If you want to read a real review of this restaurant continue here In Hollywood Florida in the Oakwood Plaza Moonlite Diner commands a nice spot with its own private parking lot its convenient and if there isnt enough space you can go to Kmart parking next door and theres a lot more parking there Entering the building youll find its a clean nice atmosphere with nostalgic Route 66 old Oldsmobile memorabilia and other types of cars and other memorabilia hanging on the walls The booth we sat in was comfortable and not crushed like a lot of Booths some diners I have been in have It was a Sunday about 12 oclock so there was about a 10-minute wait for a booth they were very courteous it took our name as soon as we entered the door After being seated we did not have to wait more than 3 to 4 minutes before waitress showed up and took our drink order The coffee was hot and fresh and the iced tea was fresh and not sour like some places have old Ice-T it was pretty good here We ordered the breakfast which came in about 15 minutes everything was cooked to order no complaints on the food the quality for the value of food was well worth the trip Overall I would say this particular Moonlite Diner is on the ball with good staff good service and good food and for a busy Sunday morning thats saying a lot they were packed from door-to-door when we were there Hope you enjoy the review will be seeing you a lot more here in Hollywood

i happened to come here by chance since the restaurant I wanted to go was close. I looked up the diner and noticed the pics and reviews and decide to give it a try. I order the cesar salad with gyro meat instead of the chicken. long and behold I had to pay extra because it was gyro meat, $15 exactly. we waited a bit before the food finally came and to my surprise my meal looked nothing like the pics I had seen from previews reviews. I had nothing but salad and 4 thin strips a gyro meat 4!!!!! so I was paying $15 for lettuce. I asked for the manager, showed him the pic that brought me into the diner and said there was no way I was paying $15 for lettuce! the manager was nice enough to bring me more. the least to say I will not be going back. I dont think the food was worth the $15 dollar and I really didnt like that when the bill came, it was just a total amount, no breakdown of the price per meals.

Food is good, Milkshake was amazing! Service is the worst I have ever experienced. Restaurant was almost empty and yet my waitress never stayed at my table longer then 20 seconds (literally walking away mid way thru my question about the menue). Other staff members brought my food, drink, condiments and refills. My waitress rushed took my order and dropped off my bill that was it. She then spent the rest of my visit between LOUDLY (easily heard thruought the diner) discussing the low hourly wage they make and sitting and chatting with a regular. She could care less about her tables. I still tipped 25% even though she didnt deserve it. I hope they have tip sharing as her co-workers did all the work.

Great looking dinner, but not a place where you can eat if you have food sensitivity or even worst food allergies since you have a cook that is a doctor and his opinion is there is no such thing he want remake your food even if he was the one that cook it wrong to start with he will scrape of the items on the same plate replace them with the right ones send it back out to your table as if was a new dish, and if you can get pass that the side iteams no matter what they are come out cold.. so go for the decor but dont stay for the food unless you just like paying for the worst thing you could possible put in your mouth..

I have not been to Moonlite in several years. Past experiences were ok and was in the neighborhood on 2/17 and stopped in for a late lunch. At first I didnt noticed but it was clear the place has not been maintained. It was filthy. The food was ok, but I made a trip by the bathroom on my way out and practically lost my lunch. It was disgusting. There is a saying "you can tell how clean a restaurant kitchen is based on how well the bathrooms are maintained". I would never go back.

A wonderful old-timey diner with delicious home-style food AND they are OPEN even on holidays (365 days a year)! After several long flights on Easter day, we drove around looking for someplace to eat. What a happy coincidence that we found Moonlite Diner! Its a fun place with attentive, helpful staff, and, to repeat, tasty food in generous portions. My husband had the {huge} plate of spaghetti, and I had the meatloaf meal with salad and a sundae-sized ice cream! YUM!!

I was stuck in Hollywood, FL due to a delay at the ft. Lauderdale airport and finding this place was a slice of heaven. A home away from home. Great staff, amazing food, VERY reasonable prices. Plus the owner is Extremely friendly and down to earth. Not afraid to step in to satisfy the customers. One last thing they have a lady there who cleans up named Momma and she is just the sweetest lady I have ever met. So humble and kind. Great job moonlite Diner.

So... service took a min, they couldnt figure out who my server was lol. Food was your classic diner food, always tasty! I mean I would have given 5 stars, whats holding me back is the lack of leadership within the servers and, sitting at the counter, I kept hearing vulgar language, I mean for a family place these girls need to be more respectful 5 stars on everything but service. Well thats my take. I hope this review helps :)

Come in for the decor and only for the decor ,the cook doesnt belive in cooking your order right and even worst he doesnt believe he needs to remake it when is done wrong oh and forget about even thinking they will respect or care if you have food sensitivity or allergy the worst experience i have ever had and all this goes on and the manager has no clue is happening even when you are one of the two guest in the dinner..

We love Antebellum. Nick and Allison who own and run the place are delightful. Nick is extremely creative and comes up with amazing concoctions which are always delicious. Allison runs the front of the house with an excellent staff. Tyler the yoga instructor by day, bartender at night also creates delicious cocktails. There is live jazz a 2-3 times per week and it is great! All around this little spot is excellent!

Hated it! How do you charge someone for syrup, butter? Your prices are already inflated. Secondly, why would you think its okay to serve someone burnt food? You can obviously see that you burnt it! And then still charge me!!!!! I never touched my plate! Customer service lacks almost as bad as a walmart. So much for eating locally! Horrible experience would not recommend to my enemys.

Food quality is lacking, my personal experience from here is only burnt food. They will not only serve you the burnt food but expect you to pay for it as well, if you refuse they threaten to call the cops. Safe yourself the frustration and go somewhere else that cares for their customers and knows how to cook. Waffle House sucks but they are 100% better than this place
