Went to Olive Garden in Cookeville TN for my daughters birthday bad experience. First of all they sat us in a corner both by the window that was freezing. Server/waiter Jim was horrible, took our drink orders, brought us drinks no straws and said oh I forgot the straws will bring them right back. Soup was cold and bland. When we got our dinner Jim said oh I forgot the straws and finally brought them. Got our dinners my husband ordered the lasagna he said it tasted like Stauffer. I ordered the 5 cheese ziti when I asked Jim about the buy one get one. He said he could change the order. I asked what the price difference was he said about $2.00 I said not worth it. When we got the bill the difference was only 70 cents. Very disappointed with the experience and will not return to that Olive Garden.

I have never had such a poor experience from an Olive Garden in my life! Our servers name was Chris, and right off the bat his attitude was poor! I work in a restaurant, I understand everyone has their bad days... however, when your guests have questions, you answer them without attitude and help make their experience what they pay for! complained he doesnt make good money there (probably due to the lack of tips if this is his usual attitude!) Spoke to management about our server, and they provided us with and new waitress, which was the only pleasant part of our visit. 2 stars for management, very pathetic experience and and our table of four wont be returning.

We went to olive garden tonight around 8 30pm the waitresses and waiters was all amazing they took time out to pay attention to my 4 year old child which most places dont our waiter was the young black male he was so nice and sweet Im sorry I cant remember your name Ive never been good with names but I want everyone to know you took time out to explain what certain foods was and took time to talk to my overly excited son that means alot to us and the lady with the money bow tie made my sons day for sure she played with him and he is still talking about when he comes back to olive garden for a new match with her thank you all so much for being so kind

Our server Heather was really nice about the fact that Im allergic to garlic (I know, why eat at an Italian place if I cant eat garlic? Because its yummy) and brought out breadsticks with only butter on them for me and even gave me a little mini dessert since I couldnt have any sides with my steak (all too likely to contain garlic). Super sweet and attentive when a lot of servers have only been annoyed with my allergy in the past ... Really appreciated it. Will definitely be coming back (for butter-only breadsticks and non-garlic steak hehe)!

Great food, but wait staff was unprepared for our large party. Our sons soccer team decided to lunch there in between games. We called ahead and got there around 11:30. There were approx 24 of us, and the wait both for our food and our checks was unacceptable, even given the size of our party. Thankfully everyone in our party was kind and patient; Im sure we were a headache to the staff just by our sheer numbers. Staff were very nice and apologetic when needed.

I love the food at the Olive Garden which is always consistent! The bathroom was dirty however. Sometimes the wait is extended but always professional. Would suggest a few things to corporate to give a better guest experience however. When the guest has leftovers the waitress should put leftovers in the containers. They would get bigger tips in my opinion.

Called ahead reserved table for bday party , got there table was ready, but after waiter took our order they forgot to put our order in to kitchen but didnt let us know till we had waited 1hour 1/2 later , then at end wasnt going to take any off our meal for this till I asked about it and then manager didnt even come to our table to tell us .

Excellent experience for a group of 25 for a rehearsal dinner. The manager and our wait staff were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make the event special....delicious food, superb service...we felt like we were in someones home!

Clean place with friendly service. Prices went up and portion size got a bit smaller since I was there last but the food is still good. Never had a bad eating experience here. Wait staff is always nice and they make sure you have everything you need.

The serves was very basic at best. I had to wait 15 mins for a reset for my check. The big problem was the food. It was tasteless and had nothing great about it. To tell the truth Fazolis fast food had more of a taste then this high end restaurant.

The food is fairly good. The soup and breadsticks are of course always delicious, but I find the pasta and chicken to be reminescient of plastic. The service was generally terrible though which definitely affected my feelings about the place.

I enjoy olive garden very much. Service however changes to much between hostess. The last waitress we had was AMAZING. you knew that she was making sure your service was perfect. So friendly and amazingly sweet.
