The establishment is messy and dirty. I decided I wanted Indian food so I googled vegetarian indian. So I drive 20 minutes out of the way to go to gopal. First annoyance was I got there and my server was super smelly. Theres no reason why any server or person around food should be smelly. Bad hygiene in the food industry is unacceptable. I decided to let it go, I ordered a plain dosa. My second annoyance, was me waiting FOREVER! Now I had already been seated for about 15 minutes when an older white couple came in. They ordered 4 dosas 15 minutes after I had placed my initial order. Tell me why they got their food 5 minutes later?! So of course I decided to wait a little bit longer, still no food. Another customer came in and ordered his food. 5 minutes later they brought him a Thali plate but I still didnt have Jack squat. I noticed some people from the back peek their heads out and point at me while speaking in another language. I decided that enough is enough, I got up and walked out. Im still really pissed off. I had to drive all the way back to the other side of town. I am without doubt that they refused to serve me because Im black. I will NOT return, and I encourage any other black person not to come here and attempt to spend any money.

If you going here for the ambiance, and spotless, clean floors, and walls you could rest your back on, you will be terribly, extremely, disappointed. However, if you are here for the fresh, hot, tasty (Indian) and good food, you are the right place. Dont this "rat hole" of a place dissuade you from venturing in and enjoying the food. The only advice I have is that you order yourself soda (in the can, of course), instead of water. Water, and the restroom, are two things that freak me out about this place.

One of the old times Indian restaurant located in Richarson. Serves only vegetarian food. Food is not super amazing here but satisfies your craving for authentic indian dishes (without the americanization of it ) Is not well decorated or organized, but it has been there for long and has a loyal customer base. Would recommend this place if you want to try some Gujrati and Nepali Food items.

I like to go here. Very reasonable price. Tea is awesome. I have had Pani puri, Vada Pav, Pav bhaji, Dahi puri and all are excellent. I do recommend this place for Chaat options. 3pcs samosas just for 3.99 and tea just 1 dollar. Simply awesome! And if u want to eat kulfi desperately, its 2.99 .. thats also good ..

Delicious home cooked Indian food. This is not like your normal Indian restaurant where everything is loaded with butter and ghee to make it taste better. This cooking reminds me of my moms cooking and I use to go there almost every week to get their pappdi chaat. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing. Go. It may be a little awkward but, many good gastronomic experiences are. Asking questions was of little help as language was a barrier. No matter. ALL or food was good.

Save your money, go to another Gujarati place. my wife and I went here for a lunch, 2 thalis for $25!! Plano has Indian Flavors and they offer a much better & TASTIER platter, IMO.

Nice food. Fairly priced. Hole in wall concept. The mens toilet here was a toilet cum circuit room. Slightly congested, looks like they wanted more tables accommodated. Very noisy.

You will not agree with the rating until the food arrives! If you are tired of eating typical desi food this place will surprise you. Taste is impeccable and quality is top notch.

Its got all sorts of flavors and spices, the food actually fills me up, they actually give decent serving sizes, the most expensive item on the menu is $11, and I like the staff.

On the outside, it might look like a dingy old Gujju restaurant. But it is definitely one of the tastiest food Ive had. It is reasonably priced. The ambiance isnt great.

Beware. You wont get a bill, even if u ask for it. Ask for itemized bill and then make a payment. Dirty and un hygienic. Worst attitude ever.
