I went there the first time today after having moved to Plano a few months ago. When I walked in the staff was having their meal but one of them got up immediately to see me, grabbing a menu and asking me where I would like to sit. She didnt show me to a table but let me decide which I liked best. When I told her I had to go wash my hands first she patiently waited at the tables until I came back and sat down. Because the place is called 269 BBQ and I love BBQ pork my choice was easy. With fried rice. I was enjoying my coke because again it was 95 F outside and I could use the ice cold cool down. The portion was more than enough for one person and do was the rice. I eat a lot of Chines and even worked in a Chinese restaurant as waiter for a few years so Ive learned no fried rice dish is the same. This was not extraordinary but it was good. And the pork was definitely to my liking, nice and crisp with sa nice sauce that bites. After serving me the waitress who looked like he was part of the family who runs the place went back to their table by the wallto continue their meal which I dont mind at all, everybody has to eat and in a restaurant I know you eat when you find 5 minutes somewhere. I noticed she kept looking at my coke several times to see if I needed a refill so its not that they ignored me and left me dry. It was clear English is not their strongest asset but the food is good and thats what matters to me. My Chinese doesnt go any further than Ni Hao anyway which means Hello but thats where I get off the bus. But I will definitely go back and try some of their soups and the other dishes. It was well worth the 2-mile walk.

Its not fancy - but it is GOOD! We come here every week for good, fresh Chinese food. The staff is friendly and attentive and even though there is an obvious language barrier, they try their best to accommodate every request. The restaurant is basic, not very fancy and its a BYOB. The food is very fairly priced with good sized portions. The wonton and chicken soup with corn are great, crispy chicken excellent, BBQ pork fried rice - the best. My only complaint, when we order to pick up and take home, they charge us for bags of crispy noodles for the soup :-( The menu is extensive and theres no problem sharing dishes. Looking for GOOD food, visit 369 Chinese BBQ - not sure what the numbers represent - lots of theories to share...maybe you can ask the owner to further explain.

VERY RUDE!!! I love Chinese original food and ordered for lunch by phone. When ordering by phone the man taking the order was extremely rude, but thought nothing of it. I ordered the Combination Seafood Soup soup which I have had multiple times in different restaurants. While picking up with the same man (same voice) again extremely rude he would just cut you off and seam that it was a issue to him taking care of me. I again let it go and thought maybe it his character while arriving back and getting my food I saw they had giving me the Fish Maw w/ Crab Meat Soup because I have had that too many times. I called to tell them and he insisted I was wrong and hanged up no apology nothing. I cannot complain about the food its good, but the service lacks greatly.

Pork fried rice was not fried. Pork was either raw or not real, also had a funky smell. Looked like steam rice... I paid $8.25 for this?? Chicken egg rolls tasted frozen but were crispy, lacked flavor. Sesame seed Chicken was SOGGY yet warm and lacked flavor, heavy soy taste(isnt this dish supposed to be a hair on the sweet side?), possibly frozen... Orange Chicken was also SOGGY and lacked flavor. Broccoli was definitely frozen, not fresh. Avoid, no way this place could have got 4+ star reviews... NO WAY.

This is probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Dallas area. Their food is terrific and perfectly cooked. I especially recommend the twice cooked pork. It has a dark spicy sauce to die for.. The atmosphere is more of a smallish diner. Kind of so-so.. but hey.. its the food that brings em in.. They have a tv in the dining area that really should be taken down.. It is always on the news and is distracting and annoying.

In my opinion, this is not as good of a Chinese BBQ place as most other chains or family owned, such as First Chinese BBQ. I am very disappointed in the Peking Duck here - its usually dry and they give you a smaller portion of the buns. Its average. Some of the meat dishes are super salty as well. I would not return here when there are other nearby BBQs that are 10 times better, especially for the same prices.

Went there because of the positive reviews. Honestly, the worst I have had, the food was cold and had an odd taste. I told the waitress that I was not happy and she rudely tried to tell me it was good. To top it all off, they made me pay for it. I thought to myself "Well, this was food worthy of paying not to eat!"

I have been coming here for 13 years and never been dissapointed with the food. However, the waitress are not the best communicators, of course there has been difficulties in understanding them at times. The wonton noodle soup is great and delish! Highly recommend this place.

Traditional and authentic Hong Kong style food. Had the BBQ pork fried rice lunch special. Had just the right amount of taste and burnt wok flavor. On the walls are posted the more authentic dishes. Looking forward to coming here with a large group and trying those dishes.

One of the better Chinese places in Plano. My wife is a vegetarian most times and she lives the eggplant. The lemongrass chicken is my favorite, great crispy skin outside and subtle flavors. Great wonton soup too! Go in a group so you can order and try a bunch of stuff.

Moved to Texas from NYC 8 years ago and it has taken me that long to find a good "NY" style chinese food place and FINALLY! After way too many disappointments I have found it. Great food. Friendly service. This is my go to place from now on.

I have only ordered take out from here. The orange chicken was delish. The spicy curry rice was just ok. The food was boxed up very well and stayed hot. I would suggest this place to anyone. Looking forward to trying other things on menu.

bad attention. The staff is very rude. It does not have a good customer service. I went and ordered something which was not what gave me, and then they would not really change so ordered. Would not recommend.
