OVERVIEW Overall it was a great experience. I would advise avoiding the mens restroom as it has a strong smell of urine, and may make you lose your appetite. In the end of it all I would recommend eating Pei Weis Americanized foods. LOCATION The location is located in a strip mall just a few blocks from the South Towne Mall, which makes it a pretty good location, if youd like to avoid the less filling high priced food in the food court. PRICE The average price of the meals was reasonable, comparable to a fast food burger meal. PRODUCT/SERVICE We went on a Saturday afternoon around 3:30pm, it was hoping, not chaotic. I ordered the sweet & sour meal with a side of sauce. I also ordered Sushi. I loved the Sweet & Sour probably one of the best Ive tried in years. I also ordered the sushi, both the california crunch as well as another which I cant recall the name. To be honest, I found the sushi a little bland, lacking much flavor. The Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines are a plus. EMPLOYEES The employees were friendly, in fact one of them went out of their way to replace the vanilla flavoring for my Dr. Pepper in one of those Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. I was a little disturbed by the female cashier, she was a little distracted by another female co-worker, I dont know if it was an issue of sharing a text or what, but it could have waited until we were finished paying for our meal.

This was the worst experience Ive ever had at a Pei Wei, and it started out so promising. We ordered online which was pretty easy and when we went to pick it up our food was ready on time! So good so far. Then when we got home and started unpacking the bag we noticed that we received no lettuce for our LETTUCE wraps. Because we live about 15-20 minutes away from the restaurant I decided to try to give them a call. I was on hold for over 30 minutes. Finally I got up and drove to the grocery store that is only 5 minutes away and only 99cents for a whole head of lettuce. After nearly 40 minutes on hold Pei Wei finally picked up and after telling the employee what had happened her only response was to have me drive all the way back and retrieve the missing lettuce. When I told her we had already gone to the store and didnt want to make the drive out again tonight she offered no recompense for the mix up and was honestly disinterested in the problem. I eventually just told the girl to forget it and decided this would be THE LAST time I would spend $30 to only get half of what we paid for. Thanks but no thanks.

we placed an order for pickup which you think would of been easier to not screw up but we arrived on at the time that they said our order would be ready for pickup then we had to wait for our sushi to be finished. we waited and then they gave us our order 10 minutes later, we took it and went home and guess what the sushi was not it the bag which was the item we waited 10 minutes for. we went back and picked it up and they offered us no compensation for their mess up. we then went back home and discovered that our snickernoodle cookies we ordered were not snickerdoodle but chocolate chip. we didnt want to go back a second time so we just dealt with the cookies. It appears the high school girls that are employed there are to busy chatting it up to get your order right. I would not recommend this place to anyone not even an enemy and i will never be going back. i paid higher prices for my order to be made right if i wanted my order to be messed up i wouldve gone to mcdonalds to begin with

I really want to give Pei Wei more stars, but unfortunately the service was good but the food was just not up to par. For those of you who know, Pei Wei is a offshoot of PF Changs. We walked in, and the restaurant was very busy. The staff got our orders, and given that I was starving I got Sushi, Kung Pao Chicken and my wife and son got the childs bowl and Mongolian chicken. We had to wait forever, but eventually the Sushi shows up. The son was starving so we were able to flag down a food runner who offered to get him some soup. About 10 minutes after that, we got the food. All of it was somewhat lacking. The kids bowl was literally just chicken and noodles (no veggies). The Mongolian chicken literally had the sauce ladled over it. The Kung Pao was not flavorful at all. At the end of the day, Id hope that given who the parent company is, that the food would be a bit better, but unfortunately I was wrong.

Its been a while since weve been to this Pei Wei. Things have really changed and not for the good! The girl at the counter appeared to hate her job and acted like we were taking up her precious time of doing nothing. The other employees were busy and friendly. There were very few customers, but it looked like a tornado had hit. We finally found a table that was clean. Most had food or water on them. The chairs and bench seating looked like they hadnt been cleaned in quite sometime. There were no forks except the ones on the floor. The soy sauce bottle was so sticky and gross looking that I decided not to use it. The portion size of some dishes appeared to be about half of what they were before and the prices had increased. Very few menu items that arent spicy. Probably the last time we will eat here.

Good food. I like the caramel chicken, which is a breaded chicken with a slightly sweet sauce over rice. It has a nice mix of fresh veggies on top, which balances out the heavy chicken. The rice was dry the last time I was there, which there is no excuse for in a place like this. Also, out of the three of us at lunch, one got his meal right away, then I got mine 15 minutes later when he had finished. The third person had to ask twice for his and when he told the server it had been twenty minutes, he got a curt reply that "everyone is waiting 20 minutes." Well, not really since the first guy had already finished. And the place wasnt even that busy. It made for an odd lunch. But I like the food enough to go back from time to time.

We arrived at around 7:30 and there was maybe 2 tables occupied in the entire restaurant and every empty table was absolutely FILTHY. I mean COVERED IN FOOD from others who had already left and judging by the fact that we had been there for almost thirty minutes and no one had even touched them it was disgusting. As tourists from out of town it was a huge disappointment to see it so poorly taken care of. Also to add onto it, 3 of 4 meals were cooked incorrectly which was infuriating. Then the manager actually came out and was kicking around the trash that was on the ground. That threw us over the edge completely and we left. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. WILL NEVER BE BACK. Wish I could put less than one star.
