I came here on the recommendation of a co-worker who said its really good. I will say that the portion sizes are very good for what you pay for. I just think that even though the food was fresh, the taste wasnt really that great. I had General Tsos chicken and the sauce was actually not good. It had a weird taste to it. Ive had Generals Tsos chicken hundreds of times at numerous locations throughout the valley and I must say that this was probably the worst. It lacked flavor, it wasnt spicy at all. It was bland and forgettable. My wife got the sweet and sour pork. I did like that they keep the sauce on the side. The sweet and sour sauce was very good. This entree would be something I would order again. We both got combination plates which includes Ham fried rice and an Egg roll. The Ham fried rice is bland, needs better seasoning. I dont eat ham fried rice to only dump a bunch of soy sauce on it. Very forgettable. The egg roll was sad and pathetic. I LOVE egg rolls and spring rolls, but this was just a crispy small version of one with nothing inside. It tasted like a fried wonton wrapper, nothing more. Too bad really. 2 combination plates set me back about $15. Really good price point considering the amount of food you get. I just wish it tasted better.

It is a great value as far as Chinese food goes. For $7 or do you can get a good amount of ham fried rice, an egg roll, and an entree - thats pretty good! They are insanely fast. On my last visit, I called in my order just down the street. I had paid and was walking out with my food 7 minutes later. To be clear though, you could probably order the General Taos chicken, the Hot and Spicy chicken, and the Sesame Seed chicken and not be able to tell the difference between any of them. The food is fairly bland and not at all spicy. I throw on the sky sauce and crushed red pepper to help it along. But like I said, it isnt priced like the Mandarin and it didnt taste like it either. Its good for what it is though - quick and cheap Chinese food. A way better alternative to something like Panda Express.

I dont know what everyone is raving about. I have tried this place a several times over the past two years and been disappointed every time. The food just isnt that good. It doesnt have a pleasant taste but is edible if paired with a sauce. I have tried to give them numerous opportunities to prove it was just an anomaly but it is the same every time I go. In addition, some members of the counter staff seem surly and unpleasant nearly every time I have visited. Maybe its just my palette. Maybe I have a personality that irks the staff. It looks like other people like this place. I hope you have a better experience than I have had.

Pros: Incredibly cheap. You can get a lot of food for $7. Cons: The food is very bland. I got General Tsos Chicken and my wife got the Curry Chicken. We also got potstickers. The General Tsos chicken was soggy (no crispiness at all to the chicken) and had absolutely zero spice even though the menu indicated that it was spicy. Similarly, my wifes curry chicken had next to no curry flavor and tasted very bland.

I showed up and ordered takeout for my family of 4. The food was ready in 10 minutes. It was delicious and the serving sizes were very generous. This place seems more of a call in ahead and pick up your takeout kind of place. There was booth seating side for about 25 people, but on a Saturday evening at 7, I only saw one booth being used. The other people in the restaurant were waiting for a takeout order.

If youre looking for hot and spicy, Empire is not for you, but the typical cantonese cuisine is served up fresh and savory. The Mai Fun here is among the best. Empire Chineese is better than ever in its new location, just two doors down from the original spot. Along with a new view comes new fixtures and furniture but the recipies are unchanged and as delicious as ever.

I come here twice a month for the last 10 years. This place is small, cozy, comfy, clean, safe and Katherine, the owner, is a sweet honest Chinese lady, serving a LOT of food for the small price of most meals. They will even custom made it anyway u want it!!

I have very much enjoyed this food for a while and yet not written a review. I finally realized that I had to because of how awesome these people are who run this restaurant. I have never had a negative visit or meal from them. Cheese wontons are the best!

I was shocked when I didnt see that Empire had a overall 5 star review (which they deserve). I have been coming here for 15 years and they are always busy because it is that good. With that said go enjoy some awesome food for a great price at Empire.

This is a pretty standard take out Chinese restaurant. They have all the standard menu items youve come to expect. The chicken entrees arent very good, but with that excpetion they make decent food. There is seating for a dine in experience.

I cant get enough of this place! My wife and I go here often and the food is hot, fast and fresh about 90% of the time. The people who own/work here are very friendly. Check it out of youre looking for a hole in the wall Chinese takeout place.

Best Chinese takeout in Centerville/Bountiful/Farmington. Ive been to maybe 6 or 7 Chinese takeout places in the area and this one is by far the best. The General Tsos, sesame chicken, and hot and sour soup are my favorites!

Surprised this place gets such great reviews. My food was pretty sub-par. Got the sweet and sour chicken and fried rice, and I was really disappointed. The price didnt make up for the difference in food quality.
