AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST LATE AT NIGHT! We have made the mistake of going there twice after 2am on a Saturday. The first time we didnt know, the second time we decided to give it another shot. So, heres the problem. As anyone that knows the area will tell you, Zion City is RIGHT by this i-Hop. The place is FULL of cursing drunk people to the point where it is constantly patrolled by 4 BRPD officers. The latest time we were there, they had to escort an entire table of about 8 out the restaurant because they were cursing at the top of their lungs and fighting. If you value your life stay away from this place. We ended up leaving our table and just ordering to go, all the while being stared at because we left our table. The staff by the computer to the right where you walk in were talking and cursing to each other about how a bus boy didnt want to clear some tables and literally said "that mothaf*Ck3R better clear that (insert curse word here)....." right in front of customers. THAT alone will give you an idea what is acceptable at this i-Hop location late at night. When we got home, we noticed we were missing items from our order. I guess the cooks were too busy either cursing out back, having a smoke, or had already been escorted out the building by the police, OR maybe he was outside "being gangsta". Truly amazed this location hasnt been shut down. Its VERY obvious though it never will be because its always packed with the same crowd. NEVER again. I can only hope i-Hop corporate isnt aware of these conditions, which I assume they are though, since someone has to be paying for the FOUR Baton Rouge Police Dept officers that are inside because of these people.

I went with my family for mothers day. Note: It felt like all of Baton Rouge went with their family for mothers day to this Ihop. So, they had to deal with a huge influx of people. First off, they professionally took down your name, looked and called for you inside and outside. They speedily worked! It took little time to sit down at a clean table. Very friendly waitress, memorized every change I wanted to my order. The manager was all over the place, going table to table and asking how everyone is doing! When we left, they gave all of the mothers in my group a carnation! I fell in love with their management. Thank you IHOP.

I go there for breakfast food. My husband and I have a standing Saturday morning date there. Sometimes we meet with friends and always we see friends there. The men of our church go there 3rd Sundays. The staff always greets us and the servers always know what our favorites are. The manager and owner always come to say hello to everyone. We had one poor server there once but all the rest have been very good. My husband has favorite servers and the others will accommodate that when they see us coming. Nice family atmosphere and clean.

That was my LAST time giving this location the benefit of the doubt! I should have turned around as soon as my husband and I walked in. Two servers were going back and forth on who was going to seat the next customers. But no, I proceeded to follow the winner. Drink order was placed along with our food order. All is well it seems, but 20 minutes later and empty glasses there was no sign of our server. So I left a dollar bill for the glass of water and coffee and left the building. Under new management my tail!

Stopped in after a long morning of air travel. My two year old was nothing short of a holy terror, however the entire staff was so nice and tried everything they could think to console her. Penny, out server was just the sweetest, finding paper and crayons since they were out of coloring sheets. I know no one likes a screaming child in a restaurant and the staff, especially Penny never batted an eyelash. Thanks for making this weary mommy traveler feel a little more comfortable!

Thankful thankful thankful! 600 + mile, 10 hr trip to get my daddy back to his doctors, 2 days, hours on end at the hospital with him and I can barely move! I called a to-go order and asked the young lady if she could bring it out to me because of how much pain I was in! She was so sweet about it and such a blessing got my order out there quick to me and just such a blessing! Really over the top guys thanks so much!

I ordered steak omelette and she told me it would take 15 minutes in which it took every bit of 30 minutes. I went across the street to pump gas and came back she said its coming right now only for the cook to just start cooking it. Highly upset and find out that pancakes comes with this and when I say they were not cooked all the way, batter was in the inside. Smh I just threw the whole plate out the window.

Staff is horrible and they do not communicate....i write this review while sitting in the parking lot...one server was putting names on a list to be seated and another server or the manager walks up and just began seating customers who just walked in with nonregard to the fact im telling her there is a list of people waiting to be seated....if i could take the 1 star away i would...smh

Food - 4 Service - 3 Atmosphere - 3 Second visit... Average IHOP experience. Not as crowded as most Ive been in, but the wait time for food does not improve with the lack of a wait for a table. Service is acceptable, Ive had a great server, but its luck of the draw. TL;DR = If youre hungry, stop. If you have limited time or sophisticated taste, move on. Its average.

This is one of my favorite places to go. unfortunately today on Veterans day. I went in for the free red white and blue pancakes. and they were good. the service lacked however. the server forgot to bring coffee to my table three times. finely got coffee on my last bite of pancake. smh.. disappointed in the service but the food was great.

Me and my family went to IHOP for my birthday and we sat in there for 20 minutes (I timed it) with no service. My kids were hungry, so we finally just had to leave because no one came to serve us. The workers didnt even notice when we left! Ive never written an outright negative review on a restaurant, but this was ridiculous.

I like some of the waitresses there, the building was just remodeled and but cant seem to keep it clean. Its very important to clean with the new furniture and walls up. Its so tight in there now, if I cant sit by a window, I just leave and eat somewhere else.

Mixed emotions but I wont go back. Service good from the server but brought out the appetizer and the meal at the same time. Then I had to move because they were cleaning carpets with not even a thank you. Food ok

My daughter and I visited IHOP on Harding Blvd. last night. The food was very good and service was excellent! Our server, a young man, was very friendly and attentive and had the greatest smile.
