The service was great! But the food...... I love chicken tikka masala and from reading the reviews I expected something phenomenal.... its full of red dye and when I took my first bite I was disgusted, I couldnt even tell if it was REAL chicken or not! It had a gummy texture. GROSS! And the lamb was OK. The quality of their meats SUCKS!! The palak paneer was overcooked and the cheese in it was undercooked... how IDK. The rice and naan was good, raita good, and the rice pudding for dessert... but thats all that was worth eating of all the options they had. I see why the lunch buffet is 9 bucks... cheap low quality Indian food..... but our waiter was nice and very attentive to all of his tables.

We went there once for dinner and it was fine. We went there for lunch and it was such a bad experience. We had to wait by the door until someone seated us. They took us to an empty table that was still filled with dishes from the last party there. We were told to just grab our food and that they would clean it when we got back. We went to line up for the buffet and there were no clean plates. The food was almost all gone and the selection was terrible. We just sort of stood around until someone told us to sit at some small table because the first table would not be ready. We just left because it was a mess. We are never going back to that place again.

This place is AWESOME! Raj I think he is one of the owners is seriously the best ever. I bring all of my friends here for the Spicy Level 10 Chicken Tiki Masala and Carrot Pudding. They know me by my face and order and are always so happy to see me. It is a wonderful vibe and such AMAZING AUTHENTIC FLAVORS. This is my favorite Indian Place to go to and I drive from San Diego to come so YES COME AND EAT HERE YOU WILL LOVE IT! <3

The waiters were very kind, and filled our waters often. Unfortunately, there was an overwhelming air freshener smell in the restaurant (a mix between incense and urinal cakes). It was nauseating and made enjoying the food difficult. There were not as many vegetarian options at the buffet as other Indian buffets, but what they had had good flavor for the price ($9 for AYCE). -1 star for the aroma of the restaurant.

I used to go to the farther location but since they opened once close to the University Ive been going to this one! Their lunch buffets are awesome! The chicken masala is delicious!! If youre lucky they have goat curry sometimes! But honestly, that fresh naan, the best! Definitely a place to check out and very reasonably priced for their lunch buffet!

I think their service and food is excellent. Delivery is usually an hour. The food is fresh and hot when it arrives. I e had a fish curry and veggie curry and both were really good. They dont spice it too much and its tasty. I would order from them again when I have a craving for Indian food.

I really loved this restaurant. The people who worked there were very nice and at the end of the night they gave us free extra dessert! Their Chicken Tikka Masala was very good if a bit too creamy. The Lamb Korma was absolutely divine! I will definitely be going back soon.

After having graduated from UCR in 2008 and having tried tikka masala from various other restaurants in socal, norcal, and even one popular location in London, I still find Punjab Palaces the best. The owners extremely friendly, too.

I wanted a quick bite and ordered their wings. It came with a tasty side salad. The wings were delicious. Not a fried wing, but a grilled wing coated in a curried sauce. Im definitely coming back here to try their other dishes.
