I went there today, around 2pm. The front order service was pleasant. Very much akin to a standard fast food place, but the prices were around $10 a meal. The restaurant seemed clean, hence the 2 stars. It isnt the kind of place that has wait staff, even though they ask for you to give a tip as part of your order payment up front. I found that odd. We ordered Vegetarian Korma Masala, Sesame Chicken, and Kung Poa Chicken. It came out quickly. However, it was far below par. The vegetables in the Korma were simply frozen mixed vegetables. I asked and confirmed it with the kitchen. I dont go to a restraint and expect cheap frozen veg. They do not have a tandoori oven and the naan that came with the meal was crispy, not soft or fresh, from being browned over a grill. I verified this as well. The rice was very good. The serving of Sesame Chicken had a small serving of meat and almost a cup of large chunks, 1" in size, of raw green bell peppers and raw white onions. They made my eyes water from across the table. Frankly they ruined the meat they covered. The Sesame part was a few sprinkled on top. The Kung poa chicken was way over the top with peanuts, around 1/4, leaving it unbalanced. It was the best of the three meals. I was disappointed and will not be returning.

food quality is horrible here and I question their sanitation practices. prices seem to have gone up but quality is worse, if thats even possible. I ordered to-go and when I got home, I found that they did not even give me the correct order. to add insult to injury, I got food poisoning from the meal. and that is the second time I got sick eating at masala wok (the first time was last year). I should NOT have given you a second chance. and I wont be back. I remember my family racked up 150 rewards points, only to be told that they have to be used within a certain window (10 days?) or they expire. what a joke.

Absolutely hated it and I didnt even bother finishing my meal. It is a fast food type place where you have to order and pay first which was the only easy part. We chose Chinese dishes and it was very bland. When you expect and want spicy food but get something completely opposite, what do you do? Well..I tried to spice it up with some of the sauces that were at the counter but it didnt help. The chicken was either old or not well prepared and I left the place without finishing it. Could improve on cleanliness of the utensils. I was going to try their Katy branch but will not bother now.

Nice atmosphere. Ordered a malai chicken kabab. First time it was brought out the chicken was not fully cooked and was quite rubbery. We had also ordered a tikka masala kabab and that was fully cooked and good. Asked for it to be recooked. Cook had cut pieces in half to hopefully cook it through and it was still not cooked well and still rubbery. Got fed up after that and left. Will not go back to this resteraunt. I think when you sell a lot of meat on your menu you must take extra special care to make sure it is cooked to the customers satisfaction.

There has been a change in management or something but the manager was rude and when I asked to speak to the owner even the owner did not feel the need to accommodate my request even though I told him that I come to this location every week. The previous manager was really nice and helpful Good food but horrible customer service.

Not a bad Texas-Indian restaurant chain. I like the counter service concept, a bit like Pei Wei but Indian. The sauces are just a tad bit too acidic but I really cant complain because the meat/vegetable to sauce ratio is pretty good. You get what you pay for and the garlic naan that comes with the meal is nice and buttery.

Great food and great location behind the mall. Very easy to find and I like the food both Chinese and Indian food was great. The only weakness its bit pricy compared to traditional Indo-Pak restaurants and Chinese restaurants in sugar land. Masala Wok is great place to eat for good Halal food here in Sugarland.

I got the chicken 65 wrap, it was good and the Naan was baked with the chicken, it was marvelous but their salad is horrible, the indian food here isnt authentic at all, no spice at all which is something I care for deeply. If you want real indian food or spice go somewhere in Hilcroft or Bellaire.

Ordered lamb curry. It was too salty and the flavour combination was not satisfying. They give you naan and rice when you order curry, which is cool. However, naan is pretty mediocre. Overall, not bad but not great either. Wouldnt take friends there.

Ive only tried their Indian menu, so I cant say for the other, Ive been here quite a few times, its a good option if you really want to have Indian food, but what I realized after a few minutes that all the gravies pretty much taste the same.

This place has the best seasoning but the penny pinchers that own it decide to give you pathetically small portions of meat. So instead of spending hundreds of dollars a month buying their carbohydrates, we go elsewhere.. What a shame (smh)...

This place has certainly dropped in cleanliness, flavor and quality. The silverware and cups has stains quite bad. The biryani we ordered was fully devoid of flavor. This used to be one of our favorites; but no more.

I loved this place but stopped going when they started chanrging $2 for naan and no longer give a choice between rice and naan. They also started closing earlier at 10 PM. Hope things change back soon.....

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was spot-on. Lamb curry with spinach and the butter chicken or what I highly recommend. This establishment is clean and has convenient parking.

I doubt if this is an indian restaurant. Served a half cooked biriyani... Requested for spicy and turns out these guys served with chilli powder on top of biriyani.. Isnt that funny ?

We love this place just as much as the one in west-chase district off Westeimer. Thank you for bringing one to Sugar land but please consider opening one up on Pearland Parkway.

Worst ever experience at this location. Good is tasteless.. Gobi Manchurian was not cooked properly, burnt smell, horrible experience. Never go to Sugarland Masala Wok.

Food was really disappointing. I requested extra spicy for my dish and they literally threw red pepper flakes on top. This is not the way to spice up Asian food!

Great tasting food, quick service. My kids love the sesame chicken, and the butter masala was great. Could use a bit more chicken in both.
