Terrible service! Would give no stars at all if possible! My bf and I went to pick up a take out order through their drive thru. The window was open, but there was no one to be seen. After yelling "hello?" through the window several times, a chef was singing as he walked past the window. He saw us, but didnt acknowlege us. We yelled through the window several more times. Another chef walked by, saw us, didnt acknowlege us either, and proceeded to cook just barely within sight of the window. Fairly angry now, we yelled through the window "Hello?! Could we please get some help?!" The chef just barely within sight, peeked around the wall hiding him, and looked at us with a blank and stupified expression. "Were here to pick up a take out order! Could we please get some help?!" The chef replied with a dull & uncaring "oh" before turning around to call to a coworker. His coworker arrived a couple minutes later, and we were FINALLY able to get our order. What should have only been a few minutes process, took over 20 minutes. Terrible AF service and bad tasting food to boot. After leaving, I researched them online and found that theyve had some atrocious food violations, some of the most and worst ever in SLC, being forced to close completely until they met all of the food regulation guidelines. Im honestly in complete shock that this restaurant is still open.

I had the shrimp with green beans and black bean sauce. It was FANTASTIC. The green beans were crisp and flavorful. The shrimp were good sized and cooked just right. The sauce was delicious. I tasted some other dishes on the table and the only ones I liked were the ones with the green beans. There was a fish dish that was bland and unappetizing. The food was plentiful, and came out fast. I didnt taste the eggrolls or the pot stickers, so I cant say if they were good, but everyone I went with tucked in. We were with a group of 10 people. Most got their food right away, but 3 ladys at the table who ordered combo plates had to wait for about 15 minutes before their dishes arrived even though we ordered at the same time. They didnt have plates like the rest of us, so they couldnt eat anything we had on the family style rotating plate thingy. The service was not great but it was a small space. I dont really care about being treated like a diva, I just like good food that is served on clean plates with clean silverware. Getting the check was the hardest part. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going the entire 45 minutes we were there. The group I was with recommended the tofu, pot stickers, egg rolls and anything with green beans and the black bean sauce.

This place reminds me of a few restaurants in the San Fran China Town. Friendly (though sometimes absent-minded) staff, great food, and a loud kitchen. My husband doesnt like Little World much. He thinks he gets sick eating there... but Ive never got sick myself. I like to go with a couple friends and order from their family dinner menu. Depends on how many people there are in your party, you can choose from Dinner for 3 or more. You order from their specialty menu, which has some very authentic choices. You also get their soup of the day with the dinner. Ive also been in with only a girlfriend and myself and ordered the dinner for 3. I was stuffed and had a lot of leftovers to take home, but it was a really good deal. Otherwise make sure you try some dishes from their specialty menu, food such as salt shrimp, fatty pork, eggplants, etc... they are the best! Oh and you have to try their potstickers! They are so good!

I ve eaten there dozens of times. Was always good.Ordered General chicken for the first time...take out. Got it home, opened the container, DID NOT look anything like any General chicken Ive eaten from ANY chinese restaurant over the past 40 years. Figured I was given the wrong order.Drove back, and was told it WAS General chicken, and I was stuck with it...It looked like sweet and sour chicken, with large cuts of chicken and vegetables, with a few pepper flakes added to a light, clear sauce. The thing that bothers me most is I wasnt offered the opportunity to get something else. In my opinion, this is NO way to treat a loyal customer.Ill eat from the chinese restaurant just up the street from now on.By the way, there was nothing wrong with this dish, just not what I wanted, and received AWFUL customer service.

If you are looking for a "dirty" Chinese restaurant then this is the place for you. They dont appear to like customers and the staff yell at each other on a regular basis so you know that it is legit. The reason I only gave Little World three stars is because everything but the gyoza was just mediocre. I have wanted to go back many times but never made it. Some of the dishes sounded very strange and the food my wife got was not at all what she was expecting and she didnt really like it at all. I will go back and maybe I will adjust my review then. Prices are good and the food is food so dont be afraid to give it a go. At least you will have laughed once or twice at the people and things going on so it will be worth it.

I am a food fanatic. I never write reviews, but the food at Little World is ridiculously good. Dont mind the atmosphere, because Little World is only concerned with the quality of the food. Im sure they know they have superior cuisines or theyd have to modernize the interior to adjust for sub-par chinese. The service is average, but to be honest they could be the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld provided they keep making the most addictive chow mein in all of Utah, which you should order Cantonese style. It has a China Town feel with a better than China Town taste. I just wish they posted a menu online. I live in West Jordan and whenever I feel like Chinese I have no problem making the trip downtown.

This was the worst experience ever! I asked for a coke and they brought me a cup with ice and a can of coke. I asked if there was free refills (as normal restaurants have them, I figured their machine was broken) the waitress said no. Then I asked how much I was paying (for my can of coke) then she told me $1.45!!!!! For a freaking can of coke I know they paid 25¢ for!!! REDICULOUS AND TREMENDOUSLY OVERPRICED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE ENDED UP PAYING $80 and for what? Dont ask me! The bill was in chineese. For all I know they could have been talking crap on me. Im never coming back. What a trashy over priced place. NOT RECOMENDED.

We order from Little World to cater our work meetings fairly often. Everyone at my office loves it because the food is great and we get a ton of it for much cheaper than other places. When I order from here for myself, I can count on leftovers to feed me and my husband for a few days. The service is not the best by most peoples standards, but you just have to get used to it-- theyre actually usually pretty easy to work with for catering and stuff. I definitely recommend getting your food to go though since the ambiance isnt that great! Try the deep fried tofu!
