CIGARETTE SMOKERS LOCAL DRINKING SPOT! This place has its cigarette smoking regulars who sit a the bar, and keep to themselves. If you sit at one if the indoor tables you will leave smelling like a an ashtray, if not noxious. We moved outside. The air was clean, but the mosquitoes were all over us. The bartender pointed to a bucket full of orange cans of mosquito spray. They dont have any servers, only a bartender and a cook. They have signs posted outside that say, "go inside to the bar to order food". They have a dirt parking lot, thats a bummer if you drive a nice, freshly washed car. In the outdoor seating area, there are concrete holes where posts once imbedded. There is rotted wood with metal rods sticking out. All of this is along side of the bean bag toss area. A hamburger, with added cheese & bacon costs $10. Fries or onion rings cost $2. The beef was perfectly grilled; the onion rings were large and well battered and fried crunchy, not greasy! ...Obviously a local smokers neighborhood drinking bar.

You cannot go without trying a cheeseburger from this place. The hamburgers are meaty and juicy and big. Everything tastes great from the onion rings to the fries to the main dish itself. It is a bar and grill located in the coener. I had my suspicions as I felt a little out of place when I first arrived. There were bikers and it felt more like a biker bar but as we went in no one bothered us and seemed just fine with us being there. We were greeted very personally by the lady, forgot her name, and she services with a smile. Extremely friendly and a wonderful employee, very funny. All in all I really really enjoyed this locale and I definitely recommend the trip when around the area.

10/10 would recommend. I stopped by this bar on my way to corpus christi today, I got 6 massive (& delicious) wings for only 6$! The prices are reasonable, music is good, the bartender is super cute and the owner is really nice. The inside of the bar has some pretty unique decorations, and you can tell that both the inside and outside decor of the bar had some thought into it. Outside there is an area with picnic tables and string lights, laser lights are also placed strategically around the stage for added aesthetic.

We went there for a graduation party. Walked in and were greeted by a very personable lady."Tina." Right then we knew we were welcome there. Beers were cheap, food was great. Met a local named Tex, and he had a belt sander that would go down the track in close to 2 seconds. After that we were hooked. We plan on going to the next belt sander races, think it is the third Saturday of each month. We highly recommend THE HAPPY COW.

Super good burgers BUT dont try to use a GROUPON here...they claim that the cash drawer cant process it...we tried to press the issue, but gave up...ended up paying more than if we had gone without the GROUPON...backwards a$$ folks, but YES they can cook...

Great little spot, super friendly staff, cold beer, and the crinkle cut fries and cheeseburger were amazing! I am not a smoker, but kudos to HCB for allowing the smokers to partake in their habit without restriction. Will definitely be back!

We just left from eating there, awesome food and great friendly staff. They have a outside seating area very cool no live band was there but it was early. We definitely keep this place on our list of great food places. Thanks guys
