Absolutely terrible first impression. We had never been before and decided to try it on a whim, went in and ordered, and proceeded to wait over 45 minutes for our plates. Now, the food itself was pretty decent, Ill give it that; however, I got just a small handful of chicken with a mountain of brown rice, and barely enough sauce to cover the chicken, let alone the massive pile of rice. So, the rice was pretty dry, and I asked for a little cup of extra sauce to mix into the rice, and after another 20 minutes, as the rice was getting steadily colder and colder, I still had no sauce. I asked the same person again for it, and was told that it was "still coming," as if they had to make a whole new batch just for me or something, so I resorted to good ol fashioned soy sauce so that I could at least start putting a dent in the rice, and 10 minutes later, as I was finishing the rice, I still had not seen any sauce. By this point, my girlfriend had attempted to use the restroom, where she found no toilet paper, and we were both getting increasingly frustrated. So, as we get up to leave, the person I had asked twice for extra sauce thanked us far coming in and wished us well, which was appreciated, but upon chiding that Id be sure to bring my own extra sauce next time, I received an, "Oh, I totally forgot about that," which irritated me even more because I watched him walk over to the chef station to ask for it when I first requested it. Not sure how you can just "forget" about something that had been requested twice, especially when there were all of about only four other patrons in the establishment, but the staunch lack of urgency demonstrated by the staff and overall poor customer service leaves me very unsure as to whether or not Ill ever go back—even for takeout.

I am a business professional who has lived in Fort Union for 8 years now. Up until about a year and a half ago, I was frequenting this Pei Wei location once to twice per week. The food was good and consistent. So was the service. This is not the case anymore. Something has to have happened in management or ownership. I do not eat here as often as I used to, for the reason that I cannot place an order anymore without there being an issue with the following: Attitude with the employees taking the order (Tyler this evening 1-4-17), incorrect order/missing items in order (no sauce for example many times), waiting for up to 30-45 minutes for carryout when I was told 10-15, even a plastic wrapper found in my food. Why do I keep eating here? Good question for anyone to ask after reading this review. I think its time to give up on a company who clearly has lost interest in quality.

Mediocre food, terrible service. Ordered a small rice dish with lettuce cups. Cashier repeated order asking rice or fried rice. I said, lettuce cups. I pay the bill, realize on the receipt it said large bowl with fried rice. I asked to clarify. Manager comes over does somethings, says they adjusted the bill and will get me a small with lettuce cups. I asked if they needed my card for refund, he assured me no need. I take my order, look inside; its a large with fried rice.... At this point I just gave up trying and left. Later on my credit bill, I was charged the full large with fried rice (who couldve guessed) Cherry on top? They didnt include utensils nor napkins. Not sure if a fortune cookie is usually included but Im never returning again to check.

Ridiculous experience at Pei Wei (Fort Union) tonight - horrible timing, horrible service, & the Ft. Union location needs some serious order organization assistance. We received the four items our family ordered at varied times between 15 and 45 minutes apart. Our wonton soup came out (for my 11 yr. old) first without any wontons at all (spinach soup is gross), we had to send it back. My sesame chicken came out to our table 3x as sesame beef, though I validated with the cashier was chicken on the order...Pretty unsatisfying experience, and I dont care to go back. The manager wasnt apologetic or empathetic and came off rude. Do yourself a favor and avoid dining in, get it to go (if at all), & check for all items, twice.

My wife and I ate here. Sauce in both meal were overpowering. In my Mongolian steak the sauce was overly salty. In my wifes had the honey seared chicken and the sauce was too sweet. I think they use too much vinegar in the recipe and have to add more sugar to balance it. Honestly the food is overpriced. You could go to panda and get larger portions for less money, or you could go to pj Changs and get much better food for just couple more dollars. Our food wasnt served at the same time, this is a beef I have with places. A properly managed kitchen should be able to serve a table of two within 2 minutes of each. Ideally the food would come together, but having to wait more than five minutes is ridiculous.

"Sorry were out of chicken", so i get the kids teriyaki with steak. My friend orders after me, same thing, "were out of chicken", then my friend asks if they wont upcharge her for a different meat since theyre out of chicken and asked for the CHICKEN Pod Thai. The cashier then goes to the back and asks the manager what to do. So he comes back and theyve magically found some chicken.... Got our meals. I get mine with water rather than teriyaki sauce and the steak is extremely tough. My friend gets her meal, chicken is tough. This is why I dont eat here. Save your stomach for the 5 guys next door. Youll get better food and better service.

Horrible experience at this Pei Wei pretty much every time!! Today for example, I placed an online order. When I went in to pick it up at the time they told me too, it wasnt ready and they also informed me that there was NO RICE and they didnt know how long it would take for rice to be ready. Keep in mind, this was mentioned to me, after I paid. Then, it took an additional ten minutes for the food to be prepared and then I left, just to find out I had no sauce with my appetizer and my food was not even what I ordered. I highly suggest not eating here.

Had a terrible experience here. Ordered to go and the food took forever to be prepared. After about 15-20 mins I asked how long it would be and they said they were backed up and it would still be a wait. Around the 45-60 min mark I went up to ask for a refund and to cancel my order. It turns in all of their back kitchen confusion my order had been finished, boxed and sitting in a back getting cold for 30 mins or so. Never once called my name in all that time. The food was unappetizing, most likely due to sitting for over 30 mins getting cold.

My boss and I decided to go to Pei Wei for lunch today as we have quite enjoyed the food at other locations. However, both times at the Fort Union location we have waiting far too long for our food. Today we waiting for over an HOUR for our food because they had given it to other people. When we finally received our food my order was TOTALLY wrong - they messed up everything I requested except the sauce. The service was terrible and gosh so slow. Do not recommenced this location if you want your lunch to take less than two hours.
