Without a doubt the best Chinese food anywhere near the Love Field area. Im a regular, and when my mother comes in town she loves going with me. Very friendly staff, good-size portions (we frequently take some home), and great selection. The beef and chicken never tastes fatty or tough, which is a frequent problem at most Chinese places. The soups are good - I love the egg drop soup, mom loves the wonton (Ive tried it too, and its delicious). The lunch is a better value for the prices but definitely busier as far as customers go. Dinner prices are higher but theres typically less people taking up tables. My recommendations would be the flavorful cashew chicken, or combination China noodle (essentially Lo Mein) which can also be served with flat noodles. My ONLY complaint, and its a minor one, is I wish they had more comfortable chairs - Im a big guy, and the arms are more than a little tight for me. Other than that dont miss visiting this little hole-in-the-wall treat, its well worth the trip.

The only reason I did not give Ming Place 5 stars is I had horrible service today at lunch time. The waitress was very rude and short with my friend and I. She messed up on my order but I did not have time to fix it because I had to eat and leave as soon as possible. She seemed to be accommodating to the men in the restaurant but to my friend and I she was just very rude and abrupt. She tossed our straws on the table when we asked for them and when she would bring something to the table she just dropped it off without saying anything. It almost felt like we were bothering her by eating there. I dont know her name but she was tall and had a black hair and ponytail. However, the food is very delicious. I had the jalapeno chicken and steamed rice (supposed to be fried) If I decide to order in the future it will be carry out only.

My first impression was not good. We were greeted by an employee eating his lunch. He tossed the menus down onto the table without saying a word. After sitting there for about 10 minutes without being greeted by a server, we started to look around wondering if we would get any service. We caught the eye of the gentleman who seated us. He was sitting down eating at a table not far from ours. I guess he quickly realized he had forgotten about us and came to take our order unapologetically. I understand that employees need to take breaks and eat, but not while serving guests at the same time. Our food came out quickly and was delicious! The experience would have been a 5 if it werent for our servers bad attitude and lack of customer service.

Fried rice was very bland. The only veggies they put in were peas and carrots. The chicken was flavorless and was likely boiled. They could at least throw some onion and garlic in there for crying out loud. My boyfriend got the Chinese noodles (beef), and they were a step above the fried rice, but not much better. They at least put onion in that. But overall, very bland. Edible enough, but not worth repeating. Ill probably just throw mine out. Disappointing.

Learned there is a little bit of the peking province of china right here in the lonestar. As a frequent traveler to the far east, i have to tip my hat to these people. What the owner has managed to pull off in his lowly dining room is nothing short of splendid. I love the authentic cuisine and the overly polite service. If the whiteman could only execute this level of greatness maybe cgilis would still be my resturaunt of choice. Good days sir.

Staff was friendly and very quick, however, the Beef and Broccoli I ordered was very off and downright inedible. The owner came by immediately to see what was wrong and wanted to personally make the dish to my liking. She came back with it in a to go box (since i had to go back to work) and it was just right! Owner really cares about repeat customers and new customers alike. I will definitely be returning to have lunch here again!

Great food and service! Ive eaten there several times and always enjoy my meal. Lunch comes with spring roll and edamame in the pod. Good portion sizes, even for lunch. The service is quick enought to drive, eat, and get back to work in an hour. The Tomato With Egg is a favorite of mine, and they actually know how to cook tofu, too. When anybody is looking for good Chinese food in the area, its my first and only recommendation.

Food is great. Prices very reasonable. A heaping dinner plate is priced about the same as our lunch from a fast food place. Service was wonderful. Tip: ask for the Chinese menu. The table next to us got these huge bowls of steaming soup the looked fabulous. Our soup, dumplings and mu shu chicken were out of this world good. Dont let the strip mall location fool you. This place is great!

We love Mings Place! The food is wonderful, but the service is what really makes this place shine. The store owner is very friendly and made our family feel welcome. We visited on Chinese New Year and she gave my girls traditional red envelopes and Chinese candy. We would come back for the food alone, but getting the chance to talk with Grace again will make us come back even faster!

Im pretty boring when it comes to Chinese food. I strictly order chicken fried rice, so I may not be qualified to to judge the overall quality of this restaurant. That said, their chicken fried rice is great. And as other reviewers have mentioned, the staff if so friendly! So gracious and welcoming. I will be ordering take out from Ming Place for many years to come!

Parking: 4. Atmosphere: 4. Sanitary: 4.5. Staff: 3. Speed: 5. Food: 4.5. Ming Place China Bistro comes in at 4.16. My server was competent. However, I saw the female server mentioned in another review. Her customer had to yell across the restaurant at her to bring their check. After which, she stuck her nose back in her cell phone.

It was highly recommended that I eat here for lunch. This place has amazing food with great flavor, not terribly salty, very good portions, and is made fresh to order while being reasonably priced. The service is also good. Ive eaten in Chinatowns in Boston, NYC, and Cleveland. This restaurant is legit and I highly recommend it.

One of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. The restaurant itself is very welcoming and clean, the staff is also very welcoming and friendly. The 2-3 times Ive been here, the food ordered has come out hot, fresh and tasty. I also really enjoyed their egg drop soup, very hearty with lots of egg in the soup.

I thought Dallas was devoid of any good Chinese restaurant. But Ive been proven wrong. I had the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup and boy was it great. Truly authentic. I also had an order of fried dumplings which were very good too. Im Chinese, so Im really picky about my Chinese food. This place does a great job.
