I didnt know about this place until my coworker told me about it. It is the greatest discovery ever especially during the cold winter, I do crave a warm nice soup noodle. The service here is super quick, so if you can spare an hour for pho, do come here. My coworker and I came here around noon, and there was a crowd but we got our food super quick too. I ordered the pho with angus beef and beef balls. I also added the garlic paste on it. I totally recommend the garlic paste, but do notice that the garlic paste will leave a smell in your mouth so have mouthwash or gum available. If youre a vampire...skip it, it might kill you. Lol. The broth was super rich, the meat was tender, and the noodles was cooked perfectly. There was also a ton of onion in my broth too...so if you dont like onions Im not sure this pho is for you. This is a great place with great food that doesnt cost a lot. Totally worth coming here.

I just got my lunch to go ( black guy in a suit that forgot his card back at work, left his phone and came back and paid for his meal that one time) and there was hair in it. placed in such a way that it would be the first thing i see when i open the box. i am nice and respectful and tip $2 on the meals i buy here that cost 9.81 after tax. ive never had a problem before. but this isnt cool. i work at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown and The Historic Peery Hotel, i recommend a lot of the guest that stay here to your restaurant for lunch and dinner. but will not be doing so any more. like seriously Not Cool! i rarely get out of work to eat and tossed the whole thing away. i am venting because i dont have time to walk back to your restaurant and talk to you. and i will not be returning.

I loved Pleiku! The flavors were all exciting and fresh, the right blends to make the whole meal enjoyable. I had the lunch special, Lemongrass+sauteed onions with crispy tofu. The tofu was nice and crisp on the outside, and creamy and warm on the inside. I think it was some of the best prepared tofu Ive had. My friend had the Caramelized Pork + Eggrolls Pleiku bowls. Thats probably what Ill get next time because the pork was also amazing. The portions are generous, we both took part of our meals home, so the price point for me was perfect. I felt the waitstaff did their job well, I was never without water, which is important to me. Ill definitely go here next time Im in SLC.

Stopped by here after getting over a cold to get warmed up with some hearty Pho, and was pleasantly surprised. For an appetizer, we had the fresh spring rolls (shrimp and lettuce wrapped in rice paper). I had the combination Pho which included rare beef, beef ball, brisket, and tendon. My boyfriend had a caramelized pork + egg roll Pleiku Bowl. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, and delicious. The Pho broth in particular was fragrant and rich. The pork in the Pleiku bowl was so good that I couldnt help stealing a few bites. The meal was very reasonably priced. Im looking forward to going back.

The food is *okay*, but it was not worth what I paid for, imo. That being said, Im willing to believe I might have just picked the wrong items for my boyfriend and I, and would possibly try it out again soon (this was a few months ago). I will disclose that I ordered a soup with "seafood", and that I was not a fan of it at all. Boyfriend thought his soup was okay. The lettuce wraps were also okay; everything was a bit pricy (for what it is) though. They have plenty of competition in the valley though, so I certainly hope a second time is not also disappointing.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. This "modern Vietnamese " restaurant is so pretentious and over priced its ridiculous. Just because of its downtown location and the fact that they play hipster music doesnt mean anyone should pay $10 for a bowl of pho. Its not even that good. They have a "special" spicy ginger pho that costs $1.00 extra so.... How is that a special? When asked this, the waiter gave me an attitude. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese food at a decent price. Save your money and go out to West Valley.

This place got me into pho (not enough for me to learn how to actually pronounce it, but enough for me to not feel bad about eating my oversized portion and part of my wifes too). Great atmosphere, though it doesnt feel like a traditional Vietnamese restaurant. Service was timely and friendly. Just overall nothing to complain about. Maybe the bathroom could have been cleaner, but thats a stretch, honestly. I mean, Im just going for the food. And they have that on LOCK.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing - the food, atmosphere, prices, and menu options are superb. The portions are generous, and my 3-year-olds leftover food was even delicious on the second day. We stayed just one night in SLC and walked over to Pleiku from our downtown hotel - knowing there is amazing food in this city makes me want to come back!

My husband and I had WONDERFUL dining experience here last night as soon as they opened at 5pm. The atmosphere was delightful, peaceful, and beautiful. Great Good! I had the Lemongrass tofu pleiku noodle bowl, and it was FANTASTIC. I highly recommend this establishment. They even had highchairshighchair so you could bring your kids. Enjoy!!

Ok if you have never been here it is a must try. They have weekday lunch combos that are delicious. However.... I go for the PHO!! It is amazing! The broth is so yummy. I get the vegetable pho with the beef broth but you can certainly get veggie broth too. Soooo good! Hidden gem in downtown SLC!

Went there on a Friday night. The place was quite empty. But, the food was great, the servers very friendly and the house music they played (not too loud/chill) was awesome. The summer rolls tasted great and so did the Pleiku bowl. The pad thai was very spicy and had a good flavor. Will come back

Cool atmosphere. Doesnt feel like SLC at all. Drinks are super creative and delicious, good price too. The food is delish and service is great! Not too busy on the weekends because they havent been at this location very long. Try it before it gets discovered, so you dont have to wait!

The food was amazing! We orderd Pho Do Bien (seafood) and caramelized pork pleiku bowl. The tapas we ordered were the cream cheese wontons and fresh spring rolls. The staff was so friendly and helpful! Its beautifully designed and a really fun atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Been there twice. Both times the food was great. First time, the service was excellent. Last night, it was dismal. The place wasnt crowded, and the server would just vanish for extended periods. The party that came in after us left after giving up on someone taking their order.

The womens bathroom smelled strongly of urine. The toilet had someones leftover feces in it. When I flushed, the toilet was stained yellow. They have completely neglected the cleaning duties. It looked, and smelled like the bathroom hadnt been cleaned for a month or more.
