Fantastic food, however after having frequented this establishment for the past 5 years with no issue we started having problems in the last year or so. We suspect it is unhealthy food handling practices as on more than one occasion multiple people had stomach issues (diarrhea, upset stomach, chills, basically food poisoning). These occasions were spread out over time and unfortunately hasnt gotten better. Two weeks ago my father went for the buffet and came back sick as can be again for a day. I would say to all looking into this place, to watch the staff while you are there. Especially when they set out silverware. The employee there we watched set up the table and touch every single piece of silverware by the end that people eat off of. This is disgusting and any sane person would know not to do that.

This is the first place I miss when I leave NoVa. You just cant argue with good food at a great price. My friends mother is Indian, so Im no stranger to homemade Indo-Pak food. Dont be offset by the bare-bones decor in the place (it is clean); you wouldnt come here for the dining experience, youd come for the food. Most encouraging sign? Seeing a steady stream of Pakistani cab-drivers and families come and go. Theyve been here almost 2 years, so theyre doing something right, and thats simple: delicious traditional food.

So we learned that the management changed few months back. we had been there before but our return few nights back was very worth and can definitely see the difference. The food was delicious and fresh. the idea that friday through sunday they offer a buffet all day at $9.99 is a steal and the biggest deal in town. We truly enjoyed and would go back in a heat beat. good luck and i hope that this review would help you.

We went group of friends for Aftari Was worst food taste and worst customer experience. As soon as. Too pricey even I would like to say they ripped you off. We got charged 7 buffets $180.00 also they add 20% service charge even for self service. Very rude and horrible service. Never go back and not recommend at all. They are not deserve even 1 star.

** One of the best Pak-Indian Restaurant ** I have been to this place many times and I dont remember ever leaving unsatisfied. I wish they have more customers coz they deserve it. Food quality is always good and taste is always consistent.

The wife and I went in for the buffet. Dinner for two for less than $17 is a pretty smoking deal. We were pretty much the only people there and so there wasnt a huge selection on the buffet, but what they had was really good.

Fantastic! Raj, the new manager is exceptional. The food was excellent, the atmosphere felt so much nicer, and the service was phenomenal. Delicious lunch with my husband. Well definitely be back (soon)!
