Real Chinese restaurant ever in AZ. Dont judge a book by its cover everyone! I love this place despite the small space, I still extremely like the warmth inside there. Service could be understandable cuz they are working in a really Asian style whichmade this restaurant unique in their own Chinese way for years, haha. Foods are good-looking and super tasty too. I cant stop myself from looking around another tables foods as they are all attractive. Price is so reasonable with the big amount of food for up to 4 people to share. Actually when you come in in the evening especially on weekends you would have to wait for a while as they are super busy to deal with all customers at the same time. They were nice to me all manager , waitress and even Chef. ALL IN ALL, I LOVE NEE HOUSE AND WOULD RECOMMEND YOU GUYS TO COME AND ENJOY WHAT REALLY CALLED "CHINESE FOOD". TURN DOWN FOR WHAT!!!

Fantastic food and excellent prices. Would not return or recommend to others however due to extremely impersonal and unfriendly service. Very uncomfortable atmosphere but a good place to take food to GO! 10 months since the last review. Wanted to give establishment a second chance. Same as before. Customer service is terrible!!! Very uncomfortable. Took a Senior Citizen as a lunch mate who has been a customer for over 7 yrs. She will never eat there again. Food was cold. Asked for a warm up. Serious attitude. Servers, twice as rude. Knocked into by server entering establishment. Server just laughed and acted like nothing happened. I hope this place of business closes down. The food quality since 10 mo. ago has gone down as well. Prices still good. Food and service, abdominable!!!!!! Food poor, service belligerent and poor. BETTER SERVICE AT MCDONALDS!!

The rock cod melts in your mouth (its called Rock Cod and vegetables). Highly recommend the "Sauteed A Vegetable" which has this unusual (for Americans) sauce. We liked very much the scallops with black bean sauce and the spicy eggplant. Weve been a couple times before, but I go back for the fish. Ive read a ton of warnings about the frostiness of the servers. This is not Postinos on a slow afternoon where the sweet servers will talk to you forever. This is a good old-school Chinese place with really fresh seafood. Dont expect a new best friend. And get that Rock Cod!

The food here is always fresh and delicious. The service is okay. Not super friendly but Fast and efficient. I definitely recommend you come here the first time for their lunch special. You can get an entree plus rice plus a Negril for roughly $8. Its a good way to try out the menu. The fried rice does not have vegetables in it its basically white rice thrown in a pan and its slightly Brown. Im not sure exactly what they cook it with but it doesnt taste like other places

Terrible. Pot stickers were so overcooked, they crunched like raw pasta. Very obviously frozen previously. Gross. If youre ordering the pineapple chicken, be prepared to sift through lots of huge chunks of ginger. I enjoy very spicy foods, and understand ginger for flavor, but chunks that look just like the pineapple? So unbelievably bitter. Would not refund. I was really looking forward to this place, given the previous reviews. Dont waste your time or money.

I just had the worst service Ive ever had anywhere. Walked in planning to order to-go. Waited at the front for several minutes and finally had to flag a girl down. Asked very basic questions about the menu and got pure attitude. They would not add tofu to my noodle and vegetable dish. WHAT CHINESE RESTAURANT CANT DO THIS??? Got our food quick- a little too quick. We would have been better off going to Panda Express. I definitely will not be back.

I bought a take-out roast duck, which is not done at all, because you can see the blood in the duck meat after I cut it. but they refuse to exchange it, their reasons are because I dont know to cut a duck and because I picked it up 20 minutes late. this is so ridiculous, first whether a duck is done or not should not depend on how one cuts it!! Secondly, even i came later that should not make the roast duck "un-done".

This is great little mom and pop Chinese restaurant. The food is great and priced very reasonably. This restaurant is very clean and casual. I would describe the food as very authentic. Although service is usually good, at busy times there could be a long wait and service could become a bit "dodgy". So if you find yourself there on a busy night, make sure you bring your patience with you, the food is worth it!

I love Nee House!!! However, I understand the other reviewers´ frustration with the service. However, and forgive me for generalizing or stereotyping, frank and somewhat impersonal service is pretty much the standard in authentic Chinese restaurants. It is all about the food, and Nee House has that covered. Their portion sizes are generous and their food is both delicious and authentic.

Wow....what a dump. Very, very, very RUDE help. This was the 4th time eating there and it just kept getting worse. Where do they find their help? The food is not that great either. Most is over cooked until it is soggy. Fried rice has absolutely no taste and the rice is hard. Stay away, there are other better places to eat in the valley than here.

Looks like my old high school cafeteria. The most important thing everyone should know is Im pretty sure they cook with MSG, I felt dizzy and light headed after lunch there which is a side affect MSG has given me my whole life. If you eat here be sure to say "NO MSG". I agree with other reviewers here, service is horrible but prices are OK.

Fabulous. The wait staff was a bit gruff, bet the food was fast and more than made up for any failings, which were minor I had scallops xo sauce and my partner had garlic shrimp. Both were excellent. As was the hot and sour soup.

Excellent food.. the best black bean sauce dishes and hot and sour soup - the "tell" of an authentic chinese place. Another "tell" - rude and impersonal service. Enjoy - it is part of the authentic chinese dining experience.

My GF and I stopped in for some food and found the staff too busy sitting around a table discussing the Nintendo DS to take our order... So, the service was so poor, that I am not able to sample what I HEAR is a good menu

Food quality and seafood entrees not usually found at conventional Chinese restaurants. They prepare crab, fish and lobster from their on premises live holding tanks.
