Honestly the quality of food is fantastic and the delivery driver is always kind. However, the customer service isnt great. In the past Ive had pot stickers with plastic inside them, missing items upon delivery, and cold food delivered. Ive never complained because these were minor inconveniences. After tonights experience though, I wont be likely to be ordering from here again. I ordered ham fried rice, but was delivered steamed rice and the order was delivered 79 minutes after it was ordered after being told it would be 60 minutes. Either of these circumstances, Id typically let blow over or disregard. However, with both the order being about 20 minutes late and the wrong item being delivered, I decided to call the restaurant to see if something could be done. Thinking perhaps a small coupon or even a sincere apology would rectify the situation. After calling in to the restaurant and explaining the situation the receptionist simply said, "we will do better next time," in a rude tone. There was no apology and absolutely no compensation. At least after reviewing my receipt, I was not charged for the fried rice. So that comes down to an issue with who was placing the order. Regardless, the situation should have been handled differently. If they had responded with, "lets look at your receipt and refund you for your missing product, only to realize it didnt get entered in properly and I wasnt charged but they sincerely apologize for the miscommunication and next time theyll be sure to throw in some extra fortune cookies", or anything to show that they care. I would have felt much differently. I think I wont be giving my business to them in the future.

My review here is for diners that have to eat gluten-free. My wife has celiac disease, and a gluten free diet is essential. I was pleased when I saw the size of the gluten free menu - we had been searching for a GF Chinese restaurant closer to us. Sadly, their gluten-free menu is disappointing, misleading, and even dangerous to those who must eat GF. They list items such as battered Sweet and Sour Chicken, for which the coating, yes, is gluten free. However, it is fried in the same oil as the non-GF items, strongly risking contamination. The owner seemed to think this was okay. We ordered the GF Lettuce Wraps. When we got it home, I opened the container, and sitting on top of the lettuce was a container of sauce (Hoisin Sauce). Fortunately, I called to verify whether that this was indeed GF. It was not. One would assume when ordering a GF dish that the entirety of the dish was GF. Be very careful! We also ordered the Sizzling House Special. When we opened the container, there was an overwhelming smell of fish. It seems that instead of using a GF soy sauce to make the dish, they used fish sauce instead!?! It was completely inedible! SOOOO..... Unless they massively overhaul their menu, DO NOT EAT THERE if you need to be GF. Go to P.F. Changs instead. Even though the drive is further, youll have a far better experience.

My two daughters and I went to Red Maple tonight to do something special because my daughter came into town unexpectedly. It was very busy but we were seated right away which was great. However, we ordered our food and then waited and waited and waited and waited. Finally one plate was brought to us, one daughters food. Then we waited and waited and waited. We knew there was a big group in the other room, a wedding group I think, but we actually saw two groups of eight people come in after us, get their food, eat and leave while we were waiting. At one point I went over to our waitress and asked her about our food. Her answer was "We have a big group in the back. They are still cooking it". Finally after waiting for our food for an HOUR we decided to leave. When we told the cashier we were leaving and why, there was no apology or anything. It was like she didnt even care. Our feeling is if the restaurant is going to have a large group like they did tonight the management should schedule more cooks and servers to handle the extra load or close the restaurant for the party. I must say I love Red Mapless food but their service was the worst I have ever experienced anywhere ever. And I dont think I will go back there

Im pretty convinced that every positive review on here is from either family of the owners.. or employees. The driver couldnt even follow the simple direction of "call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx number" on my cell when you get here, please do not knock.. the dogs will bark and wake up my 4 month old. Not only did he knock.. he knocked on the wrong door of the duplex and pissed off the landlord who was asleep.. but the food was horrible! the ham fried rice was dry, (obviously under cooked) the cashew chicken smelled like it was made in a bathroom and the orange peel chicken and pon pon chicken was pure cartilage. I cant believe i wasted $42 on food i wouldnt even feed my dog. I should have just gone to the store, bought ingredients and made my own food. I also forgot to mention that i had to call back to get service because when i first called i was placed on hold, after waiting in silence for 13 minutes i should have listened to myself and not given them my service. Terrible customer service, even after i told the lady "Hi, i was just on hold for 13 minutes and no one checked back.. thought maybe you forgot about me" all i got in return was "ok, so would you like to order?" stay away stay away stay away stay away.

Delicious food, generous portions. Ive tried several dishes and they are all delicious so far. At first I thought they were a bit pricy, until I saw the size of the portions. Combination dinner plates start with soup and are served bento/biantang style (a large box tray with little dividers), with fried rice, noodles, cabbage salad, two battered jumbo shrimp, a spring roll, two large cream cheese wontons, and your selected dish. (7 large things plus your selection). You can also order individual dishes which come large, piled-high plates for family style dining. The main dining area is nice, the large event room is even nicer, looking like it could host oriental weddings. Servers have been excellent. I have not yet been to a dim sum session, but they are heavily advertised and appear popular. If youre not too familiar with dim sum, it is like a buffet style brought around to the tables. Given the quality of the dishes on weekdays, I imagine those are delicious as well.

We order delivery from here often. Spending $30-$50 per order at least 3 or 4 times per week. We order the same combination of about 4 items from the menu. Tonight we ordered again and with the egg roles we ordered two hot mustard because I only eat egg rolls with hot mustard. It came with no hot mustard. None. We called back because I cant eat them without it. They said too bad. We are too busy tonight with a party of 140 people. We were told they would do nothing about it. My husband took the food back to them and they said he would need to wait an hour. He left it and asked them to deliver it. An hour or more later it came and we were told that we no longer could get delivery only pickup. That is what loyalty gets you! You would think they would see how much we pay them on a weekly basis. We didnt ask for free food. We just wanted the additional mustard that we paid for.
