Great atmosphere and really great pizza. We have visited this location a few times and have had great food and a great time every visit. The staff tends to be well trained but laid back making it a very casual atmosphere. The kitchen is an open concept and my kids like watching the cooks toss the dough as they make the pizzas. While Mellow Mushroom is a chain, each location has a section of local favorites. This one is no exception and while I cant be sure I suspect they rotate the selections. Always worth the look to see some additional flavors of pizza to check out. Of course, the pizza is what they are all about. An eclectic collection to flavors to be sure. Holy Shiitake and the Buffalo Chicken are two of my favorites. The Buffalo Chicken, especially, is delicious and I dont hesitate to say it is the best buffalo pizza Ive had. The pretzels are a favorite starter. They take the pizza dough and bake them into soft pretzels. They serve them with marinara but you have to add on the beer cheese. It makes the pretzels and if there is any left, you can dip your pizza crust in it for a bonus round with your meal. The menu is rounded out with other choices. The hoagies are good and the salads look fresh and delicious. I cant speak to the salads... havent had one. I cant get past the pizza.

Very cozy atmosphere with a rustic look, and a nice looking bar. Sat at the bar, service was very prompt and friendly. The bruschetta was amazing and a nicer plating/presentation than would be expected at a pizza place. The House Special pizza is loaded with toppings, and a small was definitely enough for two people. There are plenty of pizza places in New Albany, but it is the care with which their food is prepared that sets the Mushroom apart from the rest. I will definitely be back to try their other items.

The best Mellow Mushroom Ive been to. Great location, great atmosphere, and always really good, unique pizza. Minus a star because they seem to get overwhelmed easily. Mellow Mushroom is never fast because of how they make their food, but a few times its just been too long here. At least the restaurant itself is super cool and its not horrible having to wait! Still highly recommended.

Great food - the pizza and pretzels are outstanding. Good beer selection, both on draft and bottles. Staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean. Decor and atmosphere are typical Mellow Mushroom - funky and fun. Prices are on the high side, but the food is worth it.

I have been here a few times with very large groups, and some with small. The service has always been excellent and I would recommend this place for either situation. The pizza is great, along the craft beer selection which features a lot of Ohio breweries.

We stopped in here for lunch for the first time and had a great experience. The service was top notch and Taylor went above and beyond to make sure we were happy customers. Pizza was outstanding and the beer selection was good. Will definitely go back.

Jolly damn this was a delicious treat! Service was excellent and the pizza was fantastic. Very reasonably priced and there was no wait when we arrived at 6:00pm on a Friday. We will definitely be back to try some different pizzas.

Excellent pizza! The crust is Uh-mazing! Its one of my girlfriend and Is favorite pizza places in the Columbus area. Cant go wrong with any of the pizzas on their menu. Great craft beer selection on tap as well.

Best family restaurant in New Albany. My kids beg to go to MM. The food is fresh and the servers are happy. You can tell they like each other and they love their job. It makes the experience all the better!

The decor inside is even nicer then the one in Polaris. However my pizza was burnt, and my box had greasy finger prints all over the outside. :( Parking was OK, it is located in the heart of new Albany.

I am so glad to have another dining option in New Albany. The pizza is really good, service good, and atmosphere is crazy and fun. The prices are a little high, but I would recommend and will return!

The service was very nice and my food was pretty good. The minor issue I had was with kid food that looked like Catholic School food. So we could not get the kids to eat it. But otherwise very. Nice.

Not family friendly. Didnt allow me to sit at the bar with my 15 year old son. Instead, asked me to leave the bar and wait 30 minutes for a table. I have other options that will suit us better.
