Crooks! Took the family (2 adults, 1-6yr old child, 1-2yr child) to dinner, bill given to us at the table was for $XX.XX, when we went to pay at the counter the lady (who should really learn to speak better English) told us the bill was for $YY.XX, not what was written on the ticket. After some protest, she then began to threaten to take the difference out of her employees wages and continued to guilt us by explaining the sub- minimum wage of her employees was less then the difference and that her employee would eventually not get paid. Not my problem, FYI. I dont care if its a mistake, fat-finger, or otherwise what my bill says is what is owed. I am a long time Grand Forks resident and I will never eat at, promote or otherwise mention this establishment again. This type of customer service is pathetic. I can guarantee you my credit card company will be notified of this fraudulent charge. In addition, I think the Health Department should take a visit here as the eating area is not very clean let along inviting to dine in. The food preparation area is a disgusting mess, yes I can see through the screen door on the back side of the building that the cooks leave open. Probably shouldnt shell peas while smoking a cigarette on the back side walk either. If you want a good Chinese meal go to China Garden on 32nd, they have much bigger portions for about the same price. Lastly, as the other reviewer stated I too have been yelled at by the prick Mongolian grill guy for spilling a little sauce on the counter during a different visit.

The people in the front are always very cheerful, but it seems that the people filling the lines have steadily become more pushy and rude over my last few visits. For example today (8/27) I stopped in to get a to-go box for lunch, as I was filling it I accidentally dropped a couple pieces of the sesame chicken on the counter in front of the buffet line. It truly was an honest mistake, absolutely didnt mean to do so. I didnt want to put the dropped food in my box, nor back into the food on the line. The lady filling the line had some empty food trays on her cart, so I asked if I could please discard the two dropped pieces in the cart. She glared at me, scoffed, picked up the two pieces and threw them into the cart, scowled at me again, then stomped off. I dont really appreciate being treated like a burden, so in the future I will "burden" other dining establishments with my patronage. It really is disappointing, the to-go lunch is an excellent price for what you get; but Im tired of being made to feel as though I am somehow inconveniencing this establishment. This was my last visit.

Ive been coming to panda buffet for 15 years. The past year since they updated their interior the food has actually gotten awful. It breaks my heart to leave on such a bad note. We went yesterday and getting a nice full bite of raw chicken was the last straw. I tolerated the poor service, I was a bit miffed at the extreme price increases but still its a business and you got to do whatever you can to keep it running so I let it go, and the cold and bad food? Honestly depends when you go. Like any normal buffet. But damn, this past year has just been wretched. The food is always cold, the place is ridiculously noisy since they removed any sound absorption (carpet). And the place is always dirty. I will never be eating here again and warning everyone I know to not bother with them.

when arriving at 8:45pm, they advised us they do not close till 10pm and would add hot food as needed. They never added or replenished the empty items, the Mongolian was good, but the cook was very crabby. The most disturbing was that they began cleaning the restaurant 1 hr and 15 minutes before closing. It was the most unrelaxing experience ever with all the window cleaning(even stood on tables to wash windows and then didnt clean the table), vacuuming, washing the floors(made them so slippery was unsafe to walk on)even cleaned the condiments off our table. Nobody could talk English to us and still charged us full price for a buffet that was 1/2 left and very disruptive environment. They treated us rude and I will never eat there again.

Today my wife and I came here for the first time in 3 years again since our experience hasnt been good the last time, but to our surprise the place had been refurnished, the buffet was amazing! We love going to different Chinese buffets all over the place since were truckers, and we were not disappointed. Our server was very friendly and the prices were very good. We paid 11.99 per person on a Sunday afternoon. Food was fresh and hot and everything we took tasted great! I would recommend going here for a good buffet :)

The Mongolian BBQ and the dessert buffet are excellent, but the buffet is awful. I also didnt appreciate getting yelled at by the cook because I dropped some sauce on the counters. They should probably invest in some bowls so this doesnt happen. Also, the cook should probably realize that its a buffet and things do tend to get spilled. I dont think I deserved to be yelled at to the point that I had tears in my eyes, so with this being said, I will never go there again.

Ive had good buffets. Ive had bad buffets. This wasnt that good. Their Mongolian BBQ was ok but the food containers could use a cleaning. I tried quite a few of the Chinese buffet options but the only one I could eat more of was the mushroom chicken. The rest I "noped" off my fork. The place smells a bit and has a sticky feel to it. Id go back if I was craving a cheap Mongolian BBQ flavor, but thats about all.

I am a Chinese buffet fanatic. Everywhere I go for business, vacation or anything, I always want to try that areas Chinese place. As a Grand Forks resident I couldnt be happier that one of the best places Ive ever eaten is just a few block from my homes The food is awesome. By far some of the best food Ive ever had at a buffet. Very reasonable prices for the great quality in a CLEAN setting! 5*

Eating at Panda is so good. There are so many options for people that "dont like Chinese food" as well. I love to get takeout from there. If you know what you like you can fill up your container and reheat your leftovers. Most things from there reheat well. If you are having a group over it is a great place to pick up a variety for everyone.

I eat there regularly and find the food hot and plentiful. They have a lot of chicken cook multiple ways. They also have a tray of duck breast, soups, a large dessert selection, custard machine, a Mongolian BBQ with a large variety of selections. The Price you pay is under $10 and I see a lot of University student eating there on weekends.
