overcharge, who dismissively said, "Ooh, youll have to go wait at the service desk for a refund". That was another standstill, go nowhere trainwreck, in which I was behind yet another addict waiting for some type of financial advance. After waiting in the line that NEVER moved, I left the store WITHOUT a refund. Cant say Id ever go back there.

15 January 2016 Update: I was recently checked out by a cashier who was sick. He sneezed into his hand then scanned my produce. According to this cashier, he is not allowed to have hand sanitizer at his register, which is asinine. That said, Meijer has the best cilantro (quality and price) in the area, but gosh I wish theyd give their cashiers hand sanitizer and/or paid sick days. The whole place just feels cheap like Walmart. They have tons of checkout lanes, but they still have an incredibly slow checkout process. They should have baggers to speed this up. There is not as much organic stuff as Id like, and for the life of me, I cannot find capers in a container that is not tiny and way over priced. This store falls way short of the benchmark set by HEB, the Texas grocery store chain that is the best Ive ever seen.

Literally the worst Meijer. Visibly understaffed every time I come to the store, usually you have to wait to get a cart. Sale items are usually not in stock by the end of the day, which may not be unheard of but Ive never experienced it this consistently at went other Meijer. There is almost never more than one cashier working. The lines for the self check out average 15-20 minutes. The staff have no warmth at all, probably because Ive heard them complain on multiple occasions that theyre understaffed almost all the time. This is seriously the worst managed store Ive ever been in, and its not even busy (as far as meijer goes). Ive typed this entire review on my phone waiting in line and theres still 4 carts in front of me. Pathetic. Im just going to start driving to the one in Saline or finally move on to Costco.
