Updated Review: Service has gone down tremendously. None of the waiters we communicated with understood our requests. We mentioned one of our dishes did not taste right, and they stated they would deduct the amount, but still tried to charge us for it. Had to complain twice to have the charge removed. The food quality has also degraded a considerable amount. Flavor has diminished in the curries. Naan and appetizers are still decent. They ought to hire waiters that can understand the American language and culture. Previous Review was 4 stars: This restaurant opened recently. I went with my family to try it for the first time. We were pleasantly greeted at the door. The decor was decent. Could use a bit of an uplift in color choices, but conservatively nice. Service was great throughout. You are served with complimentary papadum and three chutneys. Of the three chutneys, I enjoyed the tomato ginger chutney with a tinge of sweet and spice. A number of papadums were literally burnt in the middle, but I didnt request a replacement. They probably would taste better if they were fried. Being an American born guy of Indian decent with a hobby of cooking, I have a good idea of what good Indian food should taste like. Since Im vegetarian, I cannot comment on the other dishes. We ordered channa masala, paneer tikka masala, creamed spinach/potato dish, cauliflower manchurian dry, spinach pakoras, naan, rice, chapati, dosa and kofta masala. The onion pakoras were crispy and tasty. The cauliflower manchurian dry was was decent, but a bit different than most others I have tried. Although I requested dry, I believe it could have been crispier with a touch of spicy tomato sauce with bits of fresh garlic, minced onion and green chilis to liven up the machurian tradition. The channa masala and accompanying bhatura bread were great. The chick peas were soft as they should be, and the bhaturas were not oily like in many other restaurants, so that was much appreciated. The naans were soft and nice. The koftas in the curry were a bit overdone and chewy, but the overall flavor of the sauce was good. The paneer tikka masala was tasy and nice presentation. The plain basmati rice was cooked properly, but would look better with coriander and caramelized onions instead of carrots and peas on top as garnishment. The flavor of the creamy spinach with potato was good, but the consistency of the spinach was a bit too blended. Would have preferred some texture to it. The dosa had good flavor, but next time I will request it to be crispy vice soft. The freshly made gunpowder chutney was excellent. Very few restaurants can get gunpowder down right, and they have it! The peanut chutney was also tasty. Okay, so the first Chapati was chewy and hard, but upon request, they made another one fresh, which was done perfect. Sorry, but we didnt order desserts, so cant comment on that. I would recommend they change their process for payment and bring a check to the table instead of handing a tablet to a customer to review while the host states the total and requests payment, but then requests the patron to get up and sign at the front desk instead of bringing the traditional receipt and pen. Its a bit intrusive. This may be a new high tech method, but we must not forget about proper service etiquette. In conclusion, I enjoyed the food and service and would consider returning again.

Sunday Lunch Buffet is what we tried for a family get-together. My reviews are based on tasting quite a number of options. In a nutshell, the food taste is quite good, sweets are okay (can be improved). The veg vs non-veg options are good. Non-veg has a good menu with options to please a wide audience with Fish, Mutton and Chicken delicacies. The cost for two is around $25. Please note that this review is not sponsored. 1. Dal Makhni is actually Dal fry from North India based on looks, texture and taste. They might want to hire a North Indian chef if they really need to make Dal Makhni the real way. 2. Primarily a south Indian restaurant, Sambar is off-course their best taste. I had two bowls straight. Idlis are soft, crisp and fresh. 3. They do serve Naan and Dosa on the table. This is one thing that i like the most while rating buffet restaurants. The breads should always be served hot to make a hungry man feel fulfilled. 4. Ginger fish was specifically awesome. I did not read the name on the buffet though the first time before putting it on my plate. After eating it, i realized it is something else, but did taste really good. 5. All food dishes are mild spicy. 6. Chicken tikka masala and Paneer Tikka masala are good and may well look the same with gravy having little differences. The color, taste and dropping consistency is same. I believe, it is one gravy separated by the primary ingredient i.e. Paneer or Chicken. Taste is good though for both. 7. Tandoori chicken was good too. 8. Coming to the sweets, they had quite a number of options (i think i saw 4 of them), Gajar Halwa, Shahi tukda, fruit custard and watermelon. All three preparations were okay. You might like it better than me. I would recommend this restaurant as a good option. There are ample seating options and it was all FULL. This itself talks about the popularity of the food.

Ive been eating at Indian buffets since I was a toddler and have tried countless buffets across Plano/Dallas. This is the best Indian buffet currently in Plano. It has recently replaced my over a decade held favorite called Kebab N Kurry (which still has better rice, kheer, and naan). The buffet has some great stuff that I havent seen at other buffets, such as chicken biryani, aloo gobi, fried spicy fish and shrimp, poori, spinach paneer...its all great. Everything I have tried has been good, but my favorite things to order off the dinner menu are the butter chicken and goat biryani. I eat A LOT, but even the goat biryani dinner portion is too much to eat all in one sitting, which is awesome, because leftovers. All of the desserts are good. Come here for lunch or dinner and youll walk away having a new favorite Indian restaurant. My small requests for improvement: - Always have butter chicken on the buffet, everyone likes it better than chicken tikka. - Colder/Ice water - Better plain rice on the buffet. - Kheer with pistachios and almonds, not the raisin vermicelli kind.

This is PURE NON-VEG (CHICKEN ONLY) STALL - you will NOT get any other varieties. its VERY BAD FOR VEGETARIANS, IF YOU raise a concern -they will NOT bother,/dont care. They have own crowd to earn money - its NOT Customer friendly restaurant. We went with 2 families for veg & Non-veg food, i found tamarind rice :( instead of Biryani and Punugulu (kind of vada/baji ) as starter instead of Gope or Mushroom fry & added left over breakfast idlly, uppuma, sambar. Not even proper paneer gravy for naan. My kid dont like this. When i raise a concern, he/manager said you need to check the buffet before start. then I AM ASKING - WHY ARE YOU SAYING THIS IS INDIAN CUISINE - ITS JUST CHICKEN STALL we have visited this place - pls do NOT VISIT I am DONT HAVE OPTION TO RATE NEGATIVE SO I GAVE SINGLE STAR. Aroma Indian Cuisine 3948 Legacy Dr, Plano, TX 75023-8300 WASTE OF MONEY for this TASTE- VARIETIES .. ( DO NOT TRUST THIS REGULAR 4- 5 STAR RATING FOR THIS Restaurant ) GOOD BYE...! :(
