Okay well Corey I was in there yesterday tuesday I ordered two az Philly cheese steaks on my lunch hour and when I made my order the guy asked me if I would like wheat or white I told him absolutely White no wheat so I waited for almost 15 minutes while people came in got their food before me and left when I finally got my food took it back to my shop and my boss and I discovered it was wheat an very very gross! When I called the guy he was like yeah sorry about that when I came in to bring the sandwiches back he told me that there was a shortage of white bread and I told him then why didnt he tell me that instead of just trying to trick me and give me wheat bread! When I came back in your employees that was making food coming out sitting down and having lunch obviously more concerned with getting their food before paying customers can get their order right! You know for as much money as your guyses sandwiches are it doesnt seem like the quality and the service is there!! He told me I could keep the sandwiches didnt even offer to rectify it and make me a new one!! Im a local business pretty much down the street from you guys and I can say that you guys lost our business we will be going to Jimmys for now on! Where getting a philly on White Bread isnt a big deal or too hard for them to get right! I lost a my whole lunch break becuause of that ordeal! Im a mechanic and if you came to my shop asking to get a water pump replaced! i wouldnt say my parts people shorted me a water pump so Ill just put on a belt an hope u wont notice just bad business!!

So much to say about this amazing place, not only are the subs the best ones I have ever eaten but the staff here are so nice and friendly, well dressed, and always helping to pick out the best sandwich that sounds good (which is every sandwich here). The sandwiches are so well prices and you get so much forever you pay for. The owners are very kind and I very highly recommend this place for anyone who loves subs as much as I do. I am not from Arizona, visit once a year and every year I come here for almost ever meal will I am on vacation. I am from Indiana and I wish we had such delicious subs here. If you are ever in this area, do not miss out on an opportunity to try an amazing sub from Shortys. Thank you for the absolutely amazing customer service and the delightful subs. This is the sister store to the Arizona Sandwich Company down the street. Their bread is so so soft, which for me can make or break a sandwich for me. The sandwiches are somewhat no frills, but they are delicious. Just last week, I tried the breakfast burrito. It was big and tasty. My only complaint is that I came in for the croissant breakfast sandwich, but they were out of croissants. I then asked to substitute a bagel, but they were out of those, too! The burrito was my only choice. I cant fully remember, but I think they were out of something the last time I went there, too. Anyway, tasty food, but needs to work on making sure their stock is replenished appropriately.

Food is great but after meeting the owner and his arrogance today I will not return. I buy lunch for my company frequently from here and after today I will not. He talked down about how his employees were taught wrong because they had great customer service and this guy does not. Im very surprised the people there are so nice and helpful when the owner is not pleasant at all. Will not be returning or recommending anymore.

I came in about last week. Ordered chicken club sandwich with the avocado, however, after waiting for about 20 minutes, it still did not come out. I understand that it was busy, however, it seemed that the employers were talking more than making the sandwiches. Very bad experience. Won`t come back again next times.

This place is my favorite sandwich place in this area. It stacks up to other sandwich places in the valley as well, but is definitely king of all lunch spots in the neighborhood. Sandwiches are fresh, taste good and come out quickly. It gets busy at 12, and parking can be tight.

Homey, simple operation that aims to provide classic sandwiches at a low cost and as quickly as possible. Also provides chips, sodas, side dishes and salads. Great spot for a quick lunch. Also provides breakfast in the mornings- I recommend the croissant.

Its delicious! The line at lunch can be long, but the wait time after ordering isnt bad. You can do lunch here for about $10 (sandwich, drink and chips), which is good for those on a budget. Only complaint is the line to order can move really slow.
