Asian food with a twist! Found this place when zupas and tonyburgers just didnt sound good today. When I walked in I was a little shocked when I saw the menu because it was like no Asian food I had ever seen! They had sandwiches, tacos, rice bowls and some other things. I was expecting some sesame chicken or something. I decided what the heck Ill give it a try. I was utterly impressed! I got the brown rice bowl with chicken and the curry and sweet sauce mixed. It was sweet and slightly spicy and loaded with flavor! The employee called the mix super sauce haha! I will definitely be back. This is a must try! Do not be weirded out by the different look of their Asian food. It is super fresh and high quality. They also have organic soda.

This is the Chipotle of Asian food. It is so yummy and fresh. I usually dont eat at chains but this place had a "local" feel and great quality. The decor is nice and calming. The staff at this location is so friendly and every time Ive been in, theyve made great recommendations. This shows that they know their food which is important to me. This is my go to place when I want quick, low-price Asian food. I have yet to try their banh-mi but I always get the bowls with different sauces and toppings. So far, I love all of it! Also, I wish they had a soup that the broth wasnt pork based. If they made a beef one, Id be all over it!

I was on my way to Rubios in Murray, for lunch and heard "free food" and thought I would check out what kind of food. First off, I have celiac disease, so my first question was if they had gluten free options, the gentleman that I spoke with was VERY knowledgeable about the issue and was very helpful. When I told the line staff that I had a gluten allergy, they all were very informative and remembered to change their gloves (which rarely actually happens) when handling my food. I was already a huge fan before even trying the food, however, when I did, I was not disappointed. Everything about this experience was wonderful.

What a great place! I had never tried it even though there is one a few blocks from my house. I ordered the Zao tacos and I got one chicken, one steak, and one meatball (which was recommended to me by the server, he even gave me a sample and I was sold). The server made sure to ask if we were gluten free or had any other questions or concerns before placing the order. All the ingredients were so fresh and blended so well together. I was totally stuff and barely finished my third taco. Loved it and I plan on returning to try the other menu items.

Tastes fresh, hearty, healthy, and delicious. They have figured out a way to serve delicious, customized food in minimal time. The price was well worth it. I love how this restaurant doesnt waste money on frills and decorations, so that all the money is in the food. I had the steak rice bowl, with the curry sauce. My kids gobbled up their kid rice bowls, as well. My new go-to place for asian--unfortunately it is 25 minutes from my house or I would eat there more often.

Love the food!! Service is usually good. However they do have an employee that needs to watch her tone of voice and make sure she puts a smile on her face. Just had an unpleasant experience as she was very obviously annoyed that she had to get up and walk away from the other employees, that were on break eating at a table nearby, so I could pay for my meal. Wish I could give a higher rating.

Great casal dining restaurant serving Asian food in many forms; bowl, taco, sandwich, salad and soup. I had a veggie bowl. All bowls come with a choice of white or brown rice. My veggie bowl came with green beans, corn, peppers and more. The staff are super friendly and are out to make sure you have a satisfying meal. Our bill for two bowls was about $18.

Big fan of this place - good prices and love that they have tofu options. My only complaint is that some of their sauces are really salty. I also wish they listed their sauces up on their menu board, because they dont do a great job of explaining which ones are available. A lower sodium option of their sauces would also be very welcome.

Stellar. Simply stellar. This food is SO up my culinary alley. Fresh. Flavorful. Healthy. Organic. SPICY (only if you want it to be). I could eat here every day, and its my new "go to" for business lunches! The steak tacos are my favorite (not only my favorite thing on the menu, but one of my favorite food items ever). I love, love, LOVE this place! The food tastes great and is healthy and I am always impressed with the customer service. The staff are always smiling and giving helpful and delicious recommendations. They also have great tasting Maine root soda thats "organic". I definitely recommend this place!

This is one of Utahs finest Asian fusion restaurants with a unique menu of inspired foods. The tacos are so packed with flavor and delicious ingredients. Youre sure to enjoy the experience in this modern restaurant. The only bad part is finding parking, as this food court is always packed!

For a fast food place, Zao is excellent, very fresh and tasty! Quick service which is great because its very busy during peak lunch and dinner times. Zao is very much like Cafe Rio with an Asian twist. Its a bit pricey with a drink, expect to pay $10+. There is limited outdoor seating.

Its like Asian mexican fusion, which sounds pretty crazy but the food is pretty legit. Its structured a lot like Chipotle, I always get the salad which is good, they add rice noodles to it too which is cool. Their soft drinks are also like organic, local flavors which is pretty cool.

My wife and I were looking for something quick and stopped in on a whim. Very glad that we did. Rice bowls w/ curry were an explosion of flavor, edamame guacamole and chips were awesome. The desert was great. Kudos to the staff, very friendly and the place was clean

They have pretty decent Asian food here. Nothing fully "authentic" but still does a pretty good job at it. Theyre pretty fast with service and are decently nice when questions are asked. Id come back for a quick lunch if Im not sure what Im in the mood for.

Great fresh, fast food alternative. I love the Banh Mi with the toasted baguette. Mate it with double meat and you might not be able to finish it. Love the noodle bowl and asian tacos too. If you do the noodle bowl, ask for super sauce, its delicious.

This place is so good. I had my first banh mi so I dont know how the quality and taste compares but it was really good. It has decent room for seating. The employees were absolutely fantastic. They were so friendly. Im coming back for a take out.

Been to much better Fast Asian Food Restaurants.You dont get very much food at Zao. What you do get is not bad, but not great either. It most certainly is not worth the money you pay. If it was half the price, then I wouldve been happy.
