Review is for Gujarati rasoi, Bombay Chaat and Punjabi Rasoi . Food at Gujarati rasoi is great. The Guju lady working there is an excellent cook. Dhokla, khandvi is nice. she makes excellent chapatis. the currys/sabzis are just like home made and tasty. Price is very reasonable. $4 or $ 5 for roti sabzi. Also sometimes they give salted lassi with some coriander leaves on top of lassi. Bombay Chaat: Vada pav, dabeli is great. Even I like egg kheema. they serve egg kheema with pav , lemon and onions.Just too yummy. Punjabi Rasoi: Food is ok . Not that great. Like the chole bhature. But just too heavy sometimes to digest. Sarson ka saag and makke ki roti is ok. Not that great. I ate only once . Dont feel like ordering it now.

I went to Desi Food Galaxy this morning with my husband. We had a very tasty pesarattu (moong dal dosa), masala dosa and soft idlies served with two chutnies and sambar from Dosa Bytes. The poDi they served with idlies also was very tasty. I make these dishes at home a lot, am very particular about the taste and freshness of the food served and I am very happy and was well satisfied with the food prepared at Dosa Bytes of Desi Galaxy on Route 27. The Sambar could use a bit more tamarind though. I am looking forward to going there again whenever I do not feel like preparing these dishes at home. We also liked the mango lassi and potato kati roll from Bombay Spice stall there.

Desi Food Galaxy is an ultimate place if you want to get all varieties of awesome Indian food. It is more of homely made food served with love. There are very different varieties like Gujrati food, Punjabi food, South Indian food, Mumbai food, Chinese food, Indian sweets, etc all served in a single place.I would in particular recommend it for fresh and pure healthy juices like sugarcane juice, carrot/beet/celery juice, mixed fruit, pomegranate and all sort of healthy juices. You will almost feel at home as the staff is extremely friendly, flexible, considerate and caring towards their customers.

A really great concept and one that I am honestly surprised that we dont see more. Someone took one suite in a strip mall and converted it to multiple takeout spots. It is a mini food court. It isnt the cleanest of places so that is a drawback. Good Halal Food option here in New Jerseuy. Come here for Halal Chinese food or more traditional items. They even have a Paan shop.

Review is for Khab Kabab, Idlys and Gujrati Rasoi (Not tried others) AUTHENTIC FOOD. The food is as you will find it INDIA. GO HERE JUST FOR REASONABLY PRICED TASTY FOOD. Dont expect anything else. Decor IS BAD! Price is Reasonable. NO SERVICE AT ALL Dont expect them to accept AMEX. The BOMBAY CHAAT GUY IS ARROGANT, even though his stall doesnt run.

This place has seen better days. I went to the adda biryani place (which used to be good) and got goat biryani "to go" and it was stale/pretty bad. I am not sure about other restaurants in this place but stay away from the Adda biryani place. Its annoying when u spend $14 and they dont care to give you decent fresh food.

We like the paan place in here. Freshly rolled meetha paan. There is also a juice stand here which serves sugarcane juice. There is something for everyone here including a sweets store. Rt 27 has so many choices. This is worth a quick stop.

They have amazing fresh roti (indian bread). Definitely give it a try. A good place for pure vegetarian Indian cuisine. I would definitely go again. It is affordable and have a many options.

Great "Hawker" style food court. About 15 different hawker stands and a common dining room. Mostly India and Chinese from different areas. Pretty affordable and very good.

The service is extraordinarily poor. It took 40 minutes for the food (two Mysore masala dosas) to arrive and this wasnt during peak hours. Im afraid I wasted my time.
